I bought this tablet to replace a Click-N-Kids that the battery blew up on. I researched kids tablets and this one was highly rated on Consumer Reports. We looked at 3 different ones at a Best Buy store and decided to get this one. The parental controls are great and easy to use. Downloading apps and placing them in the "kids" zone is simple and the internet controls are great. The only real issue is that the battery doesn't last all that long, but beyond that I am very happy with this tablet

We purchased this for our 4 year old son and he absolutely loves it !!! Much better than previous owned NabiJr. So many more options !!! Love that it functions as a regular tablet as well !!! Only complaints are that the charging cord seems to be flimsy and poorly made & battery runs dead rather quickly. IMO !!! But, our boy loves it.....and is easily able to operate it on his own !!!

We purchased two of these tablets for our grandchildren (ages 4 & 5). After a brief introduction by mom & dad they find the tablet easy to navigate keeping them busy for hours learning and developing hand/eye coordination. These devices have parental controls so don't fret. You manage what they can do and how long they use the tablets. All things considered we (and our grandchildren) are very pleased with our purchase decision.

We have two Nabis in for each of my children and my only compaint is the storage. Don't bother buying the SD cards for this since you can't use it. The memory is used up really quick and my daughter gets upset she can't have more apps. So far my kids use their tablets to watch product reviews on youtube. Their educational program called Wings is pretty good but it is overly repetitive and my daughter gets bored with it. I had to get her past a few levels of stuff she knew before she would use it. Another issue is the charging cord. We have thrown away 2 cords because they bent where plugs in at the tablet. Since children use them, they should be more rugged than that. If they would change the storage to accept full use of the SD cards, I would give this nabi 5 stars.

We purchase two tablets for our two children and have only had them for approximately 3 months. The charging cord plug at the bottom of the unit is a bit difficult to insert, a child age appropriate for the tablet has a hard time doing so. My wife and I have restricted our children from connecting the unit for charging. I strongly believe that a problem will develop in this area in the not to distant future. Also the plug is located at the bottom of the tablet causing this cord to bent and kink directly at the connection when using while plugged in, had the plug been on the side or perhaps the top this would reduce the bending at the plug. To remedy the I advise my children to turn the tablet upside down fortunately the screen will auto rotate.

Purchased this as a replacement to the Nabi 2 (which we loved). When I initially set up the tablet, I had the hardest time. It wouldn't connect to my Wi-Fi and several other problems. I contacted Nabi Cares on Facebook and got an immediate response to do a hard reset. Worked perfectly. Once my daughter opened it on Christmas, downloaded some apps, and played with it for a couple of days, it started to freeze up. It eventually froze completely and we had to return it. The replacement we now have is still freezing and has had trouble streaming some videos. Contacted Nabi and they again suggested a hard reset. It was then that I noticed the volume button was broken. She gave me option to return to Best Buy or send back to Nabi for a refurbished tablet. Going to Best Buy to give another go as I purchased Geek Squad Protection. Both of my nephews have them with no problems, so maybe it's my luck?

I bought this tablet for my 8 year old son for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. It keeps his attention and he plays with it daily. the best feature on there is setting chores and responsibilities for him to do. I love it. Highly recommended this to anyone that has a tech savvy child.

The DreamTab is just what I was looking for in a tablet for my 7 year old. I can use parental controls to limit his screen time, and what he can access as far as apps and even online. It comes with a durable case that really protects the tablet well. A big downside is the small 16gb of storage, which fills up quickly with apps, (including the many preloaded ones that can't be deleted) and you can't use a memory card to store apps, only photos and videos can be stored there. Overall, it's a nice tablet for a good price.

We purchased two of these tablets for two different grandchildren. Both love their tablets. We purchased the leap pad for one of them, but it did not get as much play time as we thought it would. Geared almost exclusively towards education brought limitations. With the Nabi, they have much more versatility and it is used almost continuously. The only time it seems to be put down is when it runs out of battery power. Remembering to charge it every night seems to fix the problem. The overall quality of the unit seems very good and the rubber housing it comes in helps keep it safe from drops (for both the unit and small feet).

I purchased this kid's computer for my granddaughter who is only four years old. It is used by her every day. She is learning numbers and letters much quicker than I would have been able to teach her. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that it was a pain in the neck to set up I'm a retired computer science teacher and got aggravated by all the steps I needed to take to set it up.

purchased this as a Christmas gift for our 3 1/2 year old son. I've had time to play with it as I'm trying to get it all set up & full of fun stuff prior to Christmas so it's good to go when he opens it up. my only complaint so far is all of the bloat ware that comes installed. it's taken me a while to get all of it off to free up space (and some of it is not removable), but it's not a deal breaker. for the price we paid, it's a great tablet. can't wait to see his face when he opens it!

Nabi DreamTab HD 8 kids' tablet: We found the 8-inch touch screen with its 1920 x 1200 full HD resolution to be responsive, with vibrant colors and crisp images. Everything on the DreamTab is snappy thanks to the NVIDIA Tegra 4 T40S/Cortex-A15 quad-core processor; there were no lags when we played graphically intense games like Jett Tailfin. The tablet runs Android 4.4 KitKat overlaid by Fuhu's kid-focused custom skin, "Blue Morpho." There's 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage (expandable to 32 GB via MicroSD), and you get another 2 GB of free space through the Nabi Cloud app. There's a 5.0 MP rear camera that takes decent images, a 2.0 MP front camera for selfies, Bluetooth, GPS and Wifi.

I bought the Nabi for my 2 year old and it is a bit advanced for him. The tablet is too heavy for him to hold for very long. It is a bit difficult to set up at first as you try to download content and the video quality for streaming internet videos is not great, but it has a lot of features including internet access and the ability to stream videos which is a huge plus!

I bought this tablet as a gift for my nephew. I had spoken with the Nabi rep in the store and was immediately sold on the parental controls and how it could switch between kids and adult tablet functions. I would absolutely recommend this to any parent!!

Bought this for my 4 yr old daughter. Love how much parental control I have on this tablet. I can choose exactly what goes on it for her to use which I like since she's so young. Has "mommy mode" where I can safely adjust what my daughter views & is only accessed by password. Has the option to "switch kid" which allows different settings for each child. I only wish the battery life was better, feel like it's being charged more than I would like.
