Customers are saying

Customers commend the AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT MECH 2X 8G OC GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Gaming Graphics Card for its strong performance, especially at 1080p resolution, and its effective cooling system. However, some users point to the cost as a significant drawback and express concerns about the card's ray tracing capabilities and driver compatibility. While many appreciate the high frame rates and ease of use, potential buyers should carefully consider these trade-offs.

I paid $599 for this identical card back in April 2022 to build a new multiple OS workstation. Although the price has significantly decreased to $349.99, it is still a good value due to its compatibility with MacOS Monterey/Ventura, Linux Ubuntu, and Windows 11. Simply include the OpenCore bootflag “agdpmod=pikera” for booting MacOS with dedicated dGPU graphics acceleration, also be sure to include Lilu.kext and WhateverGreen.kext

I previously had a 3070 ti which is obviously better but it became faulty. I bought this one since it was more on the cheaper side and it didn’t disappoint. It can still run recent titles on higher settings in 1080p wich is great for me.

The radeon super resolution upscaling from 1080 to 1440 is amazing when paired with a 5600x and even better with a 5900x. 140 to 170-180 fps on warzone

I bought this card last year as I wanted to upgrade my former card, which was a RTX 1660 Super 6 GB. Overall, this card has been a power house. I have managed to play games such as Cyberpunk, to Assasin's Creed, to Borderlands, etc. The AMD Adrenaline software was a bit overwhelming at first, but once you optimize your settings, then you're good to go! I have managed to run my games mostly at high graphics with a few settings tweaked to medium. The card is beautiful and easy to install. The one thing that surprised me was the game bundle that came with the purchase. The two games were Dead Island 2 & The Callisto Protocal. Overall, solid card, solid upgrade and great quality! Love AMD!

Excellent output (easily runs my games at over 270FPS), doesn't take much power, and still running great 2 years later. Had to replace the RAM before I had to touch this. Only caveat is I couldn't use the HDMI port on my MoBo and have to consistently use the port on the GPU itself. But I think that might be a mess up on my part, however, it does still impact my tower's positioning. Would recommend for anyone going for a budget/middle of the road build

After the RTX 3070 FE I purchased from BB failed and I found out Nvidia doesn't actually warranty their cards (few do) I decided to look for a cheap alternative. This card was a good price and was suppose to come with 2 free games (which I have yet to receive *sad face*) so I went with it. If you game at 1080p 120/144hz this card won't disappoint. It runs cool (like 60's tops) and uses like 80-100w less than my 3070 did while being very competitive in many games. Hopefully it lasts longer than a year and a half *cough* Nvidiajunk

Great video card for what it is. Can Run most games other than some triple-a games at 4k 60+ pfs and higher down side needs more ram and could have made it 3000 clock cores not 2400.

Pros: - 2 fan compact design makes it good for smaller builds - 6600XT has incredible 1080p performance - MSI is a trustworthy, reliable brand - The card itself is attractive - Supports HDMI 2.1 Cons: - Can get pretty loud under heavy load - Raytracing performance is pretty sub-par - AMD equivalent to DLSS isn't very good for now - Current retail price is way too high for what it is

I’m writing a review 2 years after useing this product. From the years that I’ve used it for, it has never really failed me, I get 60+ fps in all games in high to ultra setting and rarely does it tip under the 60s. I play games like modded Minecraft, overwatch, call of duty,GTA V and Fortnite and it’s always averaging on 90-120 fps on high-ultra setting. If you need a good and cheap gpu, this might be your n1 pick

If you don't need Ray Tracing this card performs between a RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti. The Ray Tracing on this card isn't so great. But it is AMD's first generation with it. Most negative reviews are due to price. April 2022 is probably going to be prime time to start buying GPU's again. And if you're playing at a 1920 x 1080 resolution, this card is probably best in class.

Have had this car for about a year now. I upgraded from a gtx 970 that was overheating and causing bsod. No real concerns it plays my main game wow at ultra if I wanted to and plays baldurs gate quite high. I do feel my Intel chip from 2016 is now holding me back. But this card was on sale for 225 at the time and still fits my case

For $249 this graphics card is a steel. I was skeptical about buying it first because I have never owned an AMD graphics card but my anxiety is now gone. The Amd Radeon RX 6650 XT is faster in every aspect compared to the Nvidia RTX 3060. This is amd's first run at Ray tracing but they nailed it! I would definitely recommend this card to people who are on a budget or not on a budget and like to play any kind newest or latest 1080p PC games

I love this card. No issues and the Heaven & Superposition Benchmark scores of this card are better than I've seen from other systems, even amongst this card's scores. I'm averaging 139 fps at 1080p and 73 fps at 1440p with settings set to ultra on several graphically intensive games. I'm giving it 5 stars because I truly believe this card is that good.
