Powerful for its size which is nice. It is compact but still able fit a regular size dinner plate. Boils water super fast. I like the sleek, clean, streamlined appearance. The inside is darker and a nice deep gray, not white (which I never liked) and the turntable is cleverly designed, no wobbling at all. The selection pad is inside the closed door with minimal controls accessible from outside, which is pretty ingenious. Stop/clear, +30/Start and the +/ - minutes buttons are located on the outside with the quick select choices inside. It runs extremely quiet and the end tone isn’t a horrible beep, it’s more melodic. I like it much better. I was looking for a small microwave to fit a specific area, all I could find were lower powered ones. I found this one which appears to have everything I wanted and the size is perfect for smaller spaces. It has cooked everything I’ve tried, faster than my previous one too. This is my first LG small appliance, I’ve been told they are pretty good, and I am hopeful this will continue to perform well and for a long time. I would recommend this to my friends, and I would certainly buy another if I had the need. Price was about the same if not better than others in this size range that offered less features and less power. BestBuy delivered as promised and that went perfectly.

On the plus side, this was on sale for a pretty good price. The oven is sleek looking. In the short time I’ve had it, the inverter technology seems to heat more evenly. It’s quite powerful at 1000 watts versus the 800 watt unit it replaces, although so far I still have it, so now I have 2 microwaves in my small nyc apt lol. On the down side, although the interior is larger, my visionware pots which have handles do NOT fit in it! Well, they fit, until the turntable starts turning and the handle gets stuck! My old unit is smaller, but lacks a turntable so my pots fit better in a smaller space! Not happy about that. The only controls you can set without opening the door is the +30 seconds button, which is flush with the surface, and doesn’t always engage when pressed. It seems to do better with a thumb vs index finger but it’s annoying. There’s also a “slide” button where you swipe to increase or decrease time, marked with - or +. But it’s also flush, and not terribly responsive. Setting it for 6 minutes and 20 seconds is a slow process compared with a number keypad where you just push 620. There are more controls once you open the door, but still no keypad! I think this is a terrible design! The door covers the entire front of this oven, so it needs lots of clearance! And, it opens to a 90 degree angle and no further...it is made of plastic and feels like it could snap off if handled roughly. Or, you could snap a finger on the I’ll-conceived handle when opening it quickly. These shortcomings have become more apparent the more I use it of course, and while I’m not unhappy with it, it really hasn’t been an upgrade for me except for the converter and the slight power increase. Like anything else, I’ll adjust to its quirks and may learn to appreciate it lol. At least I still have my trusty old microwave where my pots fit!

Our old microwave finally died, and we needed a new one immediately. There's just the two of us, so we needed a small microwave. I picked this LG out on the Best Buy app, drove to Best Buy, and they brought it out immediately (curbside). We have several other LG things (stove, TV, clothes dryer) and so we like the quality of the LG brand. The size was perfect. It is very attractive looking. It is easy to set. It can only be set in 10-second increments for under 3 minutes, and only in 30-second increments for cooking times over 3 minutes. I thought I would miss that 7 second heat- up of a cookie, but 10 seconds is just fine. You can hold your finger down, or slide your finger on the little dots from left to right, to increase the cooking time quickly, or just keep tapping. There are a lot of settings, but honestly, we cook everything on high power. The turntable works smoothly. It plays a cute melody when the time is up. I press a little on the top with one hand, to pull the door open with my other hand. The interior is so easy to clean, with the stainless steel interior. My only complaint is that to change the clock (for daylight savings day), you have to unplug the microwave, and plug it in again, to get the clock commands. I really like it.

Good as a microwave, nice and compact, could use some improvement on controls, but overall I'd get it again. Heats well, easy to clean, good aesthetics.

I haven't owned a microwave in years. I was warming everything up on the stove, which is probably healthier anyway. But, after a few gatherings at my place, almost every time it would've been nice to have that convenience. So, I decided to look for a small compact one for the kitchen and that's when I came across this LG at best buy. In knew it when I saw it that it was the one. Even after walking around and checking out other units I couldn't stop looking over at it. It was compact but not tiny. Well priced but not cheap looking.And it has touch controls! What?! Mind blown I walked back over or it and snatched one up before the crowed behind me realized how much of a steal it was for this 1000 watt future forward food heater.

