Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the Moto 360 Smartwatch 46mm Stainless Steel's long battery life, stylish design, and useful notifications. They appreciate that it is easy to use and offers a variety of watch faces to choose from. However, some customers have concerns about its durability, display quality, connectivity issues, heart rate monitor accuracy, and its size being too large for smaller wrists.

Love it more and more every day

I wanted this watch from the first rumors of it coming out. I use it every day. With the update the battery life easily allows me to make it through the day. It will have a bit of a lag now and then. But, not enough to be annoying. This is truly the best smart watch at this moment and with updates from Google and Motorola will only get better. I will say that smart watches, being in their infancy are not for everyone. But, for those who are into tech items, this is currently the watch to buy.

Seems this is perfect for those who want to always be on top of things, and getting there fast, but after researching and playing with other watches, it's not the top of the line. Therefore, for the price, it may have been a little too expensive. Other than that, it's all great

The Best Andriod Wear Smartwatch you can buy

I was excited about the Moto 360 coming out since it was announced at Google IO. I got my hands on one as soon as it launched. Initial reviews said it had bad battery life. I find that to be false with ambient mode off and 1% brightness (its bright enough to see in broad daylight) I get 20 hours easy out of it. I love the Moto 360 more and more each day if you want a smart watch this is the one to get.

    Stunning watch...Battery life meh

Well, I had the LG G watch and the Gear Live. I returned the LG because it didnt fit well, and I got the Gear Live because the curved frame fit my wrist perfectly. But I returned that because the battery life was extremely sub par. I read alot about how the battery on the 360 was supposed to be an all day laster. So I finally got my hands on one, and yep, nowhere near. It seems very tempermental at best. Yesterday it was at 97% at 4pm, buy 11pm it was still at 65%. The day prior to that, I had to charge it twice. Why Motorola decided to toss in the ancient TI Omap 3 processor I will never know, but its not known for being very power efficient. Yes its a pretty decent looking watch, and yes it seems to sell out as soon as sites post it as being available, but with most apps not updated to support the circular face, the sub par battery, the numerous complaints of dead pixels (search the net, personally I have a SINGLE dead pixel, and it annoys me, but I also know that exchanging it isnt an option since there are none to swap out, plus I might get one that's worse), I bought into all the hype surrounding the 360, and I bought into it hard! But in the end, its somewhat of a disappointment, and I would wait till the next iteration of watches to make an appearance.

The device needs to download a software update after initial setup, and this does eat a lot of battery. However, after the update is installed, the battery life will improve. Also consider that anytime you've got a new piece of tech, you're probably going to be using it / playing with it a lot more than you would once you've had it for a while and gotten used to it. Give it a few days, even a week, and then see how you feel about it.MotorolaMobility

As someone else pointed out, I don't understand complaints about battery life. Once the first day of excessive use is behind, battery lasts for 14 hours on single charge. I was (and still am) concerned about OMAP3, but frankly I don't feel any performance lags sofar. Very easy to setup (Nexus 5), all notifications are pushed promptly. Nice to see incoming text messages without pulling the phone out of the pocket. Voice recognition works great.

    The SmartWatch Worth Waiting For

    Posted .

Like many others, I have been waiting for this device since the day it was announced. I managed to be one of the lucky ones to get my hands on one in the first week. My first day, the battery died before dinner, largely due to updates and playing with it. I am now seeing a 6AM-9PM usage with mid-30s % of battery life left when it goes in the charger. Would I like more, Yes. I (like others) blame this on the 'old' processor and small battery. I was initially disappointed on the interface with the Samsung Messaging app on my Galaxy S4, but once I updated and activated Hangouts, I have seeing and receiving SMS messages better. If you are not a fan of Google Apps and Services, you may see some operational challenges with 3rd party email/messaging apps, but that is to be expected at this stage. The Stone Grey Horween Leather Watch band is gorgeous, but it is also like a SPONGE. I live in Florida and my first day of wearing it outside, the leather was discolored and stained due to sweat. I have substituted it with a Pebble Steel Band and it was well worth the $20. There are no available accessories (Bands/Cases or additional chargers available to purchase anywhere. PLEASE OFFER THEM ASAP. The battery life could be better, but the watch is nearly everything else I hoped it could be. I am looking forward to where the new 'Wearables War" is going to take us and what the Moto 360 2.0 will become.

Its been a great smartwatch! Amazing design, although you have to get used to using it without the phone. A lot of people and coworkers were amazed by it once I showed the features. Android Wear is still young, so hopefully it'll just get better!

