Great quality camera decent price got i on deal for Black Friday 128 memory great for a phone

Take my review with a grain of salt. I had to upgrade my decade old htc One. I tell you what, that phone was a complete trooper. It had been dropped on pavements, on bricks, in puddles of water and today it chugs on. It dies at a 70% charge and heats up often and so i knew it was best to part ways. This device is awesome. I only use it to call and text and when my tablet is charging, i will use it for Rumble or YT. Also, i did not charge this phone until it was at 16% and that took 3 days. I hope it lasts me a decade! I also purchased the sahara case. It feels super durable. With this case, the phone is well protected.

I absolutely loved this phone. I was out of yown when my old one went out of service. I loved the convenience of the stylus. It is one of my favorite phones. Motorola. Plus the tech guy made special effort to transfer data.

The Best Buy associate that assisted me with finding a new phone was very amicable and helpful with picking out the right phone for me. I appreciate it very much and love my new Moto G Stylus!!!! P.S. - The phone takes really nice pictures and the photo I added was the first pic I took of our two furry fluff balls. LoL

The best low budget phone I ever purchased. Replaces my Stylo 4 just on time, LG stop making cell phones. Phew! I was about to purchase a Stylo 6. The reason purchased the Moto G stylus 2021? The camera is insane, the photos are like professional quality.

I am still getting used to some of the other updates from my old Moto G, but the camera is user friendly and takes good photos. For the most part it was an easy transition, has everything I need in a smartphone.

The Moto g stylus I got from Best Buy is a great phone. Tons of storage space so I can download all my favorite apps and games 128 gigs of storage space is more than enough for me.

Overall this cellphone is great. It's got nice software features. Performance speed is good. Camera results are decent. The only drawback it has I would say that affected it's rating is its fragile screen. If things drop from your hands often than don't buy it or get it's protective case rite away. Wish it has gorilla glass screen.

The specs on this phone are great. Its fast and works perfect. It has a lot of storage so you can download as many apps as you want, just dont use the camera, but more on that later. I love that it has a headphone jack and great battery. I cannot find another phone with these kind of specs for this price. While I do enjoy the big display, it is not worth the weight of this phone. I dont understand why it has to be almost 8 ounces. Motorola phones are getting bigger every year. Gorilla glass 3 cant take the weight on impact, so the screens break if you drop them. I had this phone 2 months before I dropped it and the screen broke. The same thing happened with my last Motorola, which I had less than a year, because these are literally the heaviest phones you can buy. I also started getting pain in my hands and wrists from using it. For this reason, I did not want to replace this one with another Motorola. These cameras are are completely unnecessary. Massive megapixels are the new fad on phones but they dont add anything, as the software on this phone is not capable of processing that many megapixels, which makes having that many MPs pointless (theres a lot of articles about this). A 12 MP Iphone will blow this camera out of the water any day. The camera software sucks, but you can get alternate camera app with better software. Also have fun seeing every gory detail on your face that the naked eye cant even see on the front camera (with a blue tint and almost no saturation). These cameras are also not worth the sheer volume of space the photos consume. That many megapixels also means you essentially cant take videos. I took one video and ran out of my whole free Google data, which has over 15 years of photos and emails stored for me. I deleted the video and got my storage space back. An 18 minute video on this phone which ended up being almost 3 Gb. You can change the settings to make the photos smaller, but theres no option to make videos smaller. I did not know Google had a limit until I got this phone. Google is going to get rich from all the MEGA megapixel phones coming out. This is a very bad and pointless trend in cell phones and like headphone jacks, great 12-16 MP phones are probably now a thing of the past. Imagine all the energy its going to take to store everyone's gigantic photos and videos, which is probably ultimately bad for the environment. Also no 5 G. Motorola already came out with a new 5 G version of this phone. Thats why these phones are so cheap. But the new Moto G Stylus is not as good as this one as it has a Mediatek processor that doesnt come near the speed of Snapdragon on this one. So Motorola's not only going heavier, its going down in quality and is not going to be king of the mid and low range phone for very much longer, which is a serious shame. I really loved this phone and think Motorola had the best specs on their budget phones, but those days appear to be coming to an end. Smaller hands cant hold these heavy phones and I would not get this if you use your phone a lot. They are literally going to cause overuse injuries. If you dont mind the massive weight and not having 5G coverage, get a good case because you will need it for this phone, which will make it near impossible to hold for more than brief periods of time. Also say goodbye to good, low megapixel cameras. Bigger is not better. Its really lame most Android phone companies are going heavier on all budget and midrange phones, (probably hoping to torture us into buying a lighter $1000 phone). So goodbye Motorola. Since headphone jacks are disappearing on all Android phones, I might as well get a far superior, light weight Iphone for not that much more money.

