It was a decade since I bought my last TV which was among the first 4K panels. After seeing this screen compared to my old tv I could use anything else again. The 120 fps is perfecting for gaming and high frame rate content. The colors are incredibly vibrant and vivid and the contrast is insane.

I bought this 77" C3 to finally replace an aging 60" plasma television. The price was reasonable on sale, and I did not need the over a grand more C4 model as I felt the differences simply were not worth it. Upon setting up the tv I found the WebOS to frankly be clunky at best, not very user friendly and unintuitive at worst. It's too cluttered, too hard to easily customize and add or remove elements that you don't want and need to see etc. I honestly hate the remote, the button placement, especially for the cursor and directional arrow buttons does not seem intuitive at all, and I have to keep looking down to see what I am pressing. A few times I have pressed the wrong button and backed completely out of the program I was watching, and it took a bit to get back. especially annoying during a football game. I immediately purchased an Nvidia Shield Pro and added all of my own apps, as well as turning on HDR10. I simply leave the tv set to the proper input, but it doesn't always return to that input and I frequently reset it. Picture quality is amazing once set to the way you want it. The inky blacks are almost too black lol. I was worried about brightness, but coming from our old tv it has not been a problem. We watched Midway and the Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special and the colors are vivid and just pop, and intense bright portions of the screen plenty bright. The built-in speakers are barely adequate for news channels much less a movie, but that's a given. A tv like this deserves a 5.1 or better surround system to shine. We have a higher end Klipsch setup with 12" sub and it's awesome, definitely better than a movie theater with teenagers in front of you talking or turning on their cell phone screens during the movie. Overall despite the knocks I gave the tv I really think the image quality is the best part of the experience, and that is exactly what a tv is for, viewing. I really with the remote would be more user-friendly especially for folks with large hands. The Shield Pro remote has very few buttons and it is so much nicer to use that the LG's.

Very pleased with the picture quality of this TV as well as how easy it is to change screen views based on content being watched, I.e, movie, sports, etc. the same is true for changing the sound based on content being watched. The remote is sensitive and took time to get used to. The mouse is a bit jumpy when selecting apps.

This is by far the best purchase I have made in a long time. Going from an 8 year old LG 65" tv to the LG C3 77" OLED has given me a whole new outlook on entertainment. The contrast and colors are insane and the realism they bring makes me want to go rewatch all my favorite movies. Gaming is fantastic as well. The lighting effects no longer look like a light on a screen but rather a light actually shining out at me. This adds a new level of depth and realism to the games. I find myself looking forward to the next viewing/gaming session all the time. Can't recommend it enough!!

Returned a Samsung S95C for this. It was the right call. The S95C is technically more on the level of the LG G3, not the C3, which is the next tier down. Still more satisfied with the C3 by comparison, even before considering price difference. The S95C is definitely brighter and has the broader color gamut, but our living room is of average brightness (and the windows are off to the side) and the LG C3 is as bright as I hoped it would be. Out-of-the-box settings do need to be adjusted to achieve the satisfying brightness & color pop, but we soon got it dialed in & love it. We even turn down the brightness at night if no lights on. The colors, while still brilliant & beautiful, also look more natural than the S95C. Older content (I am still binge-watching my childhood favorite, Family Matters, on Prime Video) definitely upscales better on the C3 vs. the S95C, which the internet reviews will also tell you. We also use this for a lot of gaming with the Xbox Series X, and the C3 is the better gaming TV with almost as good input lag as the Samsung, and has more common next-gen features such as Dolby Vision, which the Samsung does not. Movies also look amazing on the C3, and the little bit of stutter can be taken care of by adjusting the clarity settings. Sound is not impressive, and while we tried the LG S950QR which is a “9.1.5” Soundbar system, the WOW Orchestra feature was terribly underwhelming as the sound coming from the TV speakers almost added a canned effect. Returned the soundbar and stuck with the Vizio Elevate 5.1.4, which ironically fits better than the LG Soundbar under the C3 if the TV is on its stand like ours. Side note: the Vizio Elevate is great for the price. Back to the TV: Considering the vast price difference between the C3 and the S95C, and for what we use the TV for, it’s a no-contest for us. We feel we got the better TV and saved $1,000 to boot.

