I've long liked the idea of cordless devices for most things, save one. For whatever reason, I've never really felt that I needed wireless headphones. I don't know why, honestly. Most headphones I've owned have died because the cord is easily tangled, fragile, and prone to getting caught on things. But it just never seemed worth the added expense.
This particular set, which is a combination of earbuds, a smart watch, and a hands free earpiece, does appeal to my love of gadgets with way more features than they really need. And I have to say they're now my go-to headphones for everyday use. But I have to say that I think there are still some bugs that need to be addressed here.
So first off, the actual headphones are really just two little nubs that pop out of the collar. At first I thought this would be a big problem for me, as I always tend to lose tiny things, but I'm actually rather impressed so far. The headphones do stick in your ears, and with how small they are there isn't much argument from gravity. When they're not in use, two latches on the collar hold them firmly in place while keeping them charged.
BUT... if I follow the fitting instructions in the box, the things are solid as a rock and have great bass response but are physically painful to wear. They can tightly nestle into the shape of your ear, but I think mine might be just a little smaller than whatever baseline they were using to design them. I just can't do it for more than a few minutes. Adjusting it slightly gives me a more comfortable fit, but at the expense of creating a slight gap which makes them less secure and cuts down their ability to deliver any bass. I feel like they could have easily fixed this just by including a larger option for the rubber ear plugs, which makes me somewhat annoyed.
As for the collar, that provides the option for both notifications and a bit of extra battery power. The earbuds on their own are rated for about 3 hours use (which my tests confirmed to be broadly accurate, though it seemed that the left earbud died faster) and the collar contains additional power to charge them up for 7.5 hours (my tests confirmed 7.) Pairing it up with an app on your phone allows the collar to vibrate when you've got a notification and read out notification texts on the earbuds if they're in use. It's also just the right size and shape to slip under a shirt collar, which is definitely a plus given that wearing this is not the most flattering look.
BUT... I don't know why they thought that it was a good idea to deliver messages through this big vibrating collar. Again, it works, but it's just not comfortable. The place it tends to sit is very sensitive, and the vibration is just harsh enough to make it unpleasant. I turned this feature off after the first barrage of messages made me pull the collar off, and I plan to keep it that way. Likewise, the app that you use is a somewhat clumsy design that ensures easy access to the legalese within the EULA but is rather feature poor beyond that. There are controls to turn notifications on and off, an instruction manual, and a "voice memo" feature that I've yet to find a good reason to use.
In the end, these issues aren't enough to make me dislike the headphones. For convenience alone they're worth dealing with the rough edges, and once you pair them the things work just about perfectly, automatically turning themselves on, connecting, and setting up controls for their multifunction buttons. And the collar design is, in my opinion, a far better option for a storage case/charging pod than the usual pill box designs that I've seen for this form factor. But the lack of polish does stop me from giving the product full stars, and if you're an audiophile who really cares about completely faithful sound they might not be for you.

