Went black Friday shopping for the first time, was in and out of the store in 20 minutes. Great service. The TV was an affordable price, biggest I've ever owned, and definitely the nicest. Setup was easy, even for a technology challenged old man like myself.

I bought this TV back at end of Dec and its a new model.was on sale like now for $229.00..i looked at all tv's this size and this by far has the best picture. Now the other thing this LG tv has is LG own tv service with 200 free channels live tv and its has some good stuff.remote to start was hard to learn but once you learn very easy .also a very easy set up. I has a vizio before same size lasted 4 years only, this by far much better picture. But to anyone this series in any size great picture, but for $229.00 I guarantee you this you will find no nicer picture. Or features, or tv for this price.

With televisions coming down in price and including such great features lately, for me it is hard to justify paying top dollar for a top-end unit when this type of TV is available at such a good price. The picture is great, it has plenty of connectivity options, and it is very light and easy to mount. Bottom line, unless you are looking for a very specific feature that this doesn't offer, I can highly recommend it as a great all-around unit.

I just wish it had RCA cables out because I normally hook my TV up to my stereo. Instead I had to put the stereo cables (red and white RCA) out directly from the cable box. At first it was a tiny bit off so I didn't think it would work. Then as I went through the settings, there was a sound sync setting and that fixed it! But the sound is so good, I'm not even using the extra speakers. Speaking of settings, you HAVE TO change the picture settings ASAP. It took a lot of tweaking. I started by calling LG and they helped me figure it out, but once I knew where the settings are, I kept going back to them for about 3 days. I finally got it looking great. But because I only watch through my U-Verse box, it looks like I can only get picture in 720p. That was disappointing, but when I emailed LG, they wrote right back and explained it to me. It was very easy to set up and, at less than 20 pounds, I did the whole thing myself (a 5'3" 66 year old woman). Of course that is on the stand, not mounted on the wall. I'm just very disappointed with the instruction manual. Or should I say what instruction manual? I like to use a book and highlight it and refer to it for years. I want a book with an index and table of contents that I can refer to. The one on the TV is useless. It's some kind of boxes up on the screen I can't figure out. I went from a 4 year old 32" Vizio to this 43" and it just fits on my stand. It's big enough for me even if my boy friend was sad I didn't get a 50". It's kind of disconcerting when I watch shows I didn't tape in HD, because the screen shrinks to about the old 32" size. So although it doesn't look as crisp as the demo in Best Buy which I'm sure was in 4K, I'm still very happy with it. Maybe I'll get brave and try the Smart TV portion so I can see it in 4K one day.

Fantastic TV. GREAT crystal clear picture and easy to use interface that makes learning to use a smart my first TV easy and intuitive. At first, was worried that the 43 inch size would be too big for my bedroom, but its thin bezel and profile make it feel perfect. Only criticism is that it lacks a voice remote so inputting data can be tedious at times.

Great price. Easy to set up! Excellent sound & picture. Perfect size. I would buy this TV again.

This is a great TV. Fantastic picture, great features, and the sound from the set's speakers is quite good even at low volume. Set-up was a breeze. I was excited to be able to access Prime Video, Netflix, and Hulu at the touch of a button on the remote. Then I read the user and privacy agreements associated with using these features and my excitement came crashing down. It seems that LG collects a lot of info on you and shares this with others. Everyone does this but LG states they are not responsible if your data is intercepted or stolen in a hack. What does this say about their security? These agreements also let you know, that if you accept them, directed or non-directed ads will pop up on your screen. That's okay if you like that sort of thing but I'm sick of it on my computer. So read carefully before accepting anything and watch out using this TV as a browser. However, the quality of the set cannot be beat for the price.

We have this same TV in 65” size in our living room so I knew what to expect when we put this one in our bedroom and I wasn’t disappointed. We don’t have HD cable channels in the bedroom so I wondered how the picture would look in SD. With a little tweaking it’s amazing. No problems with WiFi connection although it takes a minute to connect once you power the tv on which can be done with Alexa. The sound is perfectly fine for a bedroom tv. LG’s webOS works great and it keeps us from having to use a separate device for Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video. The LG Channels offer even more shows and movies to watch. I also downloaded the LG ThinQ app on my phone and can control either tv if I have my phone in my hand instead of having to hunt the remote down in the dark. Everyone seems to be on the Samsung trip for tv’s but LG has won me over with the 6 series. Incredible picture, great functionality and an inexpensive price. I’m all in on LG tv’s! Highly recommend the 6 series!

