The Logitech G502 is by far my favorite mouse, the design and materials of this mouse is insane. The braided cable is really great so it doesn't get tangled easy, although the braided cord did feel a little loose. The overall fit of the mouse is perfect! The thumb button though did seem like it was a bit far from my thumb. My hand size is pretty average, but if you have a medium to small hand you should be perfect! The scrolling track wheel is so convenient, it can be scrolled slowly or forever with the new switch that allows you to free-wheel. Also has three side buttons to be programmed to your liking! The mouse has a lot of dpi settings/profile.

I moved to this mouse from a G700 laser mouse. The difference between the G700 laser sensor and the G502 optical sensor is astonishing! While driving tanks in battlefield 4 I would have to jack up the dpi on the G700, but not with the G502. I can actually keep the dpi the same throughout the whole game. The RGB lighting is a nice touch too. Software for the mouse is pretty straight forward and not cluttered like some other brands. Lastly, the buttons are very responsive and give a nice click feedback.

IMO this is the best gaming mouse on the market for the price (I got it for $50 on BLK Friday)! The adjustable weights make this mouse even better combined with a wide range of DPI settings to dial in on your preference

Pros: Optical sensor with 12,000 DPI No acceleration so far Solid build Great Software Smooth gliding mouse feet Cons: Only small con I can come up with is the scroll wheel. It slightly wobbles but that could be because its a free scroll+your normal traditional scroll wheel. Overall though, the mouse is awesome!

Worked great for month then started getting choppy, was most likely the bloatware added and my terrible luck with Logitech products.

    Good gaming mouse

I replaced my Razer DeathAdder with this Logitech. I am a big Razer fan and got years of use from the previous mouse, but started having issues with the camera flipping to looking up when gaming. Figured I'd give this mouse a chance as it was on sale and had such a high rating. Hand feel is great, and I like the weight as I prefer heavier mice. Having the additional weights that can be added was a nice bonus. Not a ton of buttons on the mouse itself. Three are by default used for DPI settings. You can download a nice little software control suite from Logitech website for customizing buttons, lighting and more. I was still having issues with the camera jerking around when playing and now feel it might be from my mouse pad. I used the tuning tool in the Logitech software and that seemed to help. I highly recommend you run that if you go with this mouse. I really appreciated this mouse when I got to work on Monday morning. I received my new mouse at home on a Friday and used it all weekend. Coming back to work and using a mouse that while wireless and laser, made me realize how smooth the Logitech is. Overall I'd give it a 4.5/5.

    Going Back To My Deathadder

I tried this mouse out of curiosity. I have a Deathadder 2013, which works well, but the higher DPI of this mouse attracted me. So I hooked this up. First thing I noticed, the wheel is clunky. You might get used to it, I found it just too distracting. Other than that, it seemed ok. Considering that a review is, by nature, subjective, I think the Deathadder is smoother. I've worn out one Razer, looks like I'll be doing it again. If you can handle the wheel on this mouse, you'll be fine.

This is simply the most accurate mouse ever made. It's extremely comfortable and easy to set the weight just right for your use. I love Logitech's software and was simply amazed at the accuracy and quality of the build. I've owned the G500s which I dropped for the Roccat Kone XTD, which was my favorite mouse ever until this G502 came along. The XTD was awesome due to the very solid accuracy and zero accel, but the G502 smokes it. After using a script I copied from the Logitech forums, I was able to map my DPI drop to the right-click, so when I am in BF4, for example, it auto-drops my DPI from my default 3400 to about 1600, making zoomed aiming a breeze.

    Excellent successor to the G9

I purchased this after reading about how similar this mouse was to the G9. I'm glad I did. This mouse improves upon all the features of the G9, and packages them in a nice shape. The mouse is comfortable, the weight can be adjusted, and it slides around very nicely. I'm not a big fan of the blue accent, but I'll survive. Logitech always makes reliable products, but the design of their gaming accessories is fairly tacky. Regardless, this is a solid mouse, and it's well worth the money.

Great mouse for FPS games or 3D content creation

    Posted .

