Was for a much needed upgrade and I didn't want to spend a fortune on them, was looking at a netgear router around same price range, but employee suggested this one. I took his word and I have dealt with Linksys products before. I am very pleased. It pulls the speeds they are paying for finally. And it makes it better for me to use the WiFi over my own cell data there. If you need an upgrade on your router, and don't wanna spend a few hundred bucks, I highly recommend this one.

Not too bad in setting up............however still dealing with a spontaneous problem between PC/modem/router with a disconnect from time to time. Still trying to diagnose the problem

Laptop is performing faster than it was. It was very easy to install. The instructions were written clearly.

Our WiFi is so fast now using the 5.0Ghz. We are very pleased with the range. Laptop runs just as fast upstairs as downstairs.

Works great and has good range in older house. Had no troulbe setting up and changing configuration to suit client.

I like the manageability of the home network, allowing multiple access and limitations. Also able to connect an external drive that can be used by all on the network to backup files. Great speed in the 5 Ghz link, however the one drawback I encounter frequently is the shared external drive becomes inaccessible at times and requires a reboot of the router to regain access. Other than that it appears to work well.

This router is dual band and has an easy set-up. The app for it is easy to manage. Also comes with guest wifi

I'm not a heavy internet user but it works great. Set up not too bad either. People at best buy always very helpful and honest about products. They always have that extra time for the dumb questions I ask.

Very easy to get set up right out of the box. Very simple to navigate setup page. I bought this router as an extension to my Linksys AC3200, as an extra hub and extend the wifi. The Linksys routers automatically recognized each other and configures their non-conflicting IP addresses for you. Linksys routers tend be a little lacking in the wifi range category compared to some other brands but excels within that shorter range.

Replaced an older N format router with this at my mother's house. Good range and speed especially for the price.

Needed to replace my old, minimalist router after eight years. Tried the one recommended by the well-meaning sales associate. Found the installation and set-up process frustrating and ultimately reached a point beyond which I could not proceed. Exchanged for the Linksys item which installed smoothly and easily. Provide all the functionality I require; has performed flawlessly since day one.

The router was easy to set up but trying to go back and adjust settings has escaped me. The online instructions are not clear and/or do not work. A written manual does not seem to be available. This router does have greater range than the old one although I can't check the limit because there is snow on the ground.

I purchased this router for family members and we have been very well pleased. Great range and dependable too!