Probably the best smartwatch on the market. This watch is awesome! Also, it has the best design I have very seen on a smartwatch. I can't believe it took people this long to figure out that smartwatches should be round! This is just so amazing, although Android Wear is sort of a BETA, well that means it will get even better! I love this watch, it is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To me a simple style, with awesome battery life, thanks to the latest update for the Moto 360. I've gone a couple of days without having to charge my 360 with the ambient setting off. I'm sure with the setting turned on the battery life will be a couple hours lower. Nice clarity for the screen size and it simply does what I need it to do, tell me the time and give me notifications. Got an mini dialer app downloaded to my phone just in case that rare moment comes up where I need to dial someone from my watch instead of pulling my phone out.

My spouse needed a new watch and also needed something to help with fitness tracking. This combines both. It also allows her to get phone notifications to her wrist so she doesnt have to find her phone.

My main concern before buying this watch was the battery life. However, over the past week, the battery has dropped to no lower than 35% after 14 hours (I have ambient off and using a dark watch face). everything works as advertised - setup was quick (just needed to download the Android Wear app first). I also bought the Pebble metal band from Best buy, and installing it was easy (just watch a youtube video on how to do it).

The thing I love about this watch is that it works great with pretty much any Android smartphone. The leather band provides a modern/casual look that can still pass as PRO if you need to dress up.

This is a stylish 'watch', that is more a wireless communicator. Unlike the unexciting apple watch, it is round. The black color looks great. The features of Android are great, and it works well with the Nexus.

This watch is excellent. It's great to be able to screen calls without pulling out my phone. Setting reminders and taking notes is simple and fast. The different choices in face dials is great. The updates to the OS have helped immensely with battery life. I can go two full days with regular use without it even getting down to 10%, recharge times are <1 hour to full. I would definitely buy this again and look forward to future updates and apps that are going to be released in the future.

After the first day having it after pre-order, I was very disappointed with battery life. I was lucky to squeeze out 12-13 hours with ambient mode off. Once update came out and a few battery cycles I easily make 15+ hours with 55-60% battery remaining. I am totally ok with that. Also switched out the band with a pebble steel band right away, didn't even bother wearing the leather bands as I prefer the heavier feeling as the actual Moto360 is surprisingly light. So happy to have this watch.

Genuinely impressed with this purchase. Beautiful watch, with great battery life after the much talked about patch. I can easy wear it all day and come home with 65 - 70 percent still remaining, and in a pinch it will last overnight! Pedometer and heart rate monitor are excellent, and more apps seem to be updating frequently to send notifications to Android Wear. Only real downside I've found so far, is no apps currently pull the pedometer and heart rate info from the watch.

I hesitated to purchase a wearable technology but I have to tell you it has been great so far. I love the fact I don't have to pull my phone out of my pocket every five minutes to see what notification is coming in. My phone has a passcode that must be entered every time but the the MOTO360 doesn't require it thus saving me a couple of seconds every time. There is a slight learning curve and limited apps out there so far but its still worth the purchase.

    Very disappointed

I had really high hopes for this watch. After 1 month of ownership i regret asking for this watch for my birthday but since the 15 day return period is over i am stuck with this piece of garbage that cost us $250. After a week of use, the watch just " froze" one morning while charging, hence no alarm, late for work... A reset resolved it and it is even mentioned in the user manual. So i was disappointed but hopeful that it will not do this again. Two weeks with " little" problems like watch does not wake by tapping the screen, but sometimes it does. Never gets an accurate hearth rate. There is no way to transfer those hearth rate or walking statistics to my phone anyway to use in any fitness programs... Yesterday i woke to a message that said "android gear has stopped" and no matter how many times i hit the ok button, that was the only thing my screen was showing. It was a Sunday so no alarm needed but i would have missed this alarm if it was a weekday. No time, no alarm, no steps etc. due to the error message on the screen. Tried everything to get the connection back. Turning it on and off, reinstalling the android gear on the phone, turning phone on and off. I finally ended up resetting the watch which deleted all my step history, all the alarms etc. i had to do this twice since yesterday just to get connected to my phone. And finally, today i had a 1 pm meeting. I was running a few minutes late. Went to the meeting room expecting to apologize to the crowd, except, no one was there. I looked at the good old $5 wall clock, it was only 12:45. My "smart" watch was 18 minutes fast and saved me from an apology... So yet another reset which did not resolve it. At that point i gave up. Half hour later, back to correct time... I am looking forward to my next adventure with my "smart" watch. Looks like long hours of waiting on the line to talk to moto cust. Serv. is in my future. In the mean time my $18 old timer Casio is happy to be back on my wrist... That how i burned $250.
