    Very cool that you can turn an ordinary light switch into a smart light switch. Instruction and setup was straightforward. Will be adding more to my home.

    I bought this smart switch to control a porch light. I'm using the Lutron app to put it on a schedule from dusk to dawn or control it remotely when needed. I have installed electrical switches and outlets before so the install was not too hard. But it can require some work to get all the wiring back in the box since the switch is thicker than a standard switch and it doesn't have terminals or back wire ports like standard switches. Instead wires are already wired into it which then have to be connected to the house wires. I had to trim back the wires a bit to get it to fit back in the electrical box. Neutral wiring took a little work as well as I had 4 other existing netrual wires in this 2 switch box and I used a Wago to connect the switch wire to them, instead of a using a wire nut since I had 5 wires to connect. Quality seems good and its working with turning on/off on the schedule. I will probably get a few more to control other lights and maybe try the dimmer smart switch as well. The switch was a bit pricy, but its working well and the app is decent so I think its worth it if its in your budget. One more thing, the Lutron hub was pretty easy to setup. I have other hubs for Hue and Ring lights and this seemed at least as easy or easier than setting up the others.