So happy with this TV! This is my first LG OLED TV and I just love it! The colors are so vivid and it looks just as good in my living room as it did in the Best Buy showroom. I connected it with my LG Surround Sound System and that took my experience to a whole new level!!

This is an amazing tv. The picture quality is stunning, the colors are vibrant and bright. I like how easy it is to switch between the TV and Xfinity, as well as to our Apple TV, our DVD player and our video games. Even old, non-HD movies look great on this tv. We have it in a room that is fairly bright during the day (blinds are ordered), but the TV somehow compensates for the light, because the picture still looks amazing. We like it so well that we've ordered the 55 inch version of the TV for our bedroom. We can't opine on the TV's sound, because we paired it with an LG sound bar.

This is a superb TV/Monitor - picture quality is exceptional and great selection of I/O ports. I use optical out into home theatre system. LG TV is center piece of home theatre - just like being at the movies. On board sound is really good. The Best Buy AR tool in description is really helpful for visualizing tv in your environment, but undersized the unit a little in my case. Brightness is improved over last LG OLED we purchased and home menu/OS is super easy to use. Best Buy deliver crew was great and super helpful. This is truly an incredible piece of technology - well done LG!

Not only does this TV have great sound, but the color and picture clarity is top notch. It was simple to mount and set up. The backing seems more sturdy than the other models that I looked at. The screen is a little less than an inch. It has enough ports for all of your gaming consoles and surround sound. The remote is good as well. I do like the pointer it has so i don't have to look at buttons. All in all I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

It's one of the best TVs on the market. Excellent picture quality, deep black. I was in the middle of getting a Samsung S90, but then I changed my mind and went with the LG C3 77. TBH, my kids didn't like Samsung's remote controller and menu. It became a centerpiece in our house.

My long awaited first OLED. Absolutely worth the wait. Previous TVs were TCLs, mini LED and while all were very good pictures for the price, OLED is on another level. Got this one marked down to $1699, and then hit jackpot with an “open box” LG C3 further discounted to $1200. That is cheaper than my TCL Q Series from 2019. This is 77 inches of full crisp, inky blacks with colors bursting off the screen. Still tweaking and playing with all the features. More to come after I’ve played with it for a few weeks but dude, Get one now if you can swing it, I got lucky to find mine with the xtra open box discount otherwise could not have pulled the trigger.

This TV is definitely worth the price. The sharp imaging is easily noticeable in comparison to other TV's. I had a hard time deciding between the Samsung QLED with its brighter colors or the LG OLED with its true blacks. Since I have it in a dark room I ma very glad I chose the true blacks. The true blacks makes the colors stand out. This TV is very bright! The colors are not lacking at all. The biggest reason I went with this tv is because of the frame rate. I play games on the Xbox Series X and I had a good tv before, or so I thought. The graphics that this TV brings out are unreal. I see things in my games I did not know were there. The frame rate is so good that when racing on Forza the blur on the side is not so much a blur any more. when you are turning at fast pace you can still see the details instead of just a blur. It is an amazing tv for watching movies. However, if you want a TV for the next gen game systems this is it! You wont be disappointed. I have had this TV for a couple months now and I am still impressed with it.

This is tv is excellent, the picture quality is phenomenal, the sound out of the box is also great its loud and the audio is crisp, the 77 inch is an excellent size, its the sweet spot for anyone looking to go bigger than a 65 inch size but not break the bank on a 83 inch. I got my first 77 inch C3 back for memorial day when it was discounted for 2,000 at the time, i just purchased my second one for Cyber Monday for an even lower price of 1,500, i highly recommend getting the C3 while there is inventory still left if you don't want to pay more for the current C4 models. Between my 42 inch C2, my 77 inch C3 and now a second 77 C3 on the way. i cant recommend the C3 to anyone looking for an excellent OLED upgrade.
