I used to love chromebooka.for pretty much all uses but finally realized Word just isn't the same.without windows. I mainly use my laptop for word processing and internet so I didn't need tons of memory or storage. I don't need the tablet mode on this Yoga, but it's fun knowing I have the option. The keyboard is excellent and I love the key shape as well as the adjustable back light. 14" screen is perfect. Had it 1 month and very Impressed! Starts up quickly even being windows and runs quiet, almost like a chromebook.

well built laptop

The build construction is solid, with an all metal body and smooth key strokes on the key board. Start up is amazingly fast and it has a very clear and bright screen, that is adjustable for different ambient light settings. my only complaint would be that I wish the battery life was better, but other than that, I am well pleased with this laptop. I would recommend this to anyone interested in a solidly built laptop, especially if you can get it for $250 off the normal cost, like I did.

You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If you ever need additional help with your Lenovo computer, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

What an Amazing Computer!!!

I have been very skepticle of something so little being able to actually perform to my standards, (and typing) as well as MY learning curve to a smaller laptop, as well as the different features that it has than I have been used to. Also, I thought I needed to upgrade my internet speed... turns out I needed a faster machine. My previous were 4GB instead of this one's 8GB... WOW! I have a Lenovo AIO, and now this Yoga C740... I would have changed and spent my money differently years ago, had I known!

Plenty of space. What I don’t like is there is only one USB port. I would have wanted a laptop with more USB ports so I can update my phone and use my mouse at the same time.