Disappointed! Brand new unopened phone got delivered about an hour ago and stylus is already stuck! Won't go in, won't come out. I am with a 90year old client. Can't leave her to do an exchange in store. I call best buy, and the line is so bad and calls keep dropping. Am just frustrated!

I decided to switch to the Moto G Stylus (2020 ed.) last year b/c I became very irritated w/ Samsung's and Apple's exhortation. I cannot reasonably justify buying a «premium» phone that costs well over 1K. You can get an ipad now for less than two hundred bucks and now these companies are wanting 1000+ for a phone that doesn't do that much more.My computer, which I work more on does a lot more, cost less than half of this price. So jumping was more a philosophical change. Based off my experience with this phone I can tell you the following: 1- The phone has a modest performance and works well comparing the price cost of the newest other flagship phones. 2- The phone does 95% of what other so-called premium phones do w 1/3 of the price 3- The phone charge is insane. I have held one charge for at least three day and spend several hours on the. 4- The camera is outstanding for the brand and takes some nice sunny shots (will add photos later). 5- The stylus pen, although simple, really under-sales itself and does a lot for the price of this. 6- I hardly noticed too much performance distinctions with these phone and other more popular phones. Now granted, I am not trying to play hard-core video games because that's what a gamer-PC is supposed to do (pun intended), but still compared to the prices of others, I don't think you can beat this model.

I bought this to replace my wife's old Moto Force 2 Droid, which she loved for its excellent reception and didn't want to give up, but it had issues and had become totally unreliable. Since she hates change and is not exactly the most tech-savvy person in the neighborhood I figured sticking with Moto would give more consistency in the user interface. I wanted something at a reasonable price with a decent camera, longest possible battery life, good phone/Internet reception in remote areas, not too much larger than the Force 2, and hopefully a processor that would keep things moving along at a decent clip. Even staying within the Moto lineup there is a bewildering array of choices that meet or come close to providing all these. While she will probably never use the stylus, the G7 Stylus came closest to checking off all the boxes. Sure, there are phones with better specs out there but for a non-power user who needs reliable reception and decent camera, this phone was perfect. Since 5G is so slow in rolling out I stuck with the 4G version so I expect battery life will be excellent, at least for the first year or so. She had to go out of town the day after the purchase and was sure she would not be able to do anything other than text if she was lucky. She called the next day and was excited to report she didn't have any problems figuring out any of the functions. She says the camera is wonderful - she says the colors just "pop." She's had it over a week now and can read her Kindle books all day with a lot less glare than her old phone, take tons of photos, text, IM and talk on the phone for hours and at day's end she still has at least 58% battery. With 128GB she shouldn't even need an SD card...at least for now. I can't really comment on quality yet as I only had a few hours during set-up to check it out. Voice quality sounds good and the phone seemed sturdy but only time will tell. So only 4 stars for now on that but quite likely it will turn out to be higher, especially given the price. Since its a fairly new model it was a pain finding a screen protector and case to fit on such short notice but that should change soon. I could have easily spent hundreds more for "specs" and features that many of us don't understand, appreciate or use and not have gotten such a delighted response. She LOVES her G7 Stylus - happy wife, happy life.

I think this is a great phone for a budget price. So far, I like the combination of normal, wide & telephoto cameras and have taken some very good shots. It has plenty of screen real estate for video watching and actually being able to read text with my older eyes. It also has a good amount of internal memory (128 Gb) along with the ability to install an SD card for even more. You will not get that on an expensive iPhone. I have used the stylus to good effect as well to select things on websites as well as quickly jot down the occasional note. I'm using it more than I thought I would. I just refuse to pay a $1000 for a phone. With options like this it makes no sense to me. Also, because it is Unlocked, Motorola does not put a bunch of useless blotware to clog it up.
