    Perfect for vacations

Having extra power when you need it comes in handy, especially when you’re away from home on vacation. This case fits snug and offers a 2,800 mAh battery, which is 78% of my iphone 16 Pro’s internal 3,582 mAh sized battery. I know there is some efficiency loss but know that you can easily get 50% back from zero comes in handy. The case also claims drop protection but note that the case is hard plastic with no TPU-like rubber in the corners so YMMV on the actual protection. Speaking of protection, there isn’t a raised lip around the camera bumps and only in the four corners on the screen side. Not the best coverage but better than nothing. What I love about this case is that it can add over 50% when needed, bulk isn’t too bad for everyday use and comes with magsafe attachment on the back for wallets, popsockets, car holders, etc. You just can’t charge the case or your phone via magsafe as its only “passive”. The fitment and button feels great. What would make this case perfect would be better finish and better raised bezels. The finish is a matte finish but can easily get fingerprints that’s hard to buff out. I haven’t dropped mine yet but I can’t imagine the soft matte finish to hold up well against accidental drops or abrasions. The case can only charge via USB-C and I do wish that I can use the magsafe to charge the battery bank and the phone at the same time. I would recommend this case to anyone looking to prolong their battery life when they are away from outlets. This would work perfect for vacations.

    Perfect companion for the iPhone

I’ve been a fan of Mophie Juice Packs for many years. I always prefer for any type of phone case have a secondary use and the Juice Pack is the ideal travel companion for the iPhone. The case pulls apart in two pieces (top and bottom) and the phone slides into it. There is a 4-LED power indicator on the back of the case that shows the battery level of the case and when the case is in charge mode for the phone. To activate it for phone charging the user should press and hold the button next to the LEDs until it blinks. The phone will either chime or vibrate (depending on the mode you have it set to) to indicate that it’s charging. The case provides pass-through charging so the phone will charge first when the case is plugged into a power source. One of the things I was most excited about was the fact that Mophie built in am integrated passive magnet so that it will work with MagSafe accessories. It does not do MagSafe or wireless charging, but it will work with accessories like wallets, stands, or grips. The magnet is very strong. I have a grip attached to it currently and it does not come off easily. Another feature that is remarkable is that the case is super lightweight. When I got the box I thought it was empty because previous models of the Juice Pack have been much heavier. Mophie has done a great job of making the battery case as slim as possible. The only issue I really had was trying to get the case to come apart without the phone in it. When the phone is in it, it separates with just a little tug. But for some reason without the phone in it, it’s harder to get it to detach from itself. This could be an inconvenience for some users who might be in a hurry. Overall, the Mophie Juice Pack has been a fantastic companion to my iPhone. Its lightweight design, integrated magnet, and reliable charging make it an excellent choice for those who need extra battery power without compromising on portability.

    Good case-recharge no mag charge

This is a really good charging case for the iPhone 16 pro. It provides about a 50% charge and takes about 1-2 hours. The size is good but on the large size. The recharge on the case is slow. It comes with the 2 part case but no charging cable or plug. It uses usb c (same as the iPhone 16 pro) The case is MagSafe compatible and has a very strong magnet to hold your phone (or the case alone) on a flat metal surface The case does not allow wireless charging so you must use the usb c plug to charge your phone. The case is a little over sized (about 3/4 inches longer) and has built in speakers to play from your phone speakers at the bottom of the case. The case will charge around 50% of your phone and takes between 1&2 hours to accomplish. I did not try while using the phone much like watching videos, I was only checking messages periodically. When the case charge is spent t must be recharged. You can charge it with or without the phone inside. When charging the phone and case the phone will charge first before the case and takes a few hours In all it’s a good case and the size and charge are good. It would be great if you could still use the wireless charger and had an option to charge the case first instead of only phone first

    Essential iPhone Accessory

I recently upgraded my iPhone to a 16 Pro and was looking for a battery extender / protective case for those longer days at work or out on the trail. There are a number of options available but after all my research the mophie Juice Pack for iPhone 16 Pro seemed to keep coming to the top of my list. It offers a protective case that is certified for a drop of 6 feet and also provides approximately 50% additional battery life for your iPhone. Case Review – the mophie Juice Pack is a great looking case that fits the phone perfectly and provides protection for all aspects of the iPhone. As it’s a rigid design, it’s a 2-piece case that the iPhone slides into for installation. Simply pull the two sides apart, slide the phone into the lower piece and then slide the upper piece together and click it into place. The USB-C input on the [phone slides onto a connector in the case and allows for charging of the phone (prioritized) or the Juice Pack. The finish is a matte black and feels grippy in hand for a secure hold when using the phone. All of the buttons, speakers and charge port line up perfectly on the case. This includes the new Capture Button on the iPhone 16 Pro. The case also has raised edges around the screen, that sit above the screen to provide protection while using or when placed facedown. The case also protects the camera lenses. Batter Review – the Juice Pack has a bit of a raised area on the case that houses the battery. It’s about the size of a MagSafe type battery pack. Speaking of MagSafe, the Juice Pack does provide magnetic support for attaching to stands, wallets or other magnetic accessories. There’s a control button and four small LED lights on the back of the case used for turning the battery on and off and also provides the battery’s state of charge. The claimed additional battery life is 50% and I would confirm that after running the battery through a number of cycles. Pros: - Case aligns perfectly to the iPhone 16 Pro controls, speakers and USB-C port. - Matte black finish looks great and provides a grippy surface - Who couldn’t use an additional 50% battery life - Sleek design protects the phone and is low-profile for all day carry - Speaker cut outs seem to amplify the phone’s audio output - Pass through charging gives priority to the iPhone battery Cons: - Haven’t found any yet Overall, the mophie Juice Pack for iPhone 16 Pro has become one of my favorite iPhone accessories for both work and leisure use. Not only does it provide protection for my new $1,000 iPhone, it also adds an additional 50% battery life. I would certainly recommend this case/charger to anyone looking to purchase as new case.

