Beautiful screen, high quality chassis, responsive, and the best speakers of any laptop out there. But this only gets three stars because Best Buy sold this as an open box excellent when it should have been sold as only a fair condition. It was missing the pen, the sleeve, and looked to be heavily used. The store would not reassess it and only provided a third party pen as an alternative with an unfulfilled promise to order the correct pen from Lenovo. Buyer beware on the open box sales.

Every bit of it looked new and felt new! Even the packaging. I can't say enough good stuff about the laptop itself!! It's everything I wanted for traveling and working in so many different settings - it's got more power and storage than anything I had before. Light weight and perfect!! Thank you Best Buy!!

So Far So Good

One of the things I will say is that the screen tends to dim at time when it is exposed to a lot of natural light. This is the only time it does it. Other than that so far so good, but I want to give it another 6 months. This was the most I ever spent on a laptop and I want it to last for the next few years.

To do so, first open the Settings app, then select System in the list of tabs on the left of the app window. Under the Display option tab, next to the brightness slider, there should be a downward arrow. By selecting this arrow, it should cause a drop-down menu to appear. One of the options to appear should enable the user to enable or disable ambient lighting to adjust screen brightness. Regarding your issue with battery life – there are many variables that contribute to shorter battery life. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend utilizing the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.

I bought it brand new, and since the beginning, in less than 11 months, the cooling system seems to be struggling—there's excessive fan noise and heat buildup. The cooling system produces a constant loud noise as if there's something stuck, broken, inside or cracks inside , and the laptop becomes excessively hot. My big advice is do not buy this laptop if you are a student or an employee at all. Do not buy this brand series. It is literally poor quality and wrong choice. Do not buy a 2-in-1 laptop like this one. It was the biggest mistake in my life. This is my second issue with a Lenovo laptop in a row in two years. I wish I could upload the video for demonstration.

Not familiar with the Lenovo series, wasn't aware that it was supposed to come with a Pen. That was disappointing but laptop is nice.

I have found it to match the website's description. The display is beautiful, respond is fast and the battery life very good. So far I am getting 10 -12 hours of battery life, some days a little less, some days alittle more. All dependent on what activities I am doing.
