This mouse is legendary. Runs smooth and has a nice weight to it. The LEDs are nice and it's easy to change the sensitivity around.

Great gaming mouse! Or great e-mail checking mouse! I have rather large hands, so I was curious about this mouse. I went into my local Best Buy to test "drive" one. I was impressed. I prefer a heavy mouse, so I used all of the included weights. It feels great in my hand and it makes me more attractive to single ladies. Must buy if you have large hands!

I was looking to upgrade an older Logitech mouse. Did some research and decided on either this or the Razer Naga Chroma. Went with this one and was not disappointed. Easy setup via built-in software. Easy customization via the same software. This mouse does tend to be on the lighter side, but not a problem since you can customize via the included weights.

I purchased this mouse to replace my dying Logitech G700, which lasted me nearly 7 years. Overall the mouse is smooth, clicky, and responsive. I preferred the textured scroll wheel on the G700, however this one is not bad. The adjustable weights is a very nice touch, and the RGB lights are not a necessity but a nice bonus to match any setup.

I had to get used to using this mouse as it is smaller than my other gaming mouse. If you have big hands try it out in store 1st. It took some getting used to the size but now I love it. I would say that I have medium sized hands. You can also change the weight to give it more precise movements to your liking.

The mouse is great, I like the fact that i can customize the weight and all the buttons. The only problem I have with it is the fact that it is wired, I would like Logitech to do the same thing but give me the availability to choose between wired and wireless.

Comfortable in hand. And love the interface customization with the ability to remap the buttons and change the rgb lights. Also love the ability to add weights to create the perfect feel based on your preferences. Nice quality braided cable for durability. This mouse if good for games, productivity or just browsing the internet.

This is the the best value gaming mouse out there. Super adjustable weight and programmable via software. Logitech's software is the most stable and they update it frequently. Tracks great in games and I've had no issues with it in the 1.5 years I've owned it (daily use). Ended up buying two more.

I'm actually not a gamer - I'm a cloud based accountant working with 4 monitors. I love the comfort and pinpoint accuracy of the mouse and the ability to customize the buttons. Very user friendly setup. They also give you weights that you insert into the mouse that let's you customize the feel. I bought one for each employee. They all love it.

The G502 platform mouse from Logitech (I say "platform" because there are 3 variations: Proteus Core, Proteus Spectrum, and Proteus Hero) is actually the most recent release of a design dating back 15 years ago with the Logitech MX510 (and its immediate successor, the MX518). The original versions were some of the best-reviewed gaming mice on the market, and even today in late 2018 I've found extremely positive reviews on YouTube of the ORIGINAL mouse. In this modern G502 remake, the shape, button layout, and overall feel have been kept the same while adding new features like customized weighting and higher resolution optics (the Core and Spectrum versions have an insane 12,000 dpi resolution, and the newest Hero version includes Logitech's brand new Hero sensor for 16,000 dpi). In-game performance is still absolutely flawless thanks both to the high-end optics as well as the wired connectivity to eliminate signal delay. I recommend this mouse to everyone, gamer or office professional or home hobbyist. I have 3 currently, but have owned every generation Logitech has released.

I used to game with generic nice that were worth $20. And I was somewhat skeptical about how much of an improvement this was over other mice. I can tell you it is hugely different. It not only feels great, but it’s high dpi, unlockable scroll wheel, and changeable weights make it one of my favorite mice out there.

I have a G700 that was my favorite previously but bought the G502 Proteus Spectrum on sale and loved it instantly. I picked this G502 Proteus Core up during the Black Friday sale so I could have one at work and at home. For anyone wondering, the only difference between the Spectrum and the Core is color. The Spectrum is black where the Core has the blue stripe on the thumb rest and the Spectrum has an RGB light in the G while the Core's light is just blue. Everything else is the same.
