Customers are enthusiastic about the Moto 360 Smartwatch 46mm Stainless Steel's long battery life, stylish design, and useful notifications. They appreciate that it is easy to use and offers a variety of watch faces to choose from. Great Watch, Excellent Styling, Impressive
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned the 360 for 4 days now. I'll start be talking about the battery, which seems to hang up most people. I have not run out of battery once. I have not had to charge during the day. I start my day taking it off the charger around 7am and put it back around 10:30pm or 11:00pm with plenty of battery life left (< 25%). This is during the first few days of use, when I'm constantly playing with it, measuring heart rates, trying new commands, new faces, etc. I do not use ambient mode - my screen turns off when not in use, which I like. It looks good in all black and responds nicely when I actually want to see the time. Now that that is out of the way. I will talk about the rest. Style: I love the round, simple style of the 360. I have black on black right now and will probably purchase more straps when available. The leather is soft, but sturdy. I have relatively small wrists for a man, but the watch looks great on my arm. I've already gotten compliments from strangers. The watch faces are customizable - i.e. choose the basic design, then you can change the background from white to black or vice-versa, and change the accent to one of almost twelve colors. Make it exactly the way you want it. Software: The Android Wear platform is great so far. I love getting messages on my wrist to quickly view a comment in a messaging app, or the latest score of the baseball game. I'm still learning all the different features, but I'm very happy with the main point of the watch - keeping time! I am not sure if this is specific to the Moto 360 or if other Android Wear phones do this, but on the watch face I chose, if you have a scheduled appointment at a specific time - the watch face highlights that region of the watch with white - showing when you have an appointment. As you approach that time - the minute markers highlight showing you how many minutes before your next appointment and they disappear as the time approaches. Finally, when you are in your appointment the region is highlighted again. Battery Life / Charging: I spoke earlier about battery and I won't go over it again expect to state: this has lasted me more than a full day each day I've had it without any worry of not making it. At the end of the day I place the phone on the wireless charger next to my bed and it's a nice night time clock. Ease of just resting it in the cradle without having to work a wonky adapter on it is great. Performance: I understand this watch has an older processor. I do not have a comparison watch to judge against, but to me the performance has been good. It reacts quickly to touches and swipes. Voice commands work well.

Elegant Design
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Moto 360 is a very nice looking Android Wear smart watch that will look good in both business and casual settings. The road face allows it to blend more naturally with clothes such that it doesn't stand out as a geeky piece of equipment on your wrist. The ambient light sensor that takes up about 10% of the bottom of the screen is a bit of an inhibitor to the otherwise excellent aesthetics of the watch. The requirement to tilt the watch or press the screen or button to see the face can be at times a bit annoying, and the outdated processor seems to lag a bit at times. These are the reasons why I didn't give it 5 stars, but this is a great timepiece for technology aficionados, and is certainly worth the purchase if you are considering a smart watch.

Best WATCH I've ever had!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Today the new version of the MOTO 360 came out. But this, the first gen, I think is 10 times more beautiful, and for this price, I think it's really a big deal. And now you can connect with your iPhone officially (even this version of moto!). BUY IT! DON'T THINK ABOUT IT JUST BUY IT! and you will find that is the best watch, and smartwatch ever. Applause to Motorola in this one. By the way, I'm Apple fan, but first I'm design fan, and this is excellent!

Review of Moto 360 after 2 weeks of use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Alright, this is my Updated Review after 2 weeks of using Moto 360. Do note that Moto 360 just received a New Firmware Update yesterday (9/24/2014): http://www.gottabemobile.com/2014/09/25/moto-360-update-brings-connection-and-battery-improvements/ What does this mean? - Connection drops don't happen anymore! It's been 2 days for me and I don't have a single connection drop at all. I used to get 2-4 drops each day prior to this update. - Battery life is significantly improved! I used to get between 12-16 hours before the update, but now I can easily get a full day (24 hours)! Do note that the battery drains faster for the first 5-10% (from 100% to 95 or 90%). I'm not sure why but this happens on my Galaxy S4 and S3 phones as well. As a side note, I turn off Ambient Mode and set the Brightness to Auto. And yes, the WOW factor of this watch is just one of the biggest plus points. People praise the coolness and sleekness of this watch, what it can do, etc. And there are more and more useful apps that Android Wear has. I keep checking for new apps once every few days so I can tell you what apps that can go well with Moto 360. These are just some Wear-specific apps that I have installed: http://goo.gl/bOJCJa. There are other apps that are not Wear-specific i.e. these apps can work both on your phone and Moto 360 e.g. Evernote, GroupMe, WhatsApp, and many more. The To-do List feature on Evernote is personally one of my favorite Apps for Moto 360. This is the list of Wear Apps that I think are pretty cool: http://goo.gl/ddPEmQ. Some of these apps work perfectly, some are not fully optimized yet for round Android Smartwatches (like Moto 360) but the developers have promised to work hard to make it fully compatible with Moto 360. I know Android Wear is new, v.1 but trust me, the apps are getting better and better each day and I know my decision to buy Moto 360 was right. I initially gave myself and Moto 360 two weeks to see if we "could get along well" with each other as I could always return it within 14 days. Now, I am not looking back and am completely happy with this. My only complain is the price. I personally feel $250 is still a steep price. $150 would be just perfect. A lot of my friends do think $250 is high too.

