Best Mic I have had so far!!!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried many different types of mics whether it be one through a headset or a wireless one. This one though has got to be one of the best and most versatile mics for a PC setup that I have ever had! It is super easy to set up as well just plug it in update the software and you're good to go! It sounds so clear when I record videos and stream, I highly recommend getting this mic.

Logitech doesn’t disappoint.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.tl;dr High quality mic with easy setup and integration. You should probably get a boom arm for the best experience. This is a really good product that’s built well and does what it should. Ideally, you need to be inside of 2 feet from the mic for it to sound the best for listeners, but it does work when you’re further away. The gain control and clipping LED on the gain wheel are nice touches. Makes tweaking the sound a breeze on the fly. As always, Logitech LEDs look beautiful and have a nice glow without being crazy. Using G Hub helps fine-tune all those little details that you sometimes worry about for your audience. Works well with all my apps and games. My only “complaint” is that I need to get a boom arm so I can get the mic in a more consistent location so it’s close enough to sound the best. Real happy so far.

Logi Yeti GX Crystal Clear Clarity
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From the get-go, I've got to say, the Logitech Yeti GX feels like a serious gaming microphone. Right out of the box, it comes with a USB-C connector that’s a breeze to hook up. Need a swing arm stand for your setup? No worries! The Yeti GX also features a connector for that. Build quality is solid and stable. The Yeti GX showcases two RGB areas that provide dynamic lighting. I've had the privilege of changing up the lights to my mood and, honestly, it's a bit of fun. Alongside that, there's an easily accessible gain dial and a mute button. I can't stress how handy the mute button is for those unexpected interruptions! One thing that genuinely impresses me is the build of this mic. It's a sturdy little beast, weighing in just right, and its compact form of less than 6 inches makes it a nice looking addition to my setup. Plus, it's rather eye-catching, earning a few compliments from family and friends. Now, setup might be a deal-breaker for many, and believe me when I say, the Yeti GX is an absolute winner. Windows had it recognized straight away, and I was off to the races in about a minute! As for its audio performance - sublime. In my understanding, a Supercardioid mic is very good at isolating the sound of your voice and eliminating background noises. It's like this mic has selective hearing excellence. Regardless of the surrounding keyboard hustle or mouse clicks, the Yeti GX focused only on my voice. People I’ve spoken to said they could hear me crystal clear. Plus, there were zero static or white noise issues; muting the mic was like hitting a superhuman ‘pause’ on sound—completely silent. There was one teeny-tiny nitpick though - the sound scaling wheel didn't make a world of difference. Whether I cranked it up or nudged it down, I sounded pretty much the same. The position adjuster just stays put, holding its pose like a champ. I’ve tested this baby out in different audio calling and gaming scenarios, including rounds of Discord chats, heated sessions on R6 Siege, Valorant, and Apex. Across the board, every experience was satisfyingly smooth. All of my friends were impressed with the sound quality. In a nutshell, I’m a fan and think it's a fantastic gaming mic. If you're a gamer, a streamer, or a content creator like me, give this microphone a whirl. You won't be disappointed. Compared to my previous mics, this one is in a class by itself.

Form and function in one neat little package
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech Yeti GX is a microphone with a premium look and feel, offering an intuitive plug-and-play experience and a setup process to install on either a boom arm or the included stand that is dead easy - just screw it in! I can easily say this is a device that even a beginner who is unfamiliar with using mics would be able to get up and going within five minutes, maybe ten if you factor in installing the G Hub software to customize and tweak settings. On my Windows 11 machine, doing so was pretty painless - though I have seen some Mac users have issues with G Hub's software, so your mileage may vary. At a glance, it's pretty obvious that the Yeti GX is oriented to gamers, content creators, and streamers - the RGB is hard to ignore, but it doesn't detract from the sleek and modern look at all. It's also highly customizable, with the ability to add animations and individually change the RGB light ring on the bottom of the mic and the lights on the G logo. I appreciated being able to add my own effects, though I did find that the G Hub software could have a bit of a learning curve as far as creating animations. It didn't take long to figure it out, and I would rather have it than not — but it's worth noting that if you're not used to doing that, it might take a little bit to work it out. The degree of customizability would likely be especially appreciated by content creators and streamers who want to add a little oomph to mic setups and add visual interest by perhaps adding your signature colors or even just having a neat "breathing" light effect in the background. I stream occasionally without a camera but still enjoyed the RGB lighting effects for my own sake; if something has to sit on your desk anyways, why not have it look cool? I also really liked the build quality of this mic. It feels solid and hefty, giving it a "premium" vibe. The ability to mount it on either the stand or a (not included, obviously) boom arm adds flexibility that is nice to see. The included scroll wheel having different status lights is handy, but beyond that, I didn't find myself using it. Other users might find it more helpful. Again, it's a feature that I would rather have than not. As a disclaimer, I'm not an audiophile nor am I familiar with high-end audio equipment. That said, I personally perceive the audio quality as quite good, especially when using the G Hub software to tune certain settings to my liking. The voice filters in G Hub are fun to mess around with, though after the novelty wore off there was limited utility for myself. The sound is clear and crisp, and in my opinion, it would be more than adequate for streaming, gaming, and discord/zoom calls. It's miles ahead of my headset and Airpods' mic, and even though I found it a bit overkill for casual gaming sessions with friends, it does sound nicer than using a terrible mic that picks up every background sound it can. That isn't to say that the Yeti GX blocks out all background noise. It did a decent job of minimizing my keyboard and mouse, and to be fair I do use a mechanical keyboard so the clacks can be a little loud, but I could still more or less hear my keyboard plus occasional mouse clicks in the background when I tested it. To the Yeti GX's credit, they were still somewhat softer than they are in person, and adjusting the mic position might help minimize them even further. Overall I feel the Yeti GX offers a nice experience for the right person. It might be a touch excessive for casual gamers wanting something for discord calls or in-game chats, but there is still value to be had, and the build quality and RGB lighting might be enough to still make it worth it for casual users anyways to elevate their gaming setups. This mic is definitely moreso aimed at streamers and content creators though, and this mic provides good audio quality with ease of use without an intimidating setup process. For the more casual streamer who wants something that sounds nice, looks cool, and is easy to set up and use, I think this mic is a fantastic recommendation.

