Glad I finally made a choice

I did months of research, trying to decide between induction, running a gas line, or just settling for an upgraded electric cooktop. We finally decided to make the leap into induction, and I haven't regretted it. 6 qts of water can boil in a matter of minutes. I specifically chose this model because of the knobs vs. Touch controls, but thats just my preference. Sure, there's a learning curve, and you may need to buy new pots and pans, which may involve even more of a learning curve, but this cooktop has been great.
The oven works great too, and heats quickly. Our old oven had heat escaping from somewhere, so I suppose anything would be a massive improvement there. I love that I can set the oven to heat remotely if I choose to, for someone who likes to make a lot of pizza on a baking steel, the ability to get adequately up to temp is a big deal. My kids are obsessed with the fact that you can knock on the glass to turn the light on/off.

At first I thought it was a nice stove. The cooktop works well, was quiet, and easy to clean. When I got around to using the oven I realized how difficult it is to see the settings on the panel since they are done with gray lettering on a black background. I certainly want to bend over using my cell phone flashlight every I bake. This was a poor design detail I could not live with. Best Buy was great about the return.

Precise Cooking & Features Galore

This is our first induction range and it is really an amazing appliance. It has so many features and the induction cooking is so much more precise and responsive than previous gas and electric models. We absolutely love our new range. We bought it based on consumer reports recommendation and we are not disappointed. There is a learning curve to using the stove top but it was a quick process and the results have been many more delicious meals. There is a cool feature to determine the compatibility of your cookware (hold control lock + the # of induction burner https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aqFZ7ahnrQ) on a 1 - 10 scale that was super helpful when getting started. There are so many feature we are still learning about but so far this is by far the best range we have ever used. 100% recommended.

Going from an electric coil range, this LG induction is a game changer. I'll list some of the reasons that compelled us to buy this specific stove over others in the market as we did weigh out some more affordable options, that said I think the value for what you get here is tops.
1) I've been eyeing an induction for a while, we went with this LG because of quality reliability reports. We can't personally attest to the long term reliability as we have not had this stove for long, but the quality seems very good. Fit and finish feels nice, induction spots work amazingly well. The the oven bakes evenly and is true to temperature. The knocking on the glass feature to show what's inside, which I thought was going to be just a gimmick, actually works really quite well to check on food progress, especially since the inside is blue so its easier to see inside.
2) There is nice space behind the oven (at the bottom) for the power cord to coil up in. Some other models with other brands have some awkward power box spots that would have required us to relocate our power outlet, making them a no-go. This won't be the case for everyone, so look at manuals first to see what you're working with.
3) Knobs. Call us old-school but we like physical knobs we can touch, feel, and use quickly.
4) Four dedicated induction spots and one coil warmer. The coil warmer is convenient for keep sauces warm while you finish off the rest of the meal. This one also has a 4,300 watt super burner that I've used to sear steaks to perfection.
I can't believe I like this range/oven/stove as much as I do. Every time I go to boil water to make coffee in the morning, its already at perfect temperature by the time I grind my beans and get the mugs out.
10/10. Just please last as long as we think you will.

We purchased this induction stove after our last LG range with (nearly the same model, but with a standard electric cooktop) was declared a lemon after two years by LG making 3 attempts to repair the control panel.
First, props to LG for making good on giving us a full refund after the local service reps weren't able to fix (and kind of ghosted us). We hadn't even asked for a refund, but they came out of the blue and offered it.
The oven on this unit is identical to our previous LG, and we got great results with it. I've read that some don't get great results with the bottom element missing, but we never had any troubles cooking typical food or any of the billion types of homemade breads we make.
It is missing the slide-out oven rack from our prior model, which we regret forgetting to keep when our old unit was hauled away.
The induction top has been solid. It boils water SOOOO freaking fast. (Our old unit would take 10-15 minutes on High to boil enough water to cook a pound of pasta and this gets there in < 2. On the other end of the spectrum, it simmers fine once you figure out the oddities of induction. It can take a bit to get used to the power cycling that can make it simmer off and on instead of constantly. We really enjoy it though. Works great with all our tri-ply, carbon steel, and enameled cast iron cookware. If you bought Wirecutter's recommended Tramontina non-stick pans, those don't work though.
We were terrified that induction cooktops would sound like a single burner cooktop we had a decade ago (really annoying whiny buzz)--but were super happy to discover the cooktop really doesn't make any noise at all unless you turn on the Boost setting, and even then it was nothing audible with our fume hood running. We heard nothing on normal settings except a quiet fan that remained on for a bit after we'd cooked for an hour.
We also like that the control panel on this unit has buttons that are visible when the panel is off.
All in all, if LG's reputation holds and we don't end up with another lemon, we'll enjoy this range for a long time.
Note on the Best Buy delivery: the kids who delivered it were nice, but they put two REALLY visible scratches in our wood floor taking out the old unit. They also left the plastic on the unit on parts that were pushed between the cabinet, and we also ended up scratching the floor pulling out the range to remove it--so didn't end up reporting it since we all had a hand in the damage. (and the floor wasn't perfect anyhow).

The induction range is designed well and looks nice. It works as expected. It is to be noted that the pots and pans need to be of magnetic material. Therefore, many of the existing pans are useless.

Sleek, powerful, and incredibly easy to use. The induction cooktop heats fast and evenly, while the true convection oven bakes perfectly every time. InstaView is a great touch, and the flex control knobs feel premium. Beautiful design, excellent performance, and a big upgrade to my kitchen.

Beautiful stove that heats up pans quick. The flat top surface is easy to keep clean. I have had natural gas stoves for most of my life, and removing the grates to clean after cooking was a pain. This is super easy to wipe down. The induction cooktop heats up pans amazingly fast, and the temp is easy to control. The oven is a nice large size and the blue interior makes if feel fancier.

Glad to replace our gas stove with an electric stove with induction top and convection/air fryer oven. More environmentally sound. No concerns about burners being on but not lit. Easier to clean the top.

First time owning an induction cooktop oven. It is a game changer for those that like to cook. The control and how fast it heats up is remarkable. This is my 2nd LG oven after the one I had that was 17 years old had to go. Very reliable brand.

Loving my new induction stove. Boils water super fast. Switched from gas, which may have boiled as fast if the flames on level 10 didn't freak me out. The oven cooks faster than my old one, so I'm still getting used to it.
My teenagers, who were afraid to use the gas range, are enjoying their independence and starting to cook.
