Colors are best on anything at or under a grand in cost . Id even put them above the Apple. Size is natural a hair smaller than would be desired and connection has issues occasionally when opening and closing laptop . Quite a delay.

Absolutely the best 4k monitor out there!! I bought it for Windows PC. Works perfectly with my Dell Latitude 7490. Very useful trick!! - As many of you already know this monitor doesnot have controls to adjust brightness, a next trick what i found is you can connect to a Macbook, adjust brighness, then connect back to PC & the same brightness setting remains. So this way even brightness control functionality works. Sound works without any tweaks & the speakers are a delight. Overall, i am just thrilled with this monitor. Thinking of buying one more & stocking it as it might soon become unavailable everywhere, as Apple is no longer selling it.

I am very happy with the purchase of this monitor it pairs nicely with my iMac the colors are vivid looks great! I would recommend this to anyone who owns a mac and needs extra viewing space when working on their computer.

This monitor is great, as good as the Apple monitor we are very pleased with this. definitely recommend to others we also get the replacement plan overall is a great product!

I have one of these monitors hooked up to my dell and another hooked up to my MacBook Pro. They are absolutely amazing. They work seamlessly with both computers and I love the built in speakers.

So this monitor is simply amazing. I also have a 34 inch ultrawide by LG and a 27 inch HP monitor - which are both notably high quality monitors... Neither comes close to this display. The only problem I have with this monitor is that it is so amazing, that I travel with it - like I literally pack it into the box that it came which (not small) and carry it with me; for the record, I have a macbook 12in which I bought specifically for its portability/small-size. That being said, if you're reading off the screen for long periods of time then this monitor is your best friend. People may complain that "its not all aluminum" but honestly this is a very very small complaint for the quality of this monitor.

Purchased this monitor for my wifes MacBook Pro after reading multiple reviews and speaking with Best Buy sales staff. I made it perfectly clear that our MacBook Pro was the previous generation, and did not have Thunderbolt 3 connectors. I was told I could purchase cable adaptors to make the connections to the monitor. After receiving the monitor, and purchasing the Apple Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adaptor and Thunderbolt 2 male to male connector for $80, the monitor failed to do anything at all. I had to download the full manual from the LG webpage and nowhere does it say you can't use a USB-C to Thunderbolt 2 adaptor. I finally found a definitive statement buried in the Apple.com support pages. "A Mac with built-in USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports is required; the display isn't compatible with Mac models that use Thunderbolt 2." This would have been extremely helpful knowledge to have before I purchased the monitor. I understand the sales staff can't know every single little detail, but I specifically stated I had a last gen MacBook Pro. It's not even 3 years old, this is absurd. I'm sure its a beautiful monitor, but I wouldn't know.

Ordered this online and it arrived with the stand broken. The screen does not stay up. I am overseas and Bestbuy won't do anything as far as repairing or replacing it. Screen is high quality but heats up quickly.

After a couple of years has lines and red band all around. Not good!!