Excellent sound quality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never knew how much a dedicated microphone can have such a huge impact on my videos. Logitech made an excellent mic with this Yeti GX. Granted I would either use my S23 Ultra or my GoPro and never had complaints about sound quality, but as soon as I listened when using the Yeti, the difference was clearly night and day. In the box is the Mic, Stand, an adapter (screw) if you want to use a boom arm, and a the USB cable. Setup is rather easy since it is just plug and play. I already use the G Hub software for my G502 gaming mouse and the PC instantly picked up the mic and was ready to go. The G Hub app is used for tweaking the RGB on the mic but I left it blue as that's my favorite color. It's just for looks and I am not staring at the Yeti when I am creating content. Sound quality is amazing. Crisp and clear sound even without a 3rd party pop filter. Even when gaming there were no complaints at all. As this is the first time using a dedicated mic, I was blown away at what I was missing and how 1 thing can make such a huge impact on content creation. If you are in the market, don't pass up the Logitech Yeti GX. You will thank yourself.

Used for poetry.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unlike most I didn’t buy this microphone for gaming but mostly for spoken voice. I was very impressed how great it sounded while using garage band app. The microphone itself was easy to set up on my Mac book and looked amazing. Love the illumination and available lighting sequences. It’s also very easy to put in a bag and take with you. I take it to a studio office with my Mac and it’s so convenient. As far as gaming it comes in handy especially since my headphones don’t come with a mic so that is a huge plus as well. The microphone is made well feels sturdy but like I mentioned it is also light. It is very good at focusing on your voice from what I noticed as it seemed like it did not pick up on some sounds from the environment which I was wondering if it would. Price point is where you would expect, and another plus is if you own more Logitech products and want to sync up the lights. Overall for me it works flawlessly and is a nice addition to my blogs or poetry readings and occasional gaming.

Mighty Mini Mic
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech G Yeti GX is really nice looking microphone for game streaming/content creating which reduces exterior noise and adds a ton of adjustment capabilities to help you create with a personal touch. The Yeti GX is very clean small mic with 2 physical buttons , one for the gain of your voice and the other to mute, and has a great overall heft to it. The way the mic is designed is for you to speak in front/over the top of the mic which helps reduce other noises from going into your game stream/content creation (key clicking/mouse presses showed up very light in recordings with the out of box setting but you can increase noise reduction to remove small noises if you choose). Voice quality is very clear on the Yeti GX even if you turn up the gain , I wouldn’t go as far to say its something a professional would use for music production though. What I think puts the Yeti GX ahead of many of its competitors is the number of adjustments and how simple they can be made. The Logitech G hub app has a clean layout and the Blue voice filters & effects tool makes adjustments a breeze which carry over to any platform you may use to cast your voice and gets rid of most distortions. Now there is a lot in the Logitech G hub application so it could be a bit much/overwhelming but if you take some time to understand it will make everything worth it. I love the fact that you can download settings/profiles used by other individuals for their voice and just adjust those if needed. Overall I think this is a great mic that is well built and the RBG lighting helps give it your own personal touch. The amount of adjustments and features in the Logitech G hub application is mind boggling and there are very little complaints. Logitech G Yeti GX is perfect for gamers and entry level podcaster/vlogs.