I found the earphones in the neckband to fit nicely around the neck. They were a nice weight and stayed in place. The earbuds were in the earphones already, so I took them out. This is when they said something (ready to pair). The first design flaw of these earphones is that the earbuds give instructions when they would be expected to be out of your ear, like when they are put back in the headset. They come with two different adapters for ear size and once I got the correct sizing, they stayed in my ear for hours. They have a slightly noise-cancelling effect, but not so much you are unaware of your surroundings. The second thing I noticed was that they only have one button on each earbud. After reading the instructions, I easily paired it with my computer and my phone. The shortfall of the buttons is they only do two things: answer/ hangup calls & play/ pause music. The neckband does nothing. This is incredibly disappointing as there is no way to control the volume on the neckband or the earbuds. The solution of unnecessarily adding yet another app on my phone to control volume and calling didn’t make any sense, even though it has the added feature of the equalizer controls. The native apps on Android work just as a well.
The next thing I noticed was once I put both earbuds and played sound, it only played out of one ear. There was nothing about this in the instructions. Eventually, I figured out a long press on the non-dominant earbud would activate it. Why would it not activate when I took it out of the neckband?
Phone calls must be made through the phone, not via voice commands. There is only sound out of the dominant earbud. The caller sounds like they are speaking from a long, tunnel with a tinny voice. The caller said it sounded fine to them. Getting the call on a phone, there was a lag time for the earphones to connect and further lag time waiting for it to tell you who is calling. I found myself getting my phone to see who was calling before they hung up, which kind of defeats the point of Bluetooth.
However, I was impressed by these earphones when it came to playing music. I listened to a wide range of genres and each song was crisp and had the perfect amount of bass. The sound beat all of my headphones and earphones, wired and wireless, hands down. With the comfort of the earbuds, I listened to music for hours with no discomfort. I could leave my phone in another room and the music played just as well.
At one point I realized though that wearing the neckband band was useless as I didn’t need to wear it when I was listening to music; I don’t think it ever vibrated when I got a phone call. And when the earbuds are charging, I’d rather just put it down. Unfortunately, it’s not something I comfortable putting in my purse, bag or backpack by itself. It would make more sense if the earphones to at least come with a case or a bag to protect them. I absolutely love the additional charging power that they provide, although I would prefer and a charging indicator directly on the neckband. I also noticed there is no way to turn the earbuds “off” as they automatically turn off when in the neckband. Of course, when you plug them into the neckband, a light on them turns on regardless of if the neckband is off or on. It’s also confusing that it only sometimes vibrates when you snap the earbuds into place and only with one.
All in all, I’d probably give these earphones a 3 out of 5. They are clunky (which makes them easier to fall out) and they lack the basic features that I seek in earbuds that big. The sound for music is great but has horrible sound for phone calls.

This review is about the LG Tone Wireless in-ear headphones. I have had these about a month now and I will list what I like and what I don't like, trying to remain as objective as I can. I want to be fair to both future customers as well as to LG.
What I like:
1) They are wireless and the reception is good
2) The quality of the sound is good too
3) Hands-free, voice-activated calls, similar to the Bluetooth in my car
4) Pairs with about anything- I paired it with my IPad, my phone, my Surface Pro.
5) they charge while in the neckband and the charge holds for hours
6) they are convenient- no bulky headphones over my head, giving me a sense of freedom
7) They have a dedicated App which gives battery status , volume level, and control over basic features.
What I do not like:
1) They are priced high- Not sure if the value is there
2) They come with a small ear bud and the replacement buds are the same size--no variation in size probably so they fit into the neckband freely. I have a large ear opening and the smaller buds make my ears hurt because I try to make them fit by pushing them in constantly. If you can wear a smaller bud like these they should fit well. However, in my case, I replaced (with some effort) the smaller buds with a set I had on another set of wired ear buds. They fit well then, but when removing them from the neckband they turn inside out because the neckband opening is made for the smaller bud. I don't know if this will harm the speakers eventually or not.
3) It can be difficult to pair them sometimes. Also, the one day I put them on I could not get the right ear bud to work. Since the left bud is the master, I think the "sub" bud (the right one)needs to be connected separately to the first bud.
4) Lately the App (LG Tone and Talk) will not connect to the system so I cannot adjust the volume of the buds; I cannot see the battery status. Plus, the latest upgrade is geared more for the LG buds that are wired, not the wireless set.
5) The neckband is not something that I would wear. I don't really see the point. Yes, it vibrates when a call is coming in, but the ring tone sounds in the ear so I don't need the vibrating neckband. As a charging device the neckband makes sense and the buds are easy to place into their openings
6) I don't think they are good for working out or vigorous exercise or active work. Just this morning I was eating breakfast with the buds in while streaming a program on my IPad. The left bud fell out onto the floor twice. It was because of my chewing. That is not exercise or working out where I think they would eventually fall out.
So overall I like them, but I would not recommend them to a friend. I think they need to reduce the cost and get things a little bit more together as far as instructions and the App.

These earbuds provide you with crystal clear sound and are extremely light weight in the ears. Out of the box, connected to my iPhone 7 plus, download the tone and talk app and listening to music within 5 minutes. The setup of the LG TONE Free's was extremely quick and simple. Each time that I turn them on they connect to my phone in an instant. The have amazing clarity when listening to many different genre's of music. I wore them for over a hour around my house and even went outside to do some yard work. Very comfortable in the ear. My one con is that they are very light on bass, this is definitely not a deal breaker. I would definitely recommend these.