TL;DR: 1. SETUP: Charge it up and slide on the case. 2. USE: Press the button, the LED lights will come on and it will change. 3. USABILITY: It works and is nice to have, especially when you are heading out and know you will probably need a little extra juice! 4. OVERALL: It is a little bulky and heavy. It shows some fingerprints (easy to clean, though). It will give you about a 70% charge. It’s a great alternative to a MagSafe battery. I have owned and still own a bunch of Mophie stuff. I’ve always had good luck with their various batteries and still regularly use some of their batteries that are 10+ years old. I’ve even had the Juice Pack (and I believe Juice Pack Plus?) for several older iPhones (3G, 4, and 4S), so I was excited they relaunched it. The packaging it comes in is nice. The style and functionality are very familiar. You slide off the top of the case, slide the phone into the case, and snap in the stop of the case. It’s a little tight, as it needs to be to offer protection and zero rattle. The female portion of the USB-C charging port of the iPhone slides into the male portion of the USB-C port of the Juice Pack. When recharging your phone and case, the USB-C charging cable will directly go into the case, which ultimately charges the case and phone. It offers pass-through charging. I don’t have a meter, but it charges relatively quickly. I don’t notice it taking longer than just charging the phone…although I haven’t timed it either. There are strong magnets on the back of the Mophie Juice Pack, but it doesn’t allow for wireless charging. It will allow it to magnetically adhere to anything metal.
The material of the case is a soft-touch plastic. It’s nice in hand and it’s slippery, but will show fingerprints. It is heavy, but not heavier than with a battery bank attached. This is a great alternative to a 5000 mAh MagSafe battery. It doesn’t get noticeably warm and is an all-in-one piece, meaning you’re not going to lose, misplace, etc., the extra battery. You really won’t lose any/much power to heat, either. If you need more power, then a 10,000+ mAh battery bank is a better option, but for most people who may need extra power during their normal day or will have an extended day [traveling, outdoor activities (hiking, biking), etc.], this is a great alternative that will give a bunch of extra usage to your phone and it’s just part of your normal case.

Great solution for heavy phone days

Verdict: The mophie Juice Pack case provides an elegant solution for additional battery capacity for heavy daily users or for users who need extra juice on specific days, such as travel, sporting event, or entertainment venues. While we are happy with this case and plan to use it occasionally for specific cases, I wish that the case allowed for magnetic charging, and I wish that power diverted automatically when the battery dies. First Impression. The case is quite heavy and fairly thick. It has a nice soft feel. It is thick enough to protect the camera lenses. The front of the case extends beyond the screen to add some shatter protection. Installation. Putting the case on the iPhone is very easy. The case slides open and the iPhone fits snuggly. To remove, just pull the top off firmly. Performance. The mophie case adds 50% battery to the standard battery life. Quick push of the button provides battery level through the LEDs. Holding the button for 3 secs starts charging, and holding the button for 3 secs again turns off charging. I would prefer that charging triggered automatically when the phone battery reaches a certain level, but I see the great value of being able to save the 50% recharge for a specific time. We definitely plan to use this case on travel days or attending sporting events so we have a battery that lasts all day Things I love. - Finally, my phone can have battery all day! - Six feet drop protection - Made with recycled material - Strong magnet to keep my phone on the magnetic charger… but it doesn’t charge - Nice feel - Charges the phone first before it charges the mophie case Things I don’t love. - I wish wireless charging was possible. This is how we currently charge all our phones, so unfortunately, this case will not be a daily driver. Conclusion. While we will not use the mophie case daily, we will definitely use it regularly on days we expect to run out of batteries. Our phones no longer last all day, so this case will be a life saver on heavy phone days. In all, it’s a nice case with great utility. We like this case a lot.

The Mophie feels great, and it doesn’t add any bulk to the 16 pro. The MagSafe magnet is very strong! Also, it doesn’t feel like you are holding the pro max model with the case on. Performance wise, I was able to charge my 16 pro from 12% to 53% within 2hrs, while using the phone might I add, with some surfing and some YouTube. If you are ok with fingerprints and grease marks on the case, it will show but it’s easy to wipe off and again, it’s not slippery at all, and it doesn’t pick up lint, it has a smooth matte feel. The Mophie does give you the juice u need for like outings or just when u are away from a charger, especially vacations. It’s easy to put on and remove and it feels premium. This case is a great backup and not for daily use. Thus far when i have used it consistently, it charges up to 50% within 1hr while using, less than 2hrs. It is not a fast charger but it serves its purpose. You will not be disappointed with this Mophie case. It stays cool in hand, which means no uncomfortable heat.

