I like the finish, it looks nice with my other stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. It is small enough to pack away in a pantry or corner lazy susan too. Or you can leave it out on the counter and it looks great. I am impressed with the color coded measuring system. This make brewing coffee a breeze and I always get the right measurements for my tastes. We have hard water in our area so getting good filtered water is a must. This has replaceable filter pods to help make sure you have clean water. The instructions are easy to follow and well through out. If you gave never used a coffee maker before you will have no problems following the instructions to get up and running in a snap. Bonus.... most of the parts are dishwasher safe... making washing a breeze too. You do need to provide your own filters... but I think that is normal so just plan ahead.
