Good, but too sensitive for me.

I'm just a casual gamer, not hardcore or anything. I did buy this mouse after feeling it out in the store and it was a super comfortable mouse. I have small hands and I love the button placements. However, it was way too sensitive for me even after putting it on the lowest settings so I did return it. Personal preference, nothing against the mouse itself.

This mouse is perfect for big hands and fps games because it has a dpi setting up to 12000 and there is also the RGB lighting which is a nice touch to this mouse!

Really great mouse. Feels awesome. I love that you can change the weights in it. Higher weight for fps games, lower for rpg. The mouse feels really nice to play tih.

It gives you the option to put weights on the bottom and you are also able to swerve as much as you like. You are also able to stop when you actually need to.

    Awesome Gaming Mouse

I replaced my Logitech G9x with this. I play BF4. The on the fly DPI adjustment helps me shake boogies in the jet. Feels good. The "tuneable" settings didn't really work that well. Price was ok. I am brand loyal to Logitech. Been gaming for 20 years....

I am a big fan of this mouse. I'm coming from the Logitech Wireless G700s and I liked that mouse but... the G502 just feels better and despite being wired I never get cable drag(not worrying about battery levels is nice bc G700s was a battery killer).

    Awesome upgrade

This mouse is pretty impressive. I replaced an older G500 and was not too sure about seeing any improvements but I was wrong. This mouse has an option to choose what type of mouse pad you are using or you can do custom and it will go through a tuning process to set the best speeds. I couldn't believe how smooth it is compared to the G500 and with the tuning it makes it much more responsive without me having to mess with the tracking speeds. Awesome mouse would highly recommend it. Size wise it fits nicely, I have smaller hands (not too small) and it fits very well.

Overall very good, but terrible scroll wheel

Overall I like the mouse. It fits well in my hand, tracks very smoothly, the clicks are nice (clicky, but not too loud), and I especially like the customization of the various buttons. One thing I absolutely do not like though is the scroll wheel, at least in click-stop mode. In that mode the wheel is almost impossible to use smoothly. It's a slick metal wheel so there is nothing for your finger to grab onto. And the action is so firm that you really have to put some relative muscle behind it to get the wheel to turn. Pushing the wheel forward without your finger slipping is an exercise in frustration. I think this is the only mouse I have ever seen without a rubberized wheel. Terrible design decision. So I have to use the wheel in infinite spin mode, which I'll get used to. Overall though I dig it. It's my first high-end mouse, so I guess I'll if it was worth the bucks in the long-run.

Hands-down the best computer mouse for your money!

With the G502 Proteus Core, Logitech has managed to destroy the competition with this mouse, winning over its target audience; PC gamers, content creators, and web surfers alike. This mouse not only looks great, but is an extremely comfortable device which adjusts to almost every user via profile saves (Logitech G software/firmware) and have its weight easily adjusted by the implementation of configurable weights on the bottom. In addition to the varied mouse button layout (FPS fans will love the sniper side-button) and sweat resistant rubber casing/grips, Logitech has given us a very durable non-plastic (aluminum finish) scroll wheel that is a dream to use in general web surfing and document editing situations; especially with a button that locks the wheel from spinning endlessly (for those large spreadsheets or bad vertical websites). The only negative here is that the Proteus Core (itself being a corded mouse), carries the price of a high-end cordless gaming mouse. Price aside, do yourself a favor and buy yourself this mouse! The ergonomic comfort and feature set offered in this package is worth every penny! Still to this day, buying the Proteus Core has been the best purchase I have made for my gaming and productivity needs in the last 10 years.

This is my favorite gaming mouse

If you're in the market for a gaming mouse, the Logitech g502 is a lovely option for both beginners and more advanced pc gamers. It fits perfectly in my hand and has removable weights so you can get a custom feel to the mouse. The cord is wrapped in fabric which keeps it from getting all sorts of tangled. I have had problems with other brands of gaming mice sticking, this one did not do that. This is by far my favorite gaming mouse and I would recommed it to anyone needing a nice high end mouse.

    wow, this mouse is terrible

Ignore the positive reviews. Either those people have never used a quality gaming mouse or just literally have no idea what they are talking about. The scroll wheel is awful, so slippery you can forget about moving it to the right or left with any sort of accuracy. And when you do end up moving it the force required to actually grip it generally causes a click. Also it grabs at my mousepad. if you look at the bottom of the mouse it only essentially has 3 of the 4 sides covered with sliders. Want to try and guess where it grips the mouse pad? also this thing is SMALL... like for baby hands small. I will be returning it.

I had done some research prior to purchasing this mouse. It came highly recommended for gaming being an all purpose gaming mouse. I use it for FPS and it is the best mouse I have had. It tracks extremely well and the customization is unreal. You can tweak almost every imaginable setting allowing you to have it fit your specific needs. I would highly recommend this mouse to any gamer and the price is pretty reasonable for what you are getting

    Great Gaming Mouse for PC

This mouse works great for gaming, the Logitech software it uses to assign buttons is very simple to use. My one problem is that when I connect it to my MacBook, I cannot assign Mouse Button 4 and Mouse Button 5 to any of the buttons. The default setting for the thumb buttons in Windows work correctly as Mouse Button 4 and Mouse Button 5, but not on OSX.

This is a wired mouse. Probably the best offer with a wire. Fits my hand perfectly. Nice to test this out a t the store. I only buy Logitech. They hold up to my abuse.

Picked this mouse up to day because it looked really cool and I was replacing a G500. Sadly this mouse is to small. I'm 6'4" with big hands and using this mouse for a short amount of time gaming leaves me with a great deal of pain in my mouse hand. This is because it is to small to fit in my hand and use the buttons. It's a shame because I like the buttons and really like the sniper thumb button.

This is a high quality mouse that moves the pointer on my computer screen when I manipulate it accordingly. It is heavy, which is the sign of quality, and the cord that runs from the mouse to the computer is protected against ultraviolet radiation, which I understand interferes with mouse data transmission. I would buy this mouse if I were someone who had not yet bought this mouse.
