We got random drops and issues streaming video through our Roku. After buying this router, we have great connections on all of our devices.

Your feedback means a lot to us and we hope you'll allow us to help you. Does the connection drop off on both wired and wireless? Make sure that you have a stable connection to your modem. You may also adjust the router’s wireless channel to avoid possible interference in your network. The recommended channels for the 2.4 GHz network are 1, 6, and 11 since they are considered non-overlapping channels. For the 5 GHz network, channels 36, 40, 44 and 48 are recommended.

I bought this router as an extension to my Linksys AC3200, as an extra hub and extend the wifi. The Linksys routers automatically recognized each other and configures their non-conflicting IP addresses for you. Linksys routers tend be a little lacking in the wifi range category compared to some other brands but excels within that shorter range.

Also able to connect an external drive that can be used by all on the network to backup files. Great speed in the 5 Ghz link, however the one drawback I encounter frequently is the shared external drive becomes inaccessible at times and requires a reboot of the router to regain access. Other than that it appears to work well.
