I bought this drone in April of 2020. If you want to get shots you otherwise can't get with a standard camera or hand held video cam, this drone will do it for you. The camera is a Hassleblad 4K camera that shoots in 30 FPS (Frames Per Second) and you can shoot your videos in DLOG mode which means you can color enhance your videos and pictures if you're in to that kind of stuff. The video footage is as smooth as it needs to be. Everything is adjustable on it. You can control the speed of your gimbal, for instance, to slow it down to keep you from having jerky videos and will have smooth transitions when you rotate your camera up or down. Very easy to fly. Hard to crash. Full motion sensors all around for obstacle avoidance. Drone is very quiet too. What sold me on this one is that it has a smart controller that doesn't need your phone to fly it. It's all self contained. All I have to do is turn on the drone and then the controller and off I go. You may, occasionally, have to calibrate the compass or do an IMU calibration but they are very easy to do. I LOVE the RTH (Return to Home) feature. You get done capturing your shots, just tap the RTH button and the drone comes back to you. This is the neat part. Say you are on a hiking trip and you want to have the drone follow you. Perhaps biking along a trail. The RTH feature is supposed to return where it started from, but, you are no longer there. That's about a mile or so away from you. Instead, you can have the drone return to the controller instead. Isn't that neat! The size and weight makes this drone VERY STABLE!!! It is also very compact because the prop legs fold up for transporting. It's the perfect compact solution for vacation videos on trips that you can't take without one of these.

It's a phenomenal flying machine. Tears through wind without a problem (even with high wind warnings). Stable. Connection between drone and remote controller unheard of. For those on the fence debating whether to get the smart controller or not, GET IT! So bright, i can wear my sunglasses and still get a good image; far better than using an IOS device. Really am enjoying this drone! Unfortunately, I can't post full resolution images, because the images are larger than the 5mb max. Trust me, they're great!

I would recommend for any person that had never flown a drone. It it so simple to use and fly. It takes next to no experience. It has so many safety features that you would have to try to loose or crash your drone for you to do so. So if your looking to take great pics without having to learn a whole lot this is the drone for you! I bought this because my friend Rob bought one and he flew it at my house. Then I was hooked. So I bought mine with the smart remote. I read too many reviews that said your phone drains the battery with the controller. So I opted for the package deal with the smart control. You won’t be disappointed. Now if your anything like I am. Then you will need to buy the fly more combo pack. To get the 2 extra battery packs and car charger. It’s worth the money. I’m telling you! Trust me! It will be the beat thing ever. This suckers does it all. You can also fly an night and be comfortable that it will come back to you. PSA Just make sure to check FAA rules and no fly zones before you fly. Don’t ruin it for the rest of us. Fly responsibly. Just saying....

I will start this off by saying that the original crystalsky remote controller had the small toggle button break off somehow in a bag after only two flights. However, don't let that discourage you. The Mavic 2 Pro is a fantastic drone. Takes beautiful photos, hyperlapses and videos! HDR photos turn out wonderful and helps minimize the time in post processing for my clients. This Mavic 2 Pro does much better than Phantom 4 Pro in high winds. Either eliminating or drastically reducing the jello effect that is prevalent with the Phantom 4 Pro. Another fantastic implementation is having on-board storage! 16gb - meaning if you don't have an SD card, you are okay to still fly and capture images/video and save internally. Having the ability to flip the antennas up, turn the crystalsky controller on, turn on the drone and fly in a matter of seconds is far superior than plugging a tablet or phone into the regular controller. When time is money, you find more efficient ways to accomplish the mission and this package with the fly more kit nails it! Be cautious though if you do purchase this and the fly more kit, not to use the bag, the controller won't fit in it.

By far the Mavic 2 is the best of the available consumer drones on the market. I have flown/transported/setup almost every flavor. This drone is small to carry, feature packed, RELIABLE, and a complete joy to own and fly. The Pro version gives the best available camera on a consumer drone. Incredible flexibility. Like a flying DSLR! A+++ Smart controller is a game changer. Faster, better screen and no interrupting phone calls.

