Standard is a 1/4" and this one has a 3/8" screw. I brought back to store and after 1/2 hour, the sales associate at Best Buy figured out that the 3/8" slid down to expose the 1/4" screw. They need to show that in the instructions.

There is no slippage when the legs are extended, and it is light enough to carry around just in case you might want to shoot video with a DSLR and can benefit having some extra stability to avoid camera shake when using a telephoto lens.

Don't cheapen out and get a $20 one.

You won't regret it. Sturdy.

Ok but came damaged

I think we will buy a more expensive one with latches instead of twist knobs that lock. We are concerned about the longevity of these types of locking mechanisms.

Good option of you dont want to carry tripod.

Well built and sturdy
