Love this monitor! One big positive, power button is on the bottom of the monitor and not the back. I know some other budget monitors have them on the back, so with a multiple monitor setup it's hard to reach the power button. Honestly, I think 27 inch even at 1080p is fine for everyday use and gaming. Unless you have a 1080ti, good luck pushing any triple A titles over 100fps on ultra settings anyways! Haven't had any issues yet and I don't think there will be any issues soon. I've had two other 23 inch MSI curved gaming monitors for 2 years now with now issues. I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone on a budget. You'll be happy! Just for reference, I've had an super high end gaming monitor, the Asus PG348Q, $1200+ gaming monitor, and this monitor makes me just as happy! High frame rates, smoother gameplay, and cheaper on the wallet! Ultrawide is overrated and not as productive in my opinion.

Great monitor for the price. Looking to upgrade to 1440 or 4K down the road but for now at 1080 I love it

I got this monitor two days early surprisingly. It was packaged really good and everything was in the box. I upgraded from a 60hz monitor by Samsung and I boy was it a jump. When I first used it it looked way smoother than any other thing I’ve seen. I paired it with a 1050ti but am waiting for a 2060 to see its full potential. There is only one thing however. It is not quite borderless because some of the monitor is not fully in use and you’ll see what I mean in the picture. If you don’t care about that, this monitor is for you.

I bought my first one about a year ago. I loved it and decided i wanted to go matching. I ordered another about 2 months ago and woke up this morning to half of my screen not working. Ive gone through all trouble shooting steps and the monitor is not working. (This is the brand new one). Really disappointed as there is no signs of any damage on the monitor and it locked at night in my gaming and was fine when i went to bed.

This monitor worked great for almost two years and then the screen started glitching.

Received the MSI Optix G271 27" 144Hz FHD IPS FreeSync Monitor - Black in excellent condition! Works perfectly and would definitely recommend for an exciting gaming experience.

This MSI screen was a deal purchase at $189 ($60-off) from original price. Worked great screen was sharp and clear for about two months. Then it on today and about a inch and a half of the bottom screen was pixelated out! Keep in mind I never really moved this screen and just bought it two months ago. Either it’s a defective one or MSI went down in quality. Really bummed because I didn’t get the protection plan.

monitor wa working good, Im using it on a pc and there is a lot of flickeing, some of the part of the screen you can see that its like light pulsing.

The monitor shipped decently fast, but when I was putting it together I noticed I only had half of the power cord. When I finished putting it together I realized that it didn’t come with the part of the power cord that plugs into an outlet

I have two of these monitors and they work great. I was looking for a decently priced 1080p monitor because I didn't want to pay a premium for 1440 or 4k. These do what I want and the colors, refresh speed, and response time. My only grip is that it comes with an HDMI cable vs DisplayPort but that's a personal gripe.

It's been a great monitor. I've used it exclusively as my main gaming monitor for my PC. However, I'm about to send it in for RMA as the bottom row of pixels are currently flickering. Outside of that it's been a fantastic monitor with great colors and refresh rates.

Love this monitor. The picture quality is awesome. The refresh rate is superb. I wear glasses and work requires long staring at the monitor. I like the reader / eye sight saver feature. It reduces blue light on the monitor. I am not a gamer but have used MSI hardware before. They did a good job with this monitor.
