I went with what I thought would be a simple dryer - fewer controls to break easily, but I didn't expect such a heavy duty, terrible machine. It is really ruining my clothes. They come out stiff even with the use of lots of fabric softeners. The "wrinkle-free" cycle does nothing to keep clothing from wrinkling. It will probably last for a million years, because it is very basic.
