I am not techy. I just wanted a tablet that works like a laptop to avoid catching viruses as my past computer did. This tablet is great! I have had one issue with it. Was watching Netflix on it and the screen keep going black on me even though I was still hearing the show. Not sure that that was all about. Other than that, I like my choice this far.

I loved my old Surface. When I saw a new one was coming out, I decided to buy it and give my old one as a hand-me-down. The new device is no different than the old device (to me), but has better specs and different ports (which is good). I use the device for school, work and consuming media. The Pro 4 did not let me down and this one hasn't either (nor do I expect it to). This thing is plenty fast for what I need and very handy for school - especially with an Microsoft (Office) 365 subscription. Great product, great price. I am a fan.

Coming up on a year with this device, it has exceeded expectations. There's more than enough computing power that, combined with a proper wireless connection, you'll never experience lag. While I seriously considered the Intel Core i7, the i5 is more than sufficient. Also, the i7 model has a fan. This i5 model, combined with a solid-state drive, makes everything fast AND quiet!

I bought a Surface Go two years ago, and I take it everywhere with me, because it so light and versatile, yet powerful. So when I decided to upgrade my previous bigger (another brand) laptop, the Surface Pro 7 was at the forefront of my choices. I made the best choice! I still take my Surface Go on the road with me; but I use my new Surface Pro 7 for everything else. I love it!!

I have had to have my surface replaced by Microsoft 4 times in the past 9 months I've had it. It works great when it's working, but I've head screen freezes that never went away and had to replace it. Audio/bluetooth stopped working out of nowhere and also had to get it replaced. Updates weren't being able to install.

Love the Surface Pro 7 series, especially with both a full-sized USB port and the new addition of a USB-C port. I think the i5 model, with 16GB of RAM, is plenty of power to get practically any work or school task done without any system sluggishness. Wish the systems came with the Type Cover, which is an additional cost, but love the portability!

Awesome tablet / computer. Plenty under the hood for all every day tasks including Adobe Illustrator. Clear bright screen. Perfect for carrying around in a backpack.

I had it for exactly 2 days when it fell and screen was cracked. Could not be fixed so needed replacement. Luckily, I had 3-year plan and got free replacement. HOWEVER, had to purchase yet another $280 3-year plan for new replacement. Would have like option to carry over old plan for new replacement. Wound up having to spend $560! Be aware that any given plan is for one laptop/tablet & if you replace, you have to get another plan.

We love Surface Pros. We purchase a bunch for clients and we have had 4 for our home as well. Our kids use them for games (minecraft, sims, roadblox, etc.) and then I use it for work, digital design, video editing, etc. and they work great!

Excellent laptop. I prefer the Core I5 than the I7 because there is no fan noise with the I5. 16GB of RAM are perfect. No need to have a bigger SSD as you can add a micro SD card for much less money.

Upgraded from a Surface Pro 4 and this is a huge upgrade. More memory, faster processor and Wi-Fi 6. Future proofed for some time to come with Windows 11.

The four stars are for the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 itself - It's a solid tablet that can punch above its weight with productivity applications. I'm a fan! Now for the buying experience... I purchased on BestBuy.com as an open-box (excellent) item. Shipping was fast and packaging was good. Unfortunately, the tablet inside looked like someone had just pulled it off of a table and shoved it in the box. It was covered in smudges and fingerprints - had light scratches, and the charger was still attached as if just unplugged. Luckily, Best Buy has a GREAT return policy. Returned to local store with no issue or hassle!

Good product. Second ms pro I bought. The performance is great and the technology build and ongoing maintenance is well done, much better than 3 years ago.