Well, I was forced to buy a new TV because I had no way to watch the new streaming service. I chose LG because of it was listed by Disney as working with the service. I am so glad I got this TV. It turns on fast. The picture is so good that sometimes the set on the TV show looks fake, and it automatically integrated with my LG home theater. I haven’t upgraded a TV in 10 years and I am so glad I did.

This TV has a crystal clear picture, and is in a great price point. Also having it be a smart TV with a direct button on the remote for Netflix is a nice addition. All the streaming apps are there, so you just customize yours and it really makes streaming that much easier than through other services.

The picture is so crisp that it was unnerving at first. Color and clarity are astonishing, once you adjust to it. Easy enough to set up. Wish that it had more audio output options, so that it could also output to our old surround system, but we ordered an LG sound bar and that does the job.

Great picture quality, smart TV functions are user friendly. Apears to be well constructed-thin and light weight.

I’ve only had it for a month so I didn’t want to review yet but I will anyways. The quality is great, easy to navigate so for the price it was a good tv. I just had a bad experience with a Samsung tv that started giving me trouble at the year mark so I chose to go with LG this time. I’m hopeful this tv will last a long time.

I had been wanting a smart TV for our bedroom, and I was able to get this TV at a discount due to it being used as a display model, I got the 5 year protection plan because of that, but the plan came out to $6/yr, so well worth it if anything breaks due to wear and tear. It was incredibly easy to setup once I got it home, had it connected to Wifi within minutes, and was able to download Netflix, Hulu, etc. almost immediately. The only issue I had was that the screen would constantly return to standby mode, but I soon found out that it was because the TV was still in "Store Mode" instead of "Home Mode." Changing this setting resolved that issue and I've not had a single problem since. Picture and sound quality are both fantastic! My next test will be to pair my bluetooth headphones to it and see how those work.

This TV has a clear picture with good color and sound. Setup was really easy. The onscreen menus are easy to navigate. The remote included is busy with too many buttons to operate in a dimmed room. The phone app works great for night time use though.

It is a nice 43 inch 4K HDTV. Physically setting it up with my Yamaha sound bar and LG 4K blue-ray player was easy. Getting the "smart TV" to work with the other components was quite a different matter. The written instructions were virtually non existent. That made for several frustrating hours stumbling through the menus turning features on and off as needed. It was a blind iterative process. After going through that the TV itself is very easy to use for day to day operation and reprogramming the Logitech Harmony 665 remote took very little time. (The learning curve for the Harmony is extremely steep...) Right now I'm streaming a 4K movie from my modem over an RJ-45 cable. This is a decent 4K TV for the money if you can get through the setup process. I'm happy with it now.

For the price paid, it is a great buy. The remote has numbers, unlike the Firestix Smart TV I had to return, so you are not dependent on voice control or have to put up the guide to get the channel you want. Found when my internet went down, it was quite a hassle just to get the channel I wanted with no numbers on remote and no access to Alexa! Picture quality & sound are excellent. Only setbacks from smart tv returned is that you can't rewind current tv shows and there is a lot more to figure out when using the remote. Also, if you are an Apple user, there is no voice command using Siri since it is only compatible with Android devices (Alexa or Google Play). It said it was being integrated into LG models, but I called the corporate office and was told Siri was not available yet. I can turn my TV off using the Home App on my iPhone, but that's it. I was able to use their app to have a remote on my iPhone and iPad which works well.

This is my 5th LG purchase. 2 are used at home, the other 3 in our sports bar. I used to be a Samsung only guy but LG has changed that perspective. Excellent picture and better sound without an external source then most TV’s. Very easy set up and very good Help and Dialog boxes that explain options and functions. Integrates perfectly with WIFI and Xfinity cable service and voice remote. Smart TV channels work very well without lag.

I have not had any issues no problems with this TV it is 100 times better than my previous smart TVs!! It is very easy to use and give directions and set up is really simple. I would recommend it to anyone I need to look out for a new smart TV and it reasonable on price