We're not microwave people. We prefer the stovetop or conventional oven. But a microwave certainly plays a role in our daily lives (e.g. morning oatmeal, defrosting food, etc.). When our countertop microwave of 15 years broke, we saw an opportunity to effectively remove the appliance from our kitchen. We went looking for a compact microwave that would fit into the 18 inch cabinet we have in the far corner of our kitchen (with a power outlet already installed). I discovered this microwave and the reviews were positive. The price was excellent. And the specifications seemed good enough for our light needs. We made our purchase during the COVID-19 lockdown and Best Buy's curbside pickup worked out great. I pulled up. They dropped the microwave into my trunk. Away I went! The microwave was a perfect fit with sufficient venting above the unit when placed into our cabinet. The aesthetic is great. The stainless + black glass look is simple and refined. The touch panel isn't always as responsive as I'd like, but it doesn't bother me much. What was most surprising was the power. Our old microwave was rated at 1250W. This one is under 1000W, yet it's more powerful than the one it replaced. Note that this is indeed a small microwave. I would say that it would fit a large dinner plate and not much more. So, if you're like us and rarely use your microwave, give this one a try! The best part: It's out of sight when we close our cabinet doors.

This microwave is perfect for small spaces. It incorporates a handy outside slide icon to set warming time easily & efficiently, allowing to revise time without opening the unit. It also has a nice digital tone when cooking is complete. All controls are on the inside making its appearance sleek & complimenting to any kitchen or room.

I only purchased this microwave a few months ago but so far I’m very happy. This replaced an expensive cusinart toaster oven that grilled, baked, warmed food, etc which constantly got dirty. No matter how much I cleaned it it looked horrible inside. This microwave is easy to keep clean. I just wipe it down and clean it here and there. Looks beautiful and modern. When the food is ready the microwave plays a cute tune and remind you again if you forgot to take your food out. This microwave was for a small space in my kitchen and it fits perfectly.

I’m in love with this microwave oven. I wanted something small and doesn’t take up a lot of space, and this is perfect. It also looks so sleek. Others complain about the “cartoonish” sound/jingle it plays but I honestly love that feature because I often forget that I put something in there! I only wish this came in black stainless steel finish to match with the rest of my kitchen appliances but isn’t a big deal.

Recently purchased this LG compact microwave, and love the unit! Our kitchen has limited counter space and we have hesitated to add a microwave as to save valuable counter top real estate. With the sleek design this unit offers, we were able to place the microwave on top of our refrigerator and the appliance blends in perfectly. This little guy not only gets perfect scores for design and dimensions, but for overall performance. From reheating leftovers to cooking frozen dishes, the smart inverter technology turns out nearly perfect dishes in minutes: Highly recommend! It is worth noting there is a larger version if you are not as tight on counter top space as we are.

Great microwave. We needed a smaller microwave to go on the counter under a cabinet and this worked perfectly. We love the sleek design and the ease of use.

Doesn't take up a lot of room but has more power than most of the smaller microwaves. Looks great and is super easy to clean. It does have a catchy tune instead of a beep. We love it.

Great small sized microwave that heats evenly. The inside is big enough to fit a large plate of food and the light makes it easy to see while it's heating. Without numbers to press, it makes it fast to get started.

Never had LG microwave before I had Kenmore for 10 years now I want a different product and saw on sale price so I bought it I love it and it was small for my small apartment it looks so nice and runs great. Love LG Product

Love this microwave. Perfect size, looks nice and easy to use. Works great! I was looking at microwaves all week and as soon as I went to buy it Best Buy raised the price to $159 from $129 so that sucked.

Powerful machine in such a small space! We’ve been using this for a little over a year and it packs a punch. It heats things quicker than my older microwave. It is small and compact to not make it the focal point of our kitchen, we have ours in our coffee nook.

Bedside the fact that this microwave looks cool it fits perfectly in our hone since we didn’t want it taking up too much counter space. Heats food up evenly, we love it.

replacing an old one in the office. This one has proven to be quick to heat and easy to use. Also like the fact it does not over heat. simply plug in and use. We are using it in a sports facility

What more can I say it's a microwave that does what it's supposed to do easy to clean useer friendly easy to use the touch sensitive controls on the front and overall very good quality, it's LG so it's kinda hard to go wrong with the LG appliances in my opinion. Been using it for almost a year now and I don't have any complaints.

No greasy buttons to deal with. Easy to clean. Perfect size for the apartment. Quiet and gives an audible alarm to let you know it’s done cooking.
