Customers are saying
Customers are enthusiastic about the Moto 360 Smartwatch 46mm Stainless Steel's long battery life, stylish design, and useful notifications. They appreciate that it is easy to use and offers a variety of watch faces to choose from. However, some customers have concerns about its durability, display quality, connectivity issues, heart rate monitor accuracy, and its size being too large for smaller wrists.

More useful than I thought
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never wore a watch until the Moto 360 and I love it. Having texts, emails, heart rate and GPS on my wrist is great. The watch is very stylish and well built. An added plus is anyone using Android Lollipop like myself doesn't have to unlock their phone if they are wearing a watch. Great feature.

Excellent first gen watch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The software is only going to get better. I decided on the moto 360 as a personal preference over the G watch R..the black bar which I thought would be a deal breaker ended up being not an issue at all. after a couple days use i completely forgot there is a black bar.

Not Ready for prime time
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I was excited about getting the Moto360. I had visions of wearing it all the time, and not needing my phone. What I found was that it felt cheap; like plastic. Not something I wanted to wear as a watch. I kept looking at the time, and had to wait for the screen to go on. Sure, it was nice to see text messages and emails as they came in, but not worth the 250. Bottom line, smart watches are on their way; but this version 1 'toy' is just that..play with it for a few days, the toss it in a drawer and say 'wow..why bother'.

frustrating experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this smart watch to use it with my android device Motorola Moto X2. I though that it would be a nice experience to use both devices Motorola. It was such an issue to pair the devices, once I got it, it kept on disconnecting and showing message error: "unfortunately the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped" on the watch. Tried reseting the watch, rebooting the phone, reinstalling android wear app but nothing worked. I had to returned it.

work in progress
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it's not a bad watch, i enjoy it. it's going to keep growing with Android Wear in time, but the battery life isn't the best for me right now.

Great! For a while...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch was great for the first month or two. Now, if the watch and phone get far enough apart to disconnect, I have to do a factory reset on the watch to re-pair it with the phone. Every time. Then I have to reload all of my apps and reset all of my settings. Every time. I bought the watch and strap separately, it is not worth the hassle to disassemble and return it. I doubt if I'll ever buy anything made by Motorola again.

Great Technology for the Modern World
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Moto 360 watch is elegant, and technologically advanced compared to most other Wearables on the market today. Plenty of form and function in this thing!

Posted .There are a number of things that will affect your battery life. Things to consider are: Are you using a light or dark watch face? What screen brightness setting are you using? Do you have ambient/always on display enabled or turned off? Also consider that you're never going to see optimal battery life on any electronic device in the first few days of use. Between installing apps and updates and learning your way around all the features and capabilities, you're going to be using it a lot more in the beginning than you would once you get used to it.

Anticipation was high! Won't turn on.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Today was launch day for the Moto 360, and I was one of the lucky ones who was able to snag a new Moto 360 smart watch. After unboxing, it wouldn't turn on, so I put it on the cool wireless charging dock. 4 hours later, and it still won't turn on. The device is warm, so it seems like it's charging. After spending some time on the phone with a motorola support analyst with a fake American name who had basic communication issues, they claimed that the device should automatically turn on when the device is charged enough. I would hope that 4 hours should be enough to get a basic charge to at least turn on. I had been waiting for this device since the announcement a few months ago. Looks like I got a dud, and it's already out of stock everywhere. I'll leave it charging on the dock overnight and see if it comes on. Otherwise, I have a $250 circular paperweight. :(

Good Looking Watch but thats about it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch does not even come close to the Gear 2. It looks amazing and charges nice but has no capability what so ever. Can't read texts, can't read emails, can't do much of anything very well at all. It does notify you when you get a text but you need to read it on the phone. This watch is like a broken toy compared to the Gear 2 but looks way better than it....so there is your choice....looks or function. I actually use my Smart watch more than I care what people think of my smart watch. I purchased the Moto 360 in hopes that I could get usto the terrible UI but I just could not. I am returning it today. Also the watch lasted about 7 hours with normal usage. How does Motorola put out a product that has this bad of a battery problem? I'm going to wait for V2 or V3 of the Moto 360 before I try it again. or keep holding my breath for the Gear S

Posted .It depends on the app you're using on your phone, for emails and texts, and also the length of the message. But you certainly can view text messages and emails on the Moto 360. Sorry you were not satisfied with it.

Nice design...but still not ready.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In just two hours of minimal use, the 360 had consumed over 20% of its battery life, so unless you plan to purchase a charger for the car and office, it is simply not practical. My 360 had to be restored in just a couple hours of use because it had become unresponsive. If you loose or are in a weak cell signal area, be warned that the device looses much of its functionality. With a traditional wrist watch, I like to glance down and see the time, but with the 360 that is a complicated proposal as your wrist must be at just the wright angle to view the time or you have to actually touch the watch face, so if you have your other arm otherwise occupied, you are just out of luck. Overall the 360 is a beautiful and elegant smart watch design, but using is can be frustrating at times. Maybe its my southern drawl, but it often has a difficult time understanding what I am saying (Google voice engine issue). For me, this device is going back to the store. I will wait for improved battery life in the 2nd generation.

MOTO 360
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do like the product but it is sometimes a little confusing to get to the messages and information. The battery life is not all that . Generally only lasts me about 10 hours with all my work messages, contacts and items.