Love the watch, but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love almost everything about it; the round design, battery life is fine, plenty smooth but I'm already on my 2nd one. I had to return the watch because some random cracks formed on the back of the watch with normal wear. A few others on the internet have mentioned this problem, also. Motorola customer service was a nightmare so I'm glad I got the Geek Squad protection. I'll chalk it up to first run issues, but if this happens again, I'll be waiting for the LG G Pro to come out.

Best Smart Watch on the market
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best smart watch currently on the market for android. I have tried the LG G watch and I kickstarted the pebble and this by far out classes both of them. On of my favorite feature which is semi hidden is the fact it has 2GB's of onboard storage for music. What that allows you to do is Bluetooth it to a wireless headset and you are able listen to music without using your phone. All of the other features like notification's as well as Voice to text works perfectly almost every time.

Excellent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I didn't find it very functional, it seemed lacking, but over time I found it to be a great addition to my phone. Where I found it useful was during working hours. Instead of pulling out my phone constantly I was using my watch to swipe away notifications or quickly reply to messages. This alone allows me to save much battery life on my phone. A lot of people have been complaining about battery life, Honestly, maybe some people are really stress testing it but I use it quite often as a regular user and I end the day with 30+% battery. At the end of the day when I go to bed, I unstrap the watch and wireless dock it on my nightstand so when I wake up I am ready to go again. Design wise, it is by far the best looking Android Wear watch currently available period. Not much more to say, just go look at it yourself at your local store. Android Wear certainly needs more functionality and I am optimistic that in time this 1st gen software will evolve in functionality. For now, I am happy with my purchase and satisfied with the current features. I recommend trying it out, and hey, if it is not for you, you always have the return policy. :)

Moto 360 - simply extraordinary
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all I have been waiting for this Moto 360 ever since it was announced. I am a gadget-head who loves technology. That said, I did see a lot of mixed reviews. Not sure why either... especially about the bad battery...I am a heavy user and I went through the whole day. Took off charger at 8:15am and used heavily all day...emails, texts, weather, heart rate, google cards, downloaded apps, played around trying different watch faces. By 8:15pm I still had 46% battery. I LOVE thing watch. I did swap out the leather band for the pebble steel band which fits perfectly and looks really classy. I would HIGHLY recommend for any gadget lover.

Amazing Device I Never Realized I Needed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is amazing. The build quality is fantastic, and it looks great! I think the best way to think about it is a watch first that also makes using a cell phone far less obtrusive. Now I don't have to pull out my phone to check basic things like texts and calendar events. I can just glance down at my watch and the phone can stay in my bag. The "OK, Google" feature is nifty as well, but I expect I'll have some trouble using that without sounding like a tool. Really, awesome, solid piece of hardware.

One of the best looking smartwatch out there
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought moto 360 purely based on looks. I love how it looks when it first came out. 3 months after I purchased the watch, I still enjoy wearing it on my wrist. I received many compliments from my friends and colleagues. It does have plenty of downside since it's the 1st gen of android wear but I can live with it. The main one is battery life, I prefer wearable have 7days (1 week) span of in between charge like most fitness wearable out there. For now 1-2 days isn't so bad for Moto 360, most people don't wear it to sleep anyways.

One of the best Android Wear watches
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the Moto 360 for a couple of months now and I am really liking it. The battery life keeps getting better and better with every update. Right now there are not a lot of useful uses for it now, but the convenience is great. The leather band is by far the best offered with any other smart watches available. I was worried that the black would chip/wear very easily but boy was I wrong! I have hit it on door knobs, walls, etc and perfect so far! Great job Motorola!