LG Wireless In-Ear Headphones HBS-F110
Earbuds/Headphones are in a product category that defies generalized reviews. Earbuds are too personal. Whether or not a model is for you depends on comfort, your desired tonal balance, and the intended purpose.
I found the LG HBS-F110 to be comfortable in both their fit and their easy and natural reproduction. I’m notoriously difficult to “fit” with earbuds. The harder plastic ones fall out on me. I like a properly sized, softer earbud that inserts a bit into the ear canal. These work for me, because they are easy to place and the fit works. I’m not sure how well they will tolerate lots of jostling, but time will tell. I should also add that they paired up with my iPhone 6 with NO drama. Easy-peasy.
Sound quality is a different story . . . for me. These are a natural, and pleasant sounding headphone. I’m not a bass freak, but these don’t go as deep as my wired phones, and I’m left wanting more . . often much more. At the other end, the treble seems more restrained than I’m used to hearing. My earphones with a broader range can be scintillating on the same music. Comparing these with my new favorite premium earbuds, these are lacking. But my favorites don’t have any of the Bluetooth technology, or nifty design. The LG HBS-F110 are a bit of a compromise in my opinion. Comfortable, easy Bluetooth setup, and easy to wear around town. But not my cup-of-tea as far as premium sound. Your call.

The LG Tone Free Bluetooth Wireless earbuds have some pros and cons with them. First, the wireless earbuds are great technology. I don't have another wireless earbud to compare them to - but the fact that the earbuds pair with your phone is awesome. You don't need to wear the neckband to pair the earbuds. They are independent of each other. The band is not that lightweight - so being able to only use the earbuds when going for a walk is a huge plus for me. I am not a runner - but I can't imagine having the neckband on while running would be that comfortable. The earbuds fit easily into the neckband to charge and they have a voice that tells you when they are on and connected. Some of the drawbacks of the earbuds are the limits on how you play your music. You can't go back to the previous song. I have not had any problems with the earbuds falling out - but I wonder how they would fit a smaller woman or young teen. The sound quality on these is OK. For the the price - I would have expected a better sound quality (comparing to my wired headphones) . I would recommend for the technology.

Where to start.....
So lets start with comfort. These things are pretty comfortable to use, they sit in the ear quite nicely and have not yet caused me any discomfort. The band around the neck holds a charge so that the earbuds charge up when put back, awesome idea. Cosmetically they look pretty good too.
Things are not so good when it comes to audio. Its a very shallow sound with very little low end, for some types of music this will be fine but for most of what i used them for its lacking. Call quality was also a bit of an issue as people said i sounded like i had stepped away from my phone, the sound was low and only worked in the one ear which i found frustrating.
Overall i think these are ok for what they are and we are still early`ish in the life of wireless earbuds, These may be the best that I have used so far but they are not good enough for me to ditch the old 3.5mm jack equipped buds. If you absolutely have to have wireless then these will be great for you, if you dont have to then stick with what you know

Been the perfect Bluetooth hunt for quite some time so when I saw these I was ecstatic to see they come with the option to detach!!! BUT with that being said my expectations were sorely disappointing!!!
Pro: the neck band is a portable charger
Pro: talk time is 3 hrs as most are well below that
Con: You can ONLY use the LEFT earbud ONLY for calls
Con: No volume controls on the headset or earbuds at all
I had thought the set would also be versatile allowing the ability to talk and hear via BOTH earbuds and/or the Bluetooth combined but alas you cannot. Essentially the neck band is ONLY used to charge.

I found the LG HBS-F110 to be a comfortable fit in both my ears. Initially, I was wary that they would fall out of my ears during my morning power walk sessions, but this morning being my first, they did not.
Pairing/Sound-They paired well and instantaneously connected with my Galaxy Note Edge. They provide decent sound. I asked a few friends how well could they hear me and their responses were, they heard me fine. I personally did NOT experience any background distractions or tinny sounds. I got a clear sound with decent bass. I will note, they are true to their advertisement of 3 hours, which is all I got. When amidst a phone call, only the left ear works. I am not sure what was LG’s reasoning behind this odd concept. Truthfully, I adjusted fine, but still having sound in only one ear makes me think there’s a possible malfunction in the system.
Overall, these are decent, with a few hits and misses.
