I had purchased this monitor thinking it would be amazing for gaming. Granted it is however i switched to a lower resolution, higher refresh rate monitor instead. My build has a gtx 1070 graphics card and could easily run at the highest settings on most games at a constant 60fps, yours may very according to hardware. Onto the monitor it's self. The quality is just amazing, the clarity as well as screen real estate just makes it a wonderful platform for content creators. If you have experience with mac's 5k displays, in my personal opinion I believe this monitor out wins. The vibrance of colors do a wonderful job of making images pop as well as having nice dark blacks. Also from all viewing angles I haven't seen a loss in quality. Highly recommended this monitor!

I am new to the monitor world have always been a laptop or Imac user until I got this. Absolutely great picture and extremely easy to set up. The height and tilt adjustment make it great for any desk or area.

I use this monitor with my PS4 pro. It’s great for fast paced first person shooter. No lag at all at 60fps and gameplay is very smooth. Color is amazing. It doesn’t have speakers which I prefer. Speakers on monitors usually sound terrible. I have it paired with bose companion 2 s3 or my headset. The menu button is placed nicely under the screen. This a great product for the price. I have no complaints so far.

This is a spacious monitor with a compact stand that works well with my laptop underneath. The color is vibrant and one button interface easy and quick to use.

Absolutely love this screen. It is the perfect size, not too big if you are going to work closely on the screen. I am able to split the screen in half and still able to see things decently. Between my laptop and my split screen, I end up with 3 screens to work on. Perfect for productivity. Also the screen is beautiful and I find the colors are vibrant and accurate. Making it ideal for watching videos on it... You won't be disappointed with this purchase if you have the use for it.

The base/stand of the monitor is adjustable and sturdy. The image is sharp and color is very good. You will have to upscale 150% so that text is large enough to comfortably read given the 27 inch size; therefore, you will have the same screen work surface area as the size of a 27 inch 2560 x 1440. Even given that, things are shaper on the screen compared to a 2560 x 1440.

I bought this to use with my macbook while at home. I use with with the displayport cable and i love everything about it. Great picture quality as well as the build of the monitor itself. It also has the ability to turn 90 degrees should you need it for that purpose. I love the adjustable height, i often bring it up and down to different heights.

This is a beautiful monitor that meets all my needs for now. Very pleased. The only issue I had was that I needed to upgrade my video card to a newer usb-c to get 60hz. My old card was hdmi only and would only get 30 hz at 4k. Keep this in mind. Both worked great, but I wanted 4k at 60hz so went to a nVIDIA 1050 which works beautifully.

Super crisp display. I bought this as an open box item and couldn't be happier with the value! I appreciate the effortless height adjustment. The pixels are incredibly dense making text and photos look smoother than before. I highly recommend this, especially if you just need a good 4k monitor without many ports.

I am very pleased with this purchase. Monitor is very clear and the colors are vibrant. The adjustable stand is extremely easy to move up and down with one hand. It is a very handy feature because I use a sit/stand desk and constantly need to adjust the monitor height. One complaint that I have is the location of the wires. They stick out of the back from about halfway up and are very visible and look awkward because the back side of the monitor is clearly visible on my desk.

I bought this monitor to replace my 1080p monitor and it has 2 HDMI ports and 1 Display port. I use the display port for my computer and 1 HDMI port for my PS4. I will be upgrading to PS4 pro to take advantage of the full 4K capabilities of the monitor. This monitor is very crisp and beautiful. You get 4 times the real estate than a 1080p monitor. It does have an audio out (3.5mm - mini) port that you can use for computer speakers. I use this to get audio out of my PS4 to my speakers. Overall, I'm more than happy with this purchase. If you are playing computer games make sure your video graphics card is capable to output 4K. I'm using a Nvidia GTX 970 and it can handle a lot of games at 4K but not all at 60 frames per second.

I purchased this for my new Xbox One X. It is a great product for gaming. I wish it had HDR, but still, it looks great. I cannot wait to see how it handles actual 4K gaming content. This is a good purchased if your wanting to jump into 4k gaming.

I tried a Samsung, another LG, and a few other options before settling on this one. The height adjustment is a great perk for those like me who are not using the VESA mount. The IPS picture is perfect and far superior to the like priced Samsung 4k.

Like others, I first purchased the Samsung - UE590. I found it wasn't as vibrant as I was looking for, nor were the blacks as good as I wanted. I will say that I didn't spend a lot of time trying to tweak it. I returned it and got this monitor, and I am very happy. The colors are bright, the blacks are black, and setup is simple and straight forward. I use it on Windows 10, mainly for software development, and I really like all the screen real estate. Text looks great once I figure out the on-screen settings to choose for Picture mode. I did play some video games (Borderlands 2) and it looked really good. I am very happy with this monitor!

