Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the Moto 360 Smartwatch 46mm Stainless Steel's long battery life, stylish design, and useful notifications. They appreciate that it is easy to use and offers a variety of watch faces to choose from. However, some customers have concerns about its durability, display quality, connectivity issues, heart rate monitor accuracy, and its size being too large for smaller wrists.

I am very pleased with my new Moto360. I've only had it a week, but it has solved one of the biggest problems I've had with my cell phones - notification and rings! Now I can finally leave my phone on vibrate, and trust the watch to vibrate on my wrist to let me know when I have a text, meeting, or phone call. No more being awakened at night, no more being embarrassed by phone noises during meetings, no more missed texts or reminders! The other big feature I love is looking at the time and seeing when my next meeting is. All the other stuff it does is a bonus! Well worth the money. I'm not a terribly heavy user, but battery life has not been an issue. I stick it on the charger each night with over 50% remaining.

I wanted a smart watch you could call from, as well as play games and text. I was told by associates it would do all that...should have done more research. Unfortunately, you can't call from this watch, which was a big issue.

I love this smart watch, I have had it for a little over a month now, and everyday it just keeps becoming more useful. It is almost as important as my nexus 5 is to me. If you are considering on getting a smart watch, the moto 360 I highly recommend. I've used some of the other top brands out there but none of them so far don't compare to the 360. The only bad thing I have to say about the 360 is I sweat a lot when working out, and I had to get the steel band because the leather band just doesn't not do well with all the moisture. That is the only thing I have bad to say about it, but you can get the pebble watch band here at best buy for a great price and it is holding up to my activities.

This product truly does have alot of potential! I have used it for around a week and even though its a bit pricey, Its still an amazing device that not alot of people have. This is something that will definitly get the attention of family and friends and just other people who will be eager to know what it does and how it works. This is a great little device that adds so much convenience on just a watch. If your looking for something different then everyday tech than this is the product for you.

Battery Life makes this product a no-go

First off, let me say I really wanted this to work for me. I have a pebble steel and love it and hoped the 360 was the next step up on the smartwatch chain. In many ways it is. It looks gorgeous and far more expensive than it actually is (although I think the stainless on black looks better than the black on black). The screen is bright and responsive and overall I like the functionality. It looks good with a suit or with casual wear. Are there some issues software-wise? Of course, but I don't see anything that can't and won't be fixed by v2 of android wear (eg, keeping notifications for later review a la pebble, or the ability to turn the screen on with the button only) The reason I returned mine is because the battery life is unacceptable. I would put on my 360 typically at 6:45AM. With light-moderate use, it never lasted past 3PM, sometimes far less depending on how many notifications I received. Now with a phone, I can drop it on a charger during the day and not lose functionality-with a watch, not so much. My pebble goes 5-6 days between charges. Now I know some people will say, "why not have fewer notifications on the watch?"-Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the watch then? As it is, I think Moto is on to a good thing and I'm excited to see what V2 brings to the table. In the meanwhile I'll continue rocking my pebble.

The device needs to download a software update after initial setup, and this does eat a lot of battery. However, after the update is installed, the battery life will improve. Also consider that anytime you've got a new piece of tech, you're probably going to be using it / playing with it a lot more than you would once you've had it for a while and gotten used to it. Give it a few days, even a week, and then see how you feel about it.MotorolaMobility

Bad Product, all hype no delivery

Horrid operating system, crashed 3 times in 8 hours, killed the battery on my phone to less that 40% in 6 hours, and caused phone to get very hot. Put the CPU in to constant loop. Phone battery usually lasts 1.5 days. Returning the watch. Only good feature is there are tons of watch face apps but not much else. Don't waist you money.

That doesn't sound normal at all. It could be that you received a defective unit, but that's not usually how the 360 performs. I'm sorry you had such a poor experience.MotorolaMobility

    Moto was only a wish

I bought online and picked up my Moto. When I got home, it seemed odd that the cylindrical box opened so easily. It amazed me to see that Best Buy sold me a very used Moto. The packaging was crammed back in the box. The leather strap was worn and the documentation was missing. It was to be a great product, but sold my a below par retailer.

    Main problem: Weak vibration

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

My biggest gripe with the Moto 360 is the weak vibration. What this does is make it so I never know when a new alert from a text/call/email/reminder comes in. I would have to constantly check the watch and shake it to "awaken" it. 2) Battery life: Didn't have a problem with battery life. Just wanted it to last a full 24 hours. 3) Watch ambient light: To see the watch face showing the time and date (which is a normal watch function), you need to allow the ambient light to keep the display lit all day. This drains the battery a ton. For the above reasons, I returned the Moto 360 and went back to my Pebble...then bought the Pebble Metal and love it. Not even close to being as cool and flashy as the 360, but I still prefer the function of it much more. Hoping Google makes a great Nexus Watch soon.

    Returning watch

I bought a defective moto 360. Very glitchy. Constantly going dim randomly when your checking on the notifications or doing anything. No audible sound for alerts, only a very weak vibration. The battery life is very good after update. Cosmetically, it's a beautiful watch! I put the pebble metal band on the watch and it took it up a notch. Stutters a lot from the old processor that's built into it. The screen resolution is really bad. Some watch faces look washed out. I think motorola spent too much time working on the external features besides the internal features.

Short battery life, and really nothing more than a notification watch. Looks nice, but you can never have it on because the battery wouldn't last more than four hours if display is left on at any amount of time
