My mom purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son (big help to my husband and me). Our seven-year-old can easily, and independently, operate the machine. The DVD player has a USB port in front and comes with a remote controller. It's functional, easy to use, and our son has been having a blast with it.

decent dvd player for the money, set up was a breeze, small and compact to be placed anywhere on entertainment console, the remote control was light and easy to use.

all I had to do was plug the connection wire on to the back and plug it in and it was ready to go, It is simple to use and performs great, I was able to watch my DVD's on it right away... no extra anything needed . it even came with the batteries for the remote...

I bought it for my son’s room. It works great! It’s easy to use, has a simple remote and setup took about 1 minute. My son uses it every night. He watches a movie while falling asleep. Never any problem with the device. Great picture, loads quickly, I have no complaints.

Simple, no frills budget dvd player for viewing self recorded media on cd/dvd. No display or manual controls(except for power & eject). However, for the price it is a solid performer.

Nice DVD player, wish it had a play button on the box rather than just on the remote. We lost the remote for a few days and were unable to use it. Besides that it works great when you have the remote.

I needed a basic DVD player for a bonus room, and the price was beautiful. Its performance, so far, has been flawless. Of course, at this price there's no HDMI port, but that's not a big deal — the component connections work fine.

We bought this DVD player as a cheap solution for being able to watch DVDs while we worked out on the treadmill, not expecting too much out of it. It has been absolutely wonderful! No issues to date, and we are very happy with it!

Have played 10-12 dvds so far on this player. The only issue that I can think of as negative is that the remote must be pointed directly at the player. Everything else is great. Very happy with this player!

My new LG DP132H DVD Player is a great value for the price. The remote is a smaller version of a standard sized multi-functioned TV remote and it still includes all functions that you would expect. Other players at this price only offer a small egg shaped remote that only operates the player. I bought it for my living room television and it is working perfectly. The picture quality is good, no problems with connecting to my cable box and the sound is clear. Also, other DVD players I have tried vibrate and run noisily, but this LG DVD player is quiet when loading and watching a disk. The added up-conversion is a plus that I didn't expect. I couldn't be more satisfied with this product. Highly recommend !!!

I purchased this player as an upgrade to an older Sony and in keeping with their solid reputation, LG ("Life Is Good") has proved reliable again.This player is easy to hook up, operate, and performs excellently. No skipping etc. Highly recommended.

The unit is very small so it is perfect for the bedroom but the remote is very small and hard to use with just one hand - the buttons are close together. But overall it is a good machine.
