had them for about a week and they stopped working will not buy again.

I paid ~$52 through BB online. For the price they are hard to beat. They feel durable, they have decent range, and the battery life, though shorter than I was hoping for, was about 5 times that of my old Uniden set that I considered worthless. I bought this one set to see how I liked them. I will probably both another set (or 2) since I have 5 kids. I tried them out on a Scout camporee with my boys and the range in a pretty wooded hilly area was good and the bottom light was far more useful than I expected.

I got these two way radios for a couple purposes, I keep it scanning incase a person needs help, I also like to take them on hikes and bike trips when im by myself incase I get in a bad situation and theres no cell phone reception which is very common in alot of the wooded areas around my state parks. Its extremely clear when talking to everyone and with all the channel combinations theres no way you can't have a private conversation with your group.

When reading reviews on radios its important to not get get caught up in the details. I live in the real world and these work great. I use them for hiking and mountain climbing. The range, features, and useability are very good. To anyone reading this review remember do research and understand the product your buying. This is not a police radio. Its just a radio and it does that very very well.

Great handset. I have used it at two different festivals when the cell phones stopped working due to too many folks on the cell networks. Handsets work clearly and the vibrate function is very useful. Also, the weather radio and privacy settings are excellent features. I definitely recommend!

Good radios, easy controls. The volume button on some of the other units are challenging. Not this one, perfect!

We mainly purchased these radios for use at theme parks or family outings and things of that nature and when in close proximity and there are not many obstructions they work fairly decent. They do comes packed with many features the average user probably wont ever use or need but on the good side they are easy to use and operate.

Great product. Range was more than adequate. We used these out in the desert mountains and they made life so much simpler since cell reception was spotty. Everyone in the convoy had one. Can't go wrong with these. Didn't need the waterproof version so I bought this version for less money but equal performance.

Best Buy says they're water resistant... but they're definitely NOT WATER RESISTANT!! Splash a little rain on these puppies and they will promptly die until you take them apart and dry them out... In fact, the insert provided by Motorola explicitly says the warranty does not cover such "abuse & misuse" as "contact with liquid, water, rain, extreme humidity or heavy perspiration" There are no rubber seals around anything on this radio, there's nothing water resistant in the slightest about this radio design! Don't buy this radio if you want to use it in weather, water sports, etc...

Easy to set up (not my first 2Way) My choice for Tea Party events. Battery lasted all day in scan mode with moderate two way traffic.

the radios are good, the range is less than a mile but i ude them for the mall or in big stores to communicate with my wife works fine on those cases. by the way one of the clips broke in less than a month

I bought these to use around the house and yard with my wife. They are very clear and sturdy. Great quality! I have not tested how far they reach, so can't review that yet.

We use these for around the property and inside our buildings. Works perfect for what we need.

Use with our Corvette club drives to keep the group together. Works well and has very good battery life.

i bout this because it was the only ones they had in store but they are not so great. just bout the Uniden - 28-Mile Model: GMR2872-2CK and they work great. i suggest that you buy those. best buys has the best price.

i think you should sell thouse things more cheeper, pepole wont buy so expencive stuff

Range was much shorter than expected and advertised. Range was questionable at 2 miles.