Best smartwatch at $150 dollars
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First , I really like this watch. Good styling and at $150 dollars , a great price. This is my daily watch and I use it alot every day for notifications, the timer, and reminders. It is well crafted. The first thing I did to it , was to accidentially drop it face first on the concrete within the first hour that I had it. The gorilla glass did not crack and I only has a very small scratch on the side of the black case. No other damage. Works like a champ. I also have the asus zenwatch , and I like this one a little bit more. The heart monitor works acurately , but not on the zenwatch. With andriod 5.1.1 update , it also has the wifi feature and not just bluetooth for connecting to your smart phone. I would definitely buy it again. As a note, to get more than a day of battery life, just cut off the ambient light mode and wrist gestures. Ambient mode dims the display but leaves it alawys on. The wrist gestures will cause it to some on sometimes when you do not want it to , therefore waisting the battery. The battery will last about twice as long as having both turned on. Aslo, about 50% longer than ambient mode turned off and wrist gestures turned on.

A Very Good Looking Watch, Lacking OS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very excited to get my hands on this product and was looking forward to it for months. I used it for about a week and then ended up returning the device. Nothing against the watch, it had amazing looks and looked very classy. For me, it was the software that came up very short. I just did not see the need for a $250 watch to let me know how long it will take to get home from work or to show me how many steps I have taken. I understand it is only suppose to be an extension of your phone but it was just too bare bones for my liking. The bluetooth connection also ate at my battery life on my Note 3, after I returned it the other day my battery is back to normal. The terrible battery life rumors are just false. I used it for a solid week and never got "scared" of it dying on me. Unless you get constant notifications the watch will last you easily throughout the day, but you will for sure want to charge it at night. But when you do, charging the device is a breeze and extremely easy since it is wireless, just put the watch on the stand and boom it charges, and fast. I found it to charge almost 1% every minute or two. So if you are a heavy user just bring the small charger with you and you are good to go. The screen looked crisp for a watch and I can't get over the design. Motorola knocked it out of the park. But for me it just was not worth the money in the long run. Android Wear has a very long way to go and until then I recommend holding off on a smart watch. But if you really like the way it looks and want text messages on your wrist...go for it, you may or may not be disappointed.

It's good but not perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The design is very good and futuristic. You will be more handsome when you wear moto 360. This is the most handsome smart watch so far. But the hardware is not the best. The battery life is only around 1-1,5 day if you are not using it too much. The performance is also not very good, some time you will find the watch is not responsive. And the OS, Android Wear, is not mature yet. So if you want to look cool, Moto 360 is the best for you. But if you are looking for functionality, i think Pebble still the best option.

I swore I would never buy a smart watch.. until..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I told myself years ago that I would never buy a smart watch. I told myself that THAT'S where I drew my line in terms of tech.. then I saw the Moto360. It's not just a piece of the latest geek tech to have, but it compliments almost any outfit. Of course I will revert back to my traditional watches when I'm going to formal occasions, but as a daily driver, it's flawless. Battery lasts me a full day, and then some, no problem, although I must say it does heat up quicker than I'd hoped. If you are planning on going on a trip without an accessible charge port, this watch won't last you more than 24 hours, but for regular everyday use, it's magical. Pros: - Stylish and adaptable, blends with almost all outfits - Intuitive design, easy to use - Lightweight, it's lighter than most of my analogs - Right size, for me at least - Premium Materials, feels and looks high end - Very quick wireless charging Cons: - Definitely not a battery sipper due to the older internals - Heats up quickly with regular/heavy use - The glass is not sapphire glass, like on most analog watches, which are the best at resisting scratches - Poor launch experience... - Just a hunch, but I feel this device will be outdated in a matter of a few short months.

Great looks with major battery issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned the Samsung Gear Live for about six months now, and while it has performed well with Android Wear, it lacked the class to wear it for more formal occasions. Therefore I decided to get myself the Moto 360, which looks very classy. Unfortunately, the classy looks are not matched by performance, with first and foremost the horrendous battery life (max 16 hours with moderate use). Therefore, if you are looking for a timepiece that is classy and does not exude "geek", then the Moto 360 is a fine watch. If performance, especially battery life, is important to you, then perhaps you should get another Android Wear smartwatch, or wait for the next generation of watches to come to market. In summary, here are some pros and cons: Pros: - Looks - Build quality - Ability to customize (ex. change up watch bands, etc.) Cons: - Battery life - Performance (sluggish compared to other Android Wear watches) - Screen is not always on (as this would absolutely kill the battery)