One of the better drones out today This drone does what most do cinema stuff has obstacle avoidance yada yada with the exception of distance this baby will go out a ways impressive distances. I fly the inspire also and distance wise this will go twice as far. This is a nice unit also the smart controller is dope haven’t needed a reflector yet! If your on the fence about one of these I’ve had a lot of drones and yes it’s abit pricey but full featured n too me worth the investment. Husban,Yuneec,Walkera “forget about it!”

This is the 5th different drone I have owned now and I absolutely love it. First having the smart controller is a no brainer. I am up and flying in 30 seconds. Easy to set up and easy to fly. Takes amazing photos and videos. Flight time is great and all the features are easy to use. Another great job by DJI! I highly recommend the Mavic 2 Pro with Smart Controller

As a newbie, but a photographer, this is the drone to get. Make sure to get the pro controller, as it's seamless and makes this an easy drone to fly right out of the box. This boy will bring himself home and land, unassisted. Cameras everywhere and you'll never crash. This is all before telling you the CAMERA is unfreaking believable. Do not cheap out if the drone is being used for film. Find the money, this is the one.

After owning the Karma for multiple years, hearing they went out of business after I crashed was disappointing. I had done extensive research for my next drone purchase and this was it. Flys great, I use it primarily for real estate photography. I would recommend if you need something high quality, easy to use and shoots a great shot.

I am extremely pleased with my Mavic 2 Pro and with the Smart Controller. The M2P is highly advanced and features obstacle avoidance sensors in all six directions. Unfortunately, they don't all work in all modes (such as sport mode, but that is to be expected). The Smart Controller has a great display and is much more convenient to use than a phone.

After owning three previous drones dating back to 2012 I still would rate DJI as the top leader in drone technology. Ease-of-use an app layout make this drone great for beginners but provides good quality pictures and video for people that have been in the game a while. Got it for a great deal on sale during holiday time.

I purchased this drone for personal / hobby. Very easy use as long as you know the rules on flying drone. It takes great pictures and records superb videos! This the only drone you need. Match it with the smart controller for easy set up. SC with bright screen and easy to navigate and use!

Was upgrading from a Phantom 4. Love the size and how easy it is to transport. Dont need to remove the props. Only issue is that the smart controller sometimes dont connect properly to the drone when turning on. Will have to turn off and then back on. But overall it works great.

Great little drone for professional use. Would highly recommend it for anyone...beginner or pro. Definitely glad I got the Fly More Combo and the Smart Controller. Until the next Mavic comes out from DJI, this is the best all-around compact drone on the market.

The Mavic 2 Pro has a great camera, the drone itself is easy to fly. Extra Smart Batteries are a must for more flying time. I’ve had the drone for about 6 weeks now and I’m not disappointed. Wish I would have bought it sooner.

Very nice reduction in size as opposed to my Phantom 4. With no post processing, quality of video seems a little less than the phantom 4, but with a bit of work, it can get there. Great drone for those who dont want to dedicate a whole bag to only carrying a drone and accessories!

By far the best drone I’ve purchased to date. Bought for work and it’s been a great tool for filming and take pictures. Lots of great features. Very portable and durable. Strongly recommend for anybody wanting to stand out with their videos or pictures.

When ordering this product my biggest concern was its size compared to the more robust fixed frame drones like the Phantom. However, when I got it and began to fly, I quickly realized the advantages of this product. It is compact, very strong and the camera is beyond my expectation for clarity and range. My first flights was to survey massive tornado damage on my family property from the Easter Sunday storms. It quickly told me the visual damage and more amazing, I could actually follow the path of the storm for over a mile just using the camera from a fixed location. This is a great product and should serve me well for many years. One reservation is that the sensors all around the drone do not alway work in all flight modes so be aware. Still have to use common sense when flying.

The smart controller is great to have. The screen is bright and you do not have to use your phone. The M2P takes some amazing low light pictures. Also in the day time too. But I love this drone. If they do a M3P I may have to upgrade.
