My husband is a contractor and his phone is always getting scratched from dirt and also dirt in all of the crevices, therefor making the phone hard to see and hear out of. This case has been a life saver for him. The case keeps his phone totally protected.

I've used 3 Otterbox Defenders over the course of my time with my iPhone 5 and I recently got the LifeProof fre. I like it more than the otter box because it's not only thinner and less bulky but it protects even further my making the devices entirely waterproof - something the Defender never did. Only complaints are using the earphone jack can become an annoying (albeit short) task, removal could be easier, and the plastic covering the home button and camera/flash feel like they could rip.. Compared to the cost of an Otterbox this is much better for $20 more.

The only reason I had to buy another one is because my 1st one had already been replaced by Lifeproof & a replaced one goes by the original warrantee. There were no questions asked when Lifeproof replaced the 1st one. It protects my phone like no other case.

I would definitely have to say that I would purchase a Lifeproof over a Otterbox anyday. The Lifeproof case is slimmer and more durable than the Otterbox. The Otterbox may have more of a selection in colors but the durability of the Lifeproof wins me over!

The only complaint I have is the front window. The window doesn't fit tight against phone so when I touch it, it looks like there is water or something under it; but there isn't. I've cleaned it numerous times. It's not a big deal though as I've gotten used to it.

Last case lasted two years and I am camp counselor and life guard. Also used it on water slide on cruise. The only reason I got a new one because it started looking rough from being tossed around everywhere, not because it didn't work. It worked great.

Overall it's a good all around case. The holster it clips into is bulky. It's light weight and easy to handle. Controls are easy to use. Still the cost is high.

I bought this for my son due to its durability and being waterproof. I have the same case and had left my phone outside this summer during a down pour. After 2 hours of being in the pouring rain, my phone was completely dry inside the case. Whew!

This case seems to work well, I work construction. It defiantly holds up. The down fall is the do wear out after about 6-7 months. Best buy has been great about replacing them for me. Life proof is a little hard to do warranty exchange.

My two problems are that sometimes it's hard to get the earphone jack fully inserted with the case on, and the membrane that allows you to hear sometimes sounds like the phone is under water. Other than that this is a surpurb phone case.

I was really hoping to absolutely be in love with this case, especially for the price. But I wasn't in love with it as I thought I would be. The biggest two down falls I have noticed with using this product, the screen protector is plastic...maybe the only way it can be made to be waterproof. Also the sound quality has drastically decreased when using the speaker function. Overall, it is light weight, and better looking then the other comparable cases.

This is a very solid and durable case without the hardcover or plastic feel of other cases. It's relatively thin so you don't get a bulky feeling with this cover. It's also water proof. What else do you need? Great solid protective cover my iPhone.

This is my second life proof case for iPhones in addition to a life proof case for my iPad. In my opinion, this is the best case available for both devices. I have small children and wouldn't want any other case to protect against drops, spills, etc.

I have dropped, thrown, tossed, chucked, fumbled, drown, buried, dumped, and let my phone tumble across a garage floor more times than I can count. And yet this life proof case has not let my phone get a scratch, dent or crack on it or water in it. I even took video underwater in a swimming pool just to prove to myself how awesome this case was. I can not recommend this case highly enough. Forget phone insurance, for $80 you can get peace of mind with this case.

I purchased this case in particular because I wanted something that was sleek and would protect the screen from scratches and cracks without having to purchase an additional screen protector. The fre is the one! This case keeps dirt from entering ports and seams. It is airtight which withstands moisture from humidity, splashes, and perspiration. it has a built in screen cover to protect the screen from dirt, fingerprints, and scratches. The case is very durable. For example, if you happen to drop your phone, the case won't pop off like some other case brands do. I love it!!!

My first life proof case lasted me about a year and a half and before it started falling apart,So now I'm on my second case but I will say "It did keep my phone in perfect condition "so I bought another one.Let's see how long this on will last

I love this case. It is a great fit and does not make the phone bulky. It makes my phone feel safe and protected from dropping, water, scratching, etc.

Great case, fits my iPhone 5s very well. The case is not bulky easy to fit phone in my pocket. Also provides great protection against accidental drops.

After trying many covers to keep my son's iPhone safe from drops, spills, and falls, this came in FIRST place. Others get cloudy or allow condensation inside to make it hard to read. This one protects and has a good seal. Good job!

I work is a marine construction environment. This case gives me complete piece of mind that my phone is safe and protected from my work environment. It has survived some falls and some rain without issue. Totally worth the piece of mind!
