The 4 cup maker works great. It has a delay timer so I can set it for a fresh cup of coffee when I wake up. I wish the clock on the unit was lighted.

I found that I was wasting too much with an eight-cup brewer as the only coffee drinker in the house. This 4-cup machine provides quality brewing with consistently excellent results. And it automatically turns off after an hour: preserving good taste, and great for those of us who dash out of the house forgetting to turn it off.

Perfect for me. It is small (takes little counter space), inexpensive and does the job well. It makes just the right amount for me, 1 large mug. Still it has an auto start timer. The clock is not very visible, but is good enough for setting the timer. I wouldn't expect anything more from it. What a bargain!

This coffee pot is the perfect size. I also have a single serve coffee pot but I wanted a traditional carafe coffee pot. I liked the features of this since it has a timer for auto on and an auto shut off for a small size. Makes excellent coffee in the price is great I highly recommend it.

This coffee maker is simple to use, and it works great. My husband likes his coffee strong, and I like my coffee weak. So we each brew our own coffee separately. The Mr. Coffee 4--cup coffeemaker was just what I wanted. I didn't want to buy an 8 to 12-cup coffeemaker or a single serving coffeemaker. I am the only one in the household who drinks coffee, and for that reason I wanted a coffeemaker that would brew just a few cups of coffee for myself every morning. This little coffeemaker does the trick. My only negative comment is that the coffeemaker does not come with a permanent filter basket into which you place the ground coffee. Buying one of these filters locally has proved impossible, and buying one online (which you can do) has proved to be an expensive proposition. People in local stores give you strange looks and can't help you when you tell them what you want, and to order one online and have it shipped to you will entail you paying shipping charges that are about twice what you pay for the filter. I had to settle for paper cone filters (which are not really a substitute for a basket filter) as my only alternative. The manufacturer really should have included the filter with the coffeemaker for this size of coffeemaker.