Jettisons the flash for great audio performance!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little gem from Logitech has just enough RGB bling to look “gamer-oriented,” but otherwise, it’s a pretty nondescript, slightly ordinary-looking microphone that you might be tempted to move right past for something showier and flashier that caught your eye. But if you did pass by the Yeti GX, you’d be missing out on some really outstanding performance hidden underneath that otherwise unassuming exterior. Of course, the big draw here is the fact that the Yeti GX features a dynamic microphone capsule--rather than a condenser—a design that is best suited for the purposes of picking up exactly what it’s pointing at while rejecting a variety of adjacent/surrounding background noise. This makes the GX particularly well-suited for streamers or solo gamers who care about the quality of their audio but may be recording/capturing their voice in a somewhat noisy environment. In practice, I can attest to the fact that the GX’s design works very well as advertised. In my sampling and creating of some video dubs, I could clearly tell that the GX was attenuating (though obviously not totally eliminating) some of the background and room noise that my 3-condenser mic was otherwise picking up on similar recordings. And especially when placed a bit closer to me, and angled even more directly at my mouth (which I had to remember to do as dynamic mics aren’t as sensitive as condensers to sound coming from just…anywhere), the resultant voice-over sounded very clean and, dare I say, even broadcast quality. Logitech did well to deliver on the promise of a “premium” yet still gaming-oriented mic, at least in terms of the performance areas that (arguably) matter most. Technical specifications are WAY better than just adequate with 24bit/96KHz sampling which is more than enough for outstanding audio capture for gaming or voice-over applications. My guess is you wouldn’t really need a mic with 192KHz resolution unless you wanted to record something like the very delicate and complex nuances of an incredibly high-quality musical instrument…but that doesn’t seem to be the target demographic/use case for the Yeti GX anyway. There is a physical mute button below the lighted gain dial; it does register a slight noise when pressed, but it’s more of a dull pressure-button “thud” than a hard switch-type “click” so you don’t get a lot of extraneous noise when muting/unmuting. The gain dial turns red when muted which is a nice visual indicator of mic status. The main gain dial also provides feedback cues while in use—white for powered on, green when actively capturing audio, flashing red if the gain is set high enough to start clipping or distorting (definitely a nice feature when you’re setting and forgetting audio levels), and cyan blue when Smart Audio Lock is enabled. Smart Audio Lock adds some additional audio processing into the mix after you’ve got the gain set where you want it; once you click the gain wheel, the mic works to dynamically adjust and readjust gain if necessary to hold levels steady--nice! Construction feels solid with a reasonably heavy desk stand included, though I would have loved something just a bit taller to help get the mic just a tad closer to my head. Logitech also includes a stepped boom/stand adapter that accepts 3/8” and 5/8” threads. The bottom offers up a USB-C port for the 2m USB-C to USB-A cable included. The top half of the mic is covered with a reassuringly thick foam windscreen while all the controls and displays are on the lower half. On the side opposite the mute and gain controls is an RGB Logitech “G” logo; an RGB light ring encircles the bottom. You can adjust the illumination and lighting patterns (or turn them off entirely) using LIGHTSYNC in the GHub companion app. Speaking of GHub, Logitech has come a long way with this app over the years, and the Yeti GX opens up a universe of OCD-level adjustments, tweaks, and features in a fairly user-friendly interface. Aside from lighting options for the RGB logo and bottom ring, the mic options enabled in the “Blue Voice” adjustments are extensive including precise numerical displays of input gain and master output level, high-pass filter adjustments from 20-400Hz, 3 voice EQ sliders that allow you to customize both center frequency and Q factor for low, mid, and high band signals, as well as six “Signal Cleanup” adjustments for noise reduction, noise gate setting, dynamic range compression, de-essing, de-popping, and a signal limiter. In addition to these various prosumer-level adjustments, Logitech also packs in some fun effects for voice modulation that can make you sound like anything from an alien to a demon to a robot, as well as a library of samples and sound effects/audio backgrounds like an air raid horn, haunted house, laser blasts, underwater sounds, etc. I’m not sure who the target audience is for these little embellishments, especially if you’re just a gamer, but I can see younger content creators having a good time with them. As a “premium” microphone, the only other obvious thing I can think of that would really push the Yeti GX over the top is an AUX/headphone monitor jack on the mic itself. My other 3-condenser desk-stand mic has an AUX jack on the bottom and I found it useful once in a while when I wanted to wear headphones during recording so I could monitor how everything sounded in the mix. But that is definitely picking nits at this point. Otherwise, the Logitech Yeti GX is simply an outstanding performer that will well and faithfully serve gamers, streamers, and budding content creators…highly recommended!