This is a great mouse, but one that is rather limiting too. For instance, the default settings for the mouse uses the two pointer finger buttons for increasing and decreasing the DPI of the mouse. It's very easy to touch these buttons instead of actually clicking when playing games like Batman Arkham Knight or Counter Strike. Speaking of Counter Strike and other first person shooters (FPS# games, the sniper button on default settings is rather useless unless you move the mouse a huge distance. This is easily fixed though in the Logitech Gaming Software program that allows you to repurpose all buttons and the set the sniper button to trigger at a higher DPI than it automatically uses by default. The only real issue I have with this other than touching the DPI changing buttons, is that the LED lights are blue... I know this seems petty, but I also have the RGB LED lighted Logitech Orion Spark keyboard and the keyboard is rather nice on breathing mode #but can't match the speed of the breathing of the mouse easily) and the instance you start changing colors on it from the default blue, it throws your desktop off any color schemes you might use because the mouse isn't RGB light capable. Oh and the weights on the mouse are a great help. I prefer a very heavy mouse and this helped me get that feeling. It is good to have the weights in it. But the weights don't come out easily. In fact, I have to pry them out with a screwdriver since they fit so tightly into the mouse. I only wish this mouse had the MMO style buttons on it as well because I love the shape of it. OH. I use this mouse also for my 3D content creation work, and the sniper button comes in handy when you're trying to move things just a few millimeters. Most mice I've used in the past I had to manually adjust the DPI using the DPI buttons, but this I just use the sniper button to get to the lower DPI setting when I need it.

    Best Mouse Ever

Best mouse on the market. Hands down. I've owned three gaming mice (two now being a Logitech) and the feel is absolutely perfect. To put things into perspective, I play mainly league of legends and for those of you familiar with this MOBA, during my first game playing with this mouse I went 15-0 with Vayne in RANKED. #mechanics Just buy it. Totally worth the price.

One of the best gaming mouses ever owned

I've owned a few gaming mouse's like the RAT7, Miomix 7000 and this Logitech G502 really has nailed it with me. Comes with a highly precise analog optical sensor which is better than a laser. It fits my hand very well without any sharp edges like some mouse's. It's not too high or wide in the middle for a medium/large size hand and the contour is spot on smooth. It also comes with weights even though it's already weighted down okay without the weights. You can have three profiles, have solid or rotating colors. The software is easy to use and you don't have to save your setting in the cloud or online and having to create an account like some gaming manufactures have you do, then you have to hope that they are not down. I recommend this to anyone looking for a solid gaming mouse that's reasonably priced. This is truly engineered well and they paid attention and detail to each piece on the mouse.

I am not interested in Wired Mouses because of current PC setup, But i ended up buying this after the reviews and BF deal for 40$. This is an awesome mouse with the weight, DPI and profile customizational features. I felt that my FPS accuracy increased after using this mouse. The only wish i had is this mouse to be a RGB light, though the included Blue light can be tweaked for some cool effects but only with the blue color.

Excellent sensory. Well weighted (and adjustable at that.) The shape is quite ergonomic. However, unlike the left side of the mouse containing the DPI adjustments... The right side does not contain a small lip for your outside finger to rest on (pinky.) Due to my personal mouse grip (palm) my pinky often times will get stuck under the mouse when flick shooting to the right. This is a good mouse for someone that uses a claw grip/finger grip or has hands on the smaller side (females.) Pro's: consistent aiming, lag is null Con's: My poor little pinky gets pinched. Summary: Best optical sensor for gaming mice on market Female gamers delight. Claw/finger grip galore. Palm grip X.x R>I>P

I used to use a Steel Series Sensei. I like this guy better. The super fast scroll feature is great. The weights actually make a noticable difference in the feel of the mouse. The only gripe I have is that I occasionaly press the DPI switch buttons on accident. But it is easy enough to switch back and that feature can be disabled in games so it doesnt happen in an important moment.

This mouse has adjustable weights and dpi which means you can make it faster or slower with a button press. Super helpful if you have a 27" monitor or multiple monitors. The back button is great for internet usage and the wheel can spin with clicks or spin freely with a button press which makes internet viewing easy while spreadsheet viewing is more precise in scrolling.

I had a cooler master Xornet ii and it lasted me around 5 years and it was built like a brick. I pushed it through a few MMOs until the middle wheel broke and it felt like a good time to upgrade. I just received this mouse and already, it is doing things above my expectations. I would suggest putting all the weights in it to make it feel solid. Pros: • Price • Feels nice and heavy • Rubber grips on each side ++ • Plenty of buttons to program • Software is gives you endless possibilities Cons: • Wish it were a wider • Easily exposed to dust due to extra buttons Overall, this has more ups than downs. Its short comings do not impact its overall score and I would definitely recommend this mouse to anyone.

Pros: - Dynamic DPI switching - Weights for balance - It's wired - Cheaper and much better than Razer Ouroboros - Excellent optical sensor - Very comfortable Cons: -The DPI scaling buttons are in a weird spot just beside the Left-Click button, and if you're not paying attention, you could click one accidentally. - Not many games supported in the software