Very nice! I usually have problems with keeping my phone charged, especially when venturing out for long periods of time. I have also used battery blocks for charging my phone, but they can be extremely inconvenient to carry around and use. This case is not heavy at all and has a nice grip.

    Lightweight, convenient battery pack

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The mophie juice pack for the iPhone 16 Pro is a power bank and phone case combo that is convenient and easy to use. The case is made with up to 50% post-consumer recycled plastic and comes without any printed instructions, opting instead for a scanable QR code to its downloadable PDF manual. The manual contains mostly images without text, but installation is straightforward. While no charging cable or power adapter are included, the device charges via USB-C, so you would be able to use your phone’s charging cable. The case separates into two pieces by pulling firmly on the top section which detaches from bottom half. This allows you to slide your phone into the bottom section where a USB-C connector plugs into your phone’s charging port to pass through power from the battery pack. Then slide the top portion over your phone and squeeze shut until the two pieces click together securely. The bottom speaker and mic are vented towards the front of the case and covered with a fine mesh screen to keep out dust and debris while the buttons on the sides are covered with plastic click buttons with a cutout to expose the touch camera slider. The case has a soft-touch, matte silicone feel which is silky smooth but also provides a bit of grip texture so that it doesn’t feel slippery. The case adds about 2mm of thickness to the sides and top of the phone and about 12mm at the bottom, while the slim 2800 mAh battery adds about 7mm of thickness at the back with an additional 2mm protection in front of the screen. The front of your phone will be lifted off the table when placed face down, and the camera lenses won’t touch the table while face up. Not only does the phone get 6 ft of drop and all-around scratch protection, the case is also compatible with added screen protectors. Despite all the bulk, the case is pretty lightweight, weighing only 3.5 oz. While the battery capacity of 2800 mAh is less than that of the iPhone 16 Pro’s (around 50%) that's still enough to provide more than 42 hours of additional talk or music playback and up to 13 hours of video playback on a full charge. When plugged in to charge, with a phone installed, the juice pack will pass through the charge to top up your phone first before charging the battery pack, which takes around 2 hours when fully depleted. You can view its current charge level by short pressing the button on the back of the case which will illuminate the 4 status LEDs accordingly. Note that it will not charge your phone "automatically;" To activate or stop phone charging once unplugged, simply hold the button on the back for 3 seconds. What’s nice about this power bank case is that it also has a passive magnet embedded in the back making it compatible with magnetic accessories like the phone holder in my car. In fact, I feel like it’s a little bit harder to disconnect the magnet from these accessories versus just the phone’s native magnetic capability. The downside is that you lost the ability to wirelessly charge your phone while in this case, as the battery pack itself cannot be charged wirelessly. Also keep in mind that it is an electronic device and not water-resistant so can’t be submerged, and you should dry it right away if it gets wet. Overall, I like that this battery pack provides protection for my phone without adding a lot of weight and extra power on-demand when I need it. I don’t’ have to take my phone out to charge it, worry about forgetting it when I go out, and the battery pack is covered by a 2-year warranty.

Mophie Juice Pack - Great Protection, Max Charge.

For the past week, I’ve been using the brand-new Mophie Juice Pack case. So far, I’ve had a great experience. My current model phone is the iPhone 16 Pro, and this device already has pretty good battery life. However, with the Mophie Juice Pack, I’ve been able to achieve four days off of a single charge of the Mophie and a fully charged cell phone (which equates to 87 hours). In terms of the feel, it comes in a matte black silicone case and has a nice, smooth texture. It’s about the same size as the iPhone 16 Pro Max. This may be a bit large for people who are fans of the iPhone SE and Mini models, but it is justified due to its functionality. It has 4 small white LED indicator lights that let you know the Juice Pack’s charge level. The Siri, volume, and action buttons are all well protected and have the same bottom resistance as the phone outside of the case. Just as most 16 series cases, the Juice Pack also has a cut-out for the touch-sensitive camera control button. Even if you were not using the Juice Pack to charge your phone, its durability alone is impressive, and I may just keep this as my standard phone case. Highly recommend. 5/5

Pros: The case extends battery life, can usually get around 80-90% extra battery life. As expected, the phone will get warm when the case battery is activated. The case battery charges the phone slowly. Cons: The case is big and bulky, and does not provide a lot of protection for the front screen. I dropped my phone a couple feet from a table and cracked the screen protector.

Let me first say that I have owned Mophie Juice Packs for many years. I just bought an iPhone 16, and this Mophie. There are problems with this particular case - first, the phone must be fully inserted (until it clicks) in order to charge the case and the phone, or for the case to charge the phone. The problem is that in this position, the side buttons DO NOT WORK. You have to slide the phone away from the charging port and then replace the top piece in order to use the buttons - then the phone does not charge.
