But I just don't like the knob design. It is hard to turn and get it exactly where it should be. The 'more dry' auto sensor setting barely gets the clothes dry but if you put the knob too far on 'more dry' then the heat doesn't turn on and you've run a whole load for nothing.

Maytag dryer is not recommended

Worked great for less than 30 days

Delivery and installation on August 14th. Just yesterday the start button on the dryer stopped working. Feels like it’s loose or something came apart inside. First repair date is in 10 days. Not happy family at all.

takes a long time to dry not efficient
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.towels and jeans are always damp unless I run them for 140 minutes ...I thought gas dryers were supposed to be more efficient ...well this one is not...everything takes longer to dry...I honestly don't think this was a brand new dryer either when i first used it I found a dryer sheet in it,,,,I don't use them.... Not really happy with it....

Posted .guesswhoaz, we we recommend checking the house venting that is connected to your Maytag® Dryer as that could be the reason it is not drying efficiently. Sometimes, extra lint in your Dryer will clog the vent. Also, we recommend addressing the fact that there was a dryer sheet in your Dryer before you used it with the place in which it was purchased.

Posted .Guesswhoaz, we are sorry to hear of the experiences you've had with your Maytag® Dryer. Finding a Dryer sheet in your Dryer before using it at all would definitely be something to discuss with place in which it was purchased. However, as far as the drying issue goes, we recommend that the house venting is checked as we found that it usually is the cause of loads not drying properly. Be sure to free the vents of any lint that may have gotten stuck. We hope this helps!

210 minutes 6 towels not even near dry

Took forever to dry a t-shirt. Complete lemon! Best Buy staff were accommodating and replacement purchased (Samsung) is fine. Otherwise zero stars.

Takes several cycle to fully dry
