Oh wow, this mouse is better than expected.

Bought this for my brother and he loves it, and I totally agree with that sentiment from what I handled so far. This mouse is replacing his Performance MX and while we both prefer "non-gaudy", "professional-looking" mice, the G502 looks a lot better than its photos. The shape is not exactly perfect but it's a great fit for our hands, the clicks are satisfying, the metal scrollwheel looks and feels great (it takes a tiny amount time to get used to the wheel's weight though). The adjustable weights are hidden by a neat magnetic cover and the sensor (DPI and lift!) is adjustable too. The DPI-shift and G-shift are also really neat features. Don't care for the lighting gimmick, thank goodness that's adjustable. Finally, we can't live without the hyper-scroll feature, this is mainly why we keep going back to Logitech mice. The mouse is not perfect but it's darn close--If only the body was a tad wider and the mouse came with a detachable cable (like the G700 and the Performance MX) to enable a wireless mode. I currently have a working G700 and I'm considering getting a G502 as a replacement now!

It's everything it promised to be so far.

It's been about a month since I purchased this mouse and so far it has done everything perfectly fine. I had one hiccup with it's laser and the problem fixed itself once I opened up Logitech Gaming Software which is also a very innovate program. My only grip so far is that I wish the color could change with my keyboard as it does with my headset, but that is so minor.

Very please with this purchase. Simple to install after downloading the software from Logitech. Love the ability to customize the lighting. May not be for everyone but go to Best Buy and demo the look/feel in the keyboard/mouse section to see if this is a good fit for you. I for one, highly recommend it. Highly functional and can be customized to your liking.

Had an older Logitech mouse, never had issues but it was time to upgrade. This mouse goes awesome with the G810 Logitech keyboard. Set it up to glow like the keyboard makes the room look nice. On the fly adjustments and three setting via button to quick change profiles is great for various games. Good buy, get one.

    Better than Razer

As an avid gamer, I had a cheap logitech mouse last me for 2 years. There was a lot of hype around Razer products so I decided to give them a try. I had 2 of 3 razer kbs and 1 of 2 razer mice go bad in a period of a few months. Back to Logitech and this mouse OWNS. Highly recommend this product.

Great mouse, bought to replace my not 1 year old Razer Naga that has been disconnecting it self randomly. Super fast.accurate and smooth. Adding weights is nice but i think everyone loads in all of them anyway. Got for work(designer) and play (gamer)

Hasn't changed in years and its still rated as a top 10 mouse. I wonder what Logitech will come up with next as a replacement. Lower G versions are too light for my style of gameplay. Adjustable weights are always a bonus.

The G502 spectrum is the most comfortable mouse I've used. Buttons actuate with a satisfying click, he side scroll function on the scroll wheel is super useful, as is the free scroll mode. Software is a little clunky, but that's a minor detail.

    Great gaming mouse

This mouse replaces my 11 year old Logitech MX518 (bad cord), so the G502 had some big shoes to fill. Logitech makes very durable and precise gaming mice. The G502 carries on that tradition nicely. It fits well in my average size hand and is comfy. Tracking is accurate on my generic old mouse pad. I like the ability to store three different gaming profiles, and the "sniper" button for the thumb works like magic. That thumb button was my biggest concern with this mouse. I was afraid I would accidentally press it, but the thumb rest keeps that button just at the very end of my thumb, so no accidental presses yet. The buttons all feel sturdy and are easy to reach and press...except for the buttons that default to DPI adjust. Those feel weak. The weighted scroll wheel will continue to spin if you flick the wheel quickly. It'll spin even longer if the "clicker" is disengaged. I've not found a good reason to do this, but I'm sure someone will find it useful. Of course the lighting rocks, but adds nothing to the gameplay. The braided cord is pretty sweet and should help protect the cable from abrasions from the edge of the desk. I like the mouse fully loaded with all the weights. It glides easy, yet the weight keeps inadvertent movement to a minimum. A superb mouse so far, and would be a solid 5 stars of I didn't have a concern about those DPI adjust buttons. Based on my previous experience with Logitech mice, I expect the G502 to last many years.

The mouse is great and the color scheme also matches the Logitech G710 keyboard I bought seperately (which is a side bonus). The software also works for the keyboard as well (only a single software install needed for both devices).

This is an excellent wired gaming mouse. It has ll the features you would want in a gaming mouse. Good feel and fit in hand and quality construction from Logitech. The quick switchable dpi button is a great feature.

Comfort, ease of use and precision are three adjectives that come to mind when describing the G502. I highly recommend this mouse for both gaming and productivity. Check out some of its strengths and weaknesses: Strengths: * Ergonomic feel with effective placement of left programable mouse buttons * Grips on the side allow for secure grip when lifting the mouse * Customizable weights allow for balance tuning to any preference * Dual-mode hyperfast scroll wheel allows you to fly through long web pages and documents Weaknesses: * There are only three lighting options (one solid color, color cycle, breathing effect) while other brand's RGB products have many more lighting options * The Logitech Gaming Software can be buggy at times
