Better than top loader without agitator

Had extra large capacity top loader that took forever for a load to wash and was difficult to remove small items from the bottom of the tub. This washer is faster on most loads, easy to retrieve all items from the tub and spins great. I don't believe that it holds quite as much, although it meets my needs. A king size quilt fits and washes fine, but I doubt that a king size comforter would fit. So far, I'm very pleased with my choice.

It's sensor system is more responsive - able to calculate loads to save time and water use with no apparent loss of function. The amount of load variables is impressive too, you are able to fine tune what you need easily - worth every penny of the cost

Excellant machine

The machine works as advertised and with all the technical advances from our 20 year old machine we had been using it is still easy to operate and much more efficient.

This thing is whisper quiet except for when it finishes, upon which it plays a happy little song (not joking) that lets you know that everything will be ok. Everything in this case being laundry.

Beautiful washer and works amazingly!

It is a great washer and dryer. Once thing I love is that the gasket has a small hole vs some of the larger ones that other manufactures have so when it drains all the hair and other items (legos) don't ent up in the bottom filter. My only complaint is that LG washers tend to have water hammering in your pipes so you want to be sure you have an arrestor on your lines or even the ones you can get on your connector hose.