I just recently bought this monitor with my Mac Pro. The colors, resolution, and text have amazing quality for the price! The only downside is that it doesn't have speakers.. a solution solved by awesome Bose speakers. All in all, highly recommend!

I purchased this monitor thinking it was the UD68 model but noticed this one had a Pivot stand so I was curious in the difference and turns out it's the same monitor just that is is height adjustable. ANYWAY!! it's a gorgeous piece of hardware no flaws at this point.

Bought this monitor on closeout for $370. Zero pixel defects, some uniformity issues (not excessive), average IPS glow. The controls, inputs, functionality, fit and finish and appearance are all great. The stand supports height adjustment and pivots vertically, but does not support swivel. The monitor is a great value at this price point if you don't need higher-end features like USB-C or hardware calibration (which in all honesty is generally so poorly implemented on the lower end displays that it's useless). 27" is a good size to achieve "retina-like" crispness at a useful viewing distance (30-36"). It works great in retina mode on my Macbook. Deducting a star for the lower than average warranty (1yr), the useless "gamma" settings (there is no definition of what they mean or do), the lack of an "info" screen detailing the input signal and operating mode, and lack of per-input settings. The "Custom" preset is theoretically tied to the claimed "99% SRGB" and in my opinion is the only usable preset on the monitor. There are many settings that will mess with the calibration for which the descriptions in the manual are worse than useless, including so-called "gamma" settings that have no meangingful definition and multiple "dynamic" settings that mess with contrast and black-level. Calibrating this monitor was a challenge, but it is possible. After lots of experimentation and testing I was able to achieve an adequate but not great calibration that mostly agrees with my color-accurate Dell monitor. Further complicating calibration was the need to use HDMI for my dual display dual PC setup. When using HDMI inputs one must be very careful to select active cables and adapters, otherwise the monitor will operate in crushed YPbBr "TV mode" instead of full-range RGB "monitor mode". This is not a fault of the monitor - it performs identically on both Mac and Windows in this respect and seems to be a quirk of the HDMI spec being geared toward consumer audiovisual applications. Because the monitor does not display input mode information the only way to tell which HDMI encoding was negotiated is to examine the poorly described "HDMI black level" setting which silently changes from "low" (crushed) to "high" (full-range) when using full-range RGB signals. It took far more experimentation to figure this out than it should have because HDMI compatibility features are so poorly documented. Again, this is the fault of HDMI rather than the monitor which apparently faithfully follows the specification.

I use this monitor for gaming and light work from home use. I will say that this monitor has far exceeded my expectations in every single way. From setting it up to turning it on for the first time, the quality of this monitor is great. It comes with DisplayPort and HDMI cables. Once you open up the packaging, the cables feel very..."Apple-ish". It was very easy to assemble and the stand is quite sturdy. You can only adjust the monitor up and down. Viewing angles are great (being an ISP panel) and I have no dead pixels or light bleeding issues after running numerous tests. For general, everyday use you may want to knock the resolution down to 1440p. Reading text in 4K at this size screen can be a little difficult and may strain the eyes real quickly. 1440p I found to be the sweet spot. Color accuracy out of the box was phenomonal; however I did do a little of my own tweaking to my liking. The panel used in this monitor is an ISP panel (In-Plane Switching). These panels are extremely good for heavy graphics and video editing. Additionally, they're very good if you're more of an "eye candy" sort of gamer looking for color accuracy vs. faster response time. As for gaming - breathtaking. However, you will need quite a beefy computer with some high-end specs to even consider playing at 4K with a respectable framerate. I have a Core i7, 16GB RAM and an nVidia GTX 980 graphics card. I can play games like Destiny 2 and DOOM at 4K with a respectable framerate, but with some settings set down to Medium/Off. Games like Shadow of War I actually had to bump the in-game resolution down to 1440p because my graphics card just couldn't handle it. Overall, if you're an office user or gamer - I would definitely get this monitor. Coming from an old 1080p VA panel monitor to a 4K ISP panel goes beyond the concept of night vs. day. This encourages me to upgrade the rest of my computer to truly tap into the potential of this monitor.

I'm using 4k screen to show 4 additional desktops at once. Very handy. Full screen also very nice with Adobe Lightroom. Overall size fits well on desk next to laptop. Nice to have up/down positioning on stand.

I do graphic design and print work, so you can imagine that the color accuracy of my monitor is pretty important. When I read the reviews and specs I was a bit skeptical as to the actual quality at the price. I would have expected to pay much more for the claims. I decided to give it a try and I can tell you that this is all it claims and more. This is the BEST monitor I have used. The color is totally true to life. In my case that was right out of the box with no additional calibration! If color accuracy is important to you, do yourself a favor and just buy it!
