Needed a TV to replace a broken one in our living room did not really want to spend a lot of money and this LG was the right one as our other TV's are all LG's

Easy to get started and setup. Great screen images and WiFi capabilities. We mounted that set on a food truck and we are extremely pleased.

I needed to upgrade my 8 year old tv. I purchased this one and it has great picture quality a Web based os for the smart function which I like better then Roku. The sound is decent I hooked up a surround sound system to get it to my liking (but it does have a surround function to make sound louder). It doesn't have an aux function only optical so if your old school you will have to upgrade. It's is a very slim lightweight TV though which is great it's not had to move at all. My only complaint is the remote that it comes with doesn't have a keyboard. So you have to keep tapping to type anything. Also there isn't any other stand options my old TV had a swivel stand to change viewing angle which was nice. Lastly it's a good TV for the price and size but for being a new model the refresh rate is still 60.

Great deal. Good color and sound. Not too heavy. Easy setup. I used the stand and didn't mount it on a wall. Simply two pieces that screw in on each side of the bottom.

I love this tv. It is my second Samsung. Originally I bought the LGJ5500, but the color was too dark so I took it back within a week. I also didn't like the stand on the LG, so I bought this one and loved the color and stand. For about 2 weeks I didn't feel as good about the tv as I do now because the tv had the soap opera setting going on. Then I figured out how to turn it off and BINGO, what a wonderful world. The color is bright and vibrant. Sound is clear and loud and I don't have a sound bar. I caught it on sale for $499 on a one day only sale. Same price as the LG. I love it!!

I bought this tv to replace a two year old LG tv that was damaged by one of my kids. That tv was a basic 55", non-smart LG tv(LB5900, I think), but I loved it. I bought this one to replace it. It has more features with the smart functionality and a better picture, and it's $50 less! I wasn't expecting the better picture- but it was really noticeable. It's sharper and more defined in darker scenes, displays blacks better, and colors are improved too. I didn't need the smart apps but tried Hulu and Netflix, and they worked fine. Tried the "Guide" and that works well too. I hooked up my antenna and it shows program guide info similar to what a cable box/dvr would display. You can set up program reminders and scroll thru what's on. Useful for OTA antenna users, but just know that the guide doesn't open instantly- it takes a few seconds to open up, it's really like an app that needs to start up and run. The menu and setup is also very improved from my earlier tv. For a lower priced, brand name television, I recommend it. I'm really happy with mine.

I kept going back-and-forth between the Samsung and the LG. We already own a 55 inch LG that is fantastic so I was a little biased to LG but I will admit the Samsung TVs have a great picture. But for the money this TV is an amazing value for what you get. Even know this is not a 4K TV by the time you get home and hook up the TV I promise you you will not see a difference in the picture quality. All of the reviews I read about 4K is it’s really only a great picture if you get a 60 inch in above television. You simply can not beat the picture quality of this TV for the price.

Although I would have liked to get 4K, I didn't have the equipment to utilize 4K. Therefor, I settled for this TV. The picture is very good for an 1080p TV and since it is a smart TV, it was very easy to setup to my wireless connection. The sound quality is very good providing the TV is in an average size room. I am very pleased with this TV and the price is also good for those that are budget conscious like me.

I finally replaced my 2005 Panasonic 46" TV with this beautiful 55" LG TV. I love the picture quality and how light it is compared to my old one. I was able to use my existing TV wall mount brackets. Unfortunately I found out that new TV do not come with their own wall mount screws anymore. However was able to go to Lowe's to purchase the four I needed for less than $3.00. I highly recommend TV.

We had a great experience at the Polaris Parkway store. We were comfortable with the TV's we had chosen. Our associate listened to our concerns and reasons for picking the sets we had. He asked us more questions and narrowed it down to this great set. The picture is great in our long living room and the set up was so simple. We are thrilled with product and the help we received to pick it.

I have the previous version of this TV and LOVE it. This one I bought for my parents and figured I would be able to use what i knew to help them figure it out. There are several issues I have not been able to problem solve yet (assuming there is a solution) which is frustrating. I think, though, at this point it is more operator error than TV set up but not sure yet. System is more different than I expected. Not as user friendly and intuitive.

I was looking to upgrade from my 32 in tv and I upgraded to this 55 in LG television. In the store I could tell that it was a great picture quality even in comparison to the 4K tv right next to it. I love the smart apps that are integrated into the tv, and I absolutely love that I can control the tv from my phone! Overall this a wonderful smart tv

easy to set up, looks great, good price, very light weight

This LG tv replaced another LG tv that went out after many years of heavy use. The picture is very clear especially for watching football in HD. I'd much rather watch on this tv than be at the stadium. In fact, the tv makes it look so clear as if you ARE at the stadium. The tv has many features and is easy to operate.

I am very satisfied with my purchase! Needed an upgrade from my 32 inch. Especially since im a movie person. Great image and sound. Sound bar isint even needed but I would recommend it for full capabilities. Got it for a great price too and make sure if you don't have a truck to pick it up in most cars allow you to buy the back seats down for more space in the trunk.

Picture quality and sound are great. The system is user friendly. Great quality, great price, great purchase! The ONLY con is I don't feel like the stand is as sturdy as I'd like it to be. HOWEVER, this tv is on the larger side, so since it is not mounted on a wall, unsteadiness is to be expected.

the television set we purchased is really very good has a great picture and also is very easy to operate and control it was very easy to install together with the wall apparatus we bought together with the TV set the color is very good and as we purchased it during a sale event very worthwhile

I had bought a different TV and had major issues so best buy graciously took the crappy one back and gave me this one as an upgrade. Soo glad they did. After the switch...with all the added features...I would have spent the extra money on this one. Love the picture quality and the smart features. Definitely a TV worth buying.
