One of the best wired mice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was debating between this and the G700, ended up buying both and having to return the G700. The G502 might be wired but its hands down way better, its light, the buttons are better, and even for a non-claw grip player its fantastic!

Finally
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.a mouse I feel good about. I bought the MX1100 a few years ago (with the Wave Keyboard), but never managed to use them enough. The Wave wasn't ergonomic enough and the MX1100 had intermittent connection issues with the Wireless USB Receiver. I didn't give up on Logitech, however, I'm still using a mouse for the laptop and LOVE my speaker system (Z-5500 Digital). So I went on customer reviews for this mouse and actually breathed a sigh of release, after my first surface calibration. Love this mouse.

Highly customizable... but kind of small.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a G400, this mouse feels small and the three side buttons (the "sniper" button and the two keys above it) feel awkwardly placed. My hand naturally wants to rest my thumb over that sniper button alway towards the front of the thumb rest area, but hitting the G5 and G4 keys requires that I either pull my hand back off the mouse a bit, or bend my thumb back in a way that does not feel particularly natural to me. I also noticed that the scroll well feels awkwardly heavy, and it does not always register when I click it. It might feel better for people who prefer a smaller profile mouse but for me, the G400 has a much better feel. The customization options are very nice but they don't do me much good because the mouse itself does not fit my hand as well as I would like. Four stars solely because of that, for otherwise it is a solid gaming mouse.

Scroll too loose, software needs more usability
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Their software to set it up (Mac) could use more work. If you try to use mission control as a button, the software doesn't actually check to see what the keyboard shortcut for mission control is, meaning you must set it back to the default setting. As far as the mouse itself, its great except for the scroll wheel, I thought I would like it, but its too noisy and doesn't feel right when you get to the end of a scroll. I thought the free spin feature of the scroll wheel would be useful, however it is not and just makes it feel over-engineered.

Great mouse except for one feature.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this mouse all day today, and there's only one real thing that bothers me about it. The scroll wheel is horrible. It's super loose and you can easily scroll to the bottom of a page without intending to. Other than that, the mouse is perfect. It's comfortable and is aesthetically pleasing.

Great DPI settings, customizable, great price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse is everything a budget gamer needs: Customizable buttons Easy to switch DPI profiles Nice feeling scroll wheel And the small RGB is a nice bonus. For the price I got it at, it's definitely holding up as a great mouse at a good cost.

Awesome gaming mouse!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased this mouse to replace a old Alienware mouse. I love, love, love this mouse. I'm not going to write a long review. It feels really premium and love the weights you can add to it. I also the fact that it's RGB. :)

4.9 Stars!! Highly Recommended
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm sure there are lighter mice out there, but this isn't overly heavy. I'd say it's about a 2% weight reduction compared to the Razer Naga MMO mouse that has 12 buttons. The weight is more evenly distribute as well with the weight being closer to the center of the mouse rather than the rear as it is with the Razer Naga. The only complaint that I really have is the button that changes the scroll wheel from a tactile feel to free spinning. The release button should be swapped with the button below it so you don't have to rep position your index finger. I know it's nit picking, but just something that I prefer. I would like to state that if you do have a palm grip style and you've got average hands, this will fit you nicely. It's the people that are like 6'5 that seem to have issues with the size of the mouse. When I first saw the mouse button layout, I thought it would be disastrous to put two buttons on the same location at the left click, but surprisingly my finger stays out the way. However, if you're accustom to angling your index finger to the left, you'll have to take some time to retrain your resting position. Normally I don't say this because Best Buy normally upcharges everything in their store, but in this case buy it from Best Buy rather than Walmart. It's currently on sale at this date and time of April 1st, 2017 for $59.99 and on display, so that you can feel it for yourself. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the full feeling of it while I was there because of the security wire, but it was enough information to give me a decision. I now have a primary replacement mouse for gaming.

Good, but not a Performance MX
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to try the G502 mouse to get away from a wireless mouse. For most users, this mouse will plain rock. The software features are quite a bit more extensive than I've used. I like the look, texture, and general feel of the mouse. The one drawback for me is the thumb hold. My grip style is better suited to the Logitech Performance MX, as it has a deeper thumb hold. In order to lift and move the mouse, I have to grip the G502 much harder. That doesn't go well with extended gaming sessions. I have used a Logitech Performance MX for many years, and will most likely forego the minor performance increase of a wired mouse to return to the wireless Performance MX.

Logitech G502
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Proteus is a good mouse but it's best for smaller hands. My are big so doesn't work out quite as well. I mainly got this because it gave me a $50 steam card which I gave to my son.

Bye Razer, Hello Logitech!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This logitech mouse is great! No doubt this g502 is better than deathadder (for me). I'm a deathadder user before i purchased this (actually 2 deathadder). The weights that includes on this product is very useful for any games and the shape of this mouse is perfect for my small hands.

Excellent Mouse for Gaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse is perfect for gaming or casual usage. The dpi is incredible and you can add or remove weights to get the feel you want. I have bought this mouse twice now and I will probably buy a third if this one ever goes dead.

Excellent mouse — could be a little bit bigger
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do not game that often, but I do use my laptop a whole lot, and the multitude of buttons helps me get around much quicker without the need for a keyboard. The design screams gaming, but that's a relatively minor issue. My only problem is that because there are so many buttons, I sometimes unintentionally click some of the ones on the side.

Excellent Gaming Mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The G502 is an awesome gaming mouse but there are two big things about the mouse that stand out to me. The first is how comfortable the mouse is to use. All of my previous mice have been of the extremely small mobile variety and were never very comfortable to use for a long period of time. This mouse is larger and is designed for those with a palm grip. It also sports a contoured left side so that your thumb has a place to rest on the mouse. The second big feature that stands out to me is the number of buttons on the mouse and what you're able to do with them. Every button on the mouse (including the left, right, and middle clicks) can be mapped to do whatever you want on a per application basis in the Logitech gaming software. This includes simple key presses and key combinations all the way to complex multi-key commands where you can literally record hundreds of key presses and even adjust the timing between presses and the amount of time a key can be held down. The buttons can also be mapped to launch programs as well as execute LUA scripts. This has not only been useful while gaming but has also saved me a lot of time in my programming work as well. I can keep common boilerplate code mapped to the mouse buttons so that all I have to do is hit a button and it'll type in all the code I need for things like for loops and while loops. The other features like the adjustable weights and the lighting are nice little extras but it's the customizability of the G502 that makes it an awesome mouse to have. The only downside to the mouse is the price. At the time of writing this review the price of the G502 is $79.99 which will put this mouse out of the range of what most people are willing to spend on a mouse. However, if you use a computer a lot and can benefit from the programmable keys, then it's definitely worth consideration.

Best overall gaming mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best general gaming mouse on the market right now. The optical sensor is precise and extremely responsive. Ergonomics are great for medium to small hands for both palm and claw grip. I prefer a more minimalist design so I was a little skeptical but the mouse is very comfortable and button placement is just right. I use for navigating spreadsheets, SC2 and FPS games. The optical sensor is perfect for FPS games; laser sensors just don't have the precision and responsiveness than optical sensors have. Has all the options I want but not too much. I prefer function over looks but it looks great too! Tom's Hardware rated this the best overall, general purpose mouse for 2016 and I fully agree!
