My 2 yr old granddaughter, when the battery dies, will sail this poor thing across the room. It was thought, from description, to endure this form of treatment. I guess not. However, it stopped working after a while, and we got a replacement. Other than that, it's pretty good tablet with lots of fun games! Wish the memory was bigger tho.

My girls love the Nabi Dreamtab! It has so many things for them play, read, and watch. The only complaint I have is that the battery life is not enough to keep up the stuff in it. We have to charge it twice as many times as the nabi jr. But I still love it.

Nabi 2 battery didn't last long had 2 trade in for dreamtab. My nine year old loves the dreamtab because of the screen size and there are alot more things she can do on it. What she like about it the most is that it comes with a stylus.

My first Impression with this device was initially good. I thought, for a kids tablet, that it was a very good buy. Features alone I thought that it held up nicely even against many high end tablets made for adults. It has a high resolution screen and is a fairly powerful tablet as far as ram and the processor goes. It could have had more memory, at least 32gbs because of the adware, nabi application and initial apps that it came with sucks up half of the 16gbs. It appeared to run very well and I rarely had a problem with it until day 25 or so within my purchase. The Nabi, for whatever reason would not get past the DreamTab Splash screen after a restart. I couldn't even get into the recovery mode because it would freeze or restart before the recovery screen could appear so unfortunately I had to send that 1 back and exchange it for a replacement which I had to pay the shipping for. I received my replacement from Nabi a few week later and within a week I am now having problems with the replacement where I was forced to reset the device to get it working again. In closing if other people can avoid running into the same problems that I am having it is basically a great buy. I am hoping that I do not run into any more issues unless my opinion may change and so will this review.

Fairly easy to use, durable, has been dropped, stepped on, kicked etc and screen is still perfect.. Preloaded software very limited. decent system for a hundred dollars. follows android based operating system so adding items via jump drive is possible. longterm virus resistance remains to be seen.

The nabi dreamtab has a great quality picture and the installed games are very age appropriate. However, compared to samsung tablets it freezes a lot, has min memory space and movies and such can not be downloaded as easy. Overall it is ok, my daughter likes it but when it freezes she grabs my samsung

My little nephews tablet stopped working so I decided to try this one I was kind of skeptical about purchasing it at first cause I was unfamiliar with the brand and there overall products but went with it cause it had the rubber casing and even though he's not rough with his stuff figured "he's a kid, any protection helps." the only thing was within a couple days it just stop working and kept giving me an error message even when I reset it or tried troubleshooting it. so I brought it back and best buy took it back without any problems or hassle and gave me the option to look for another one or exchange it for the same model being a little hesitant I exchanged it for the same one anyways. the second one has not given me any issues and is used frequently by a 7 year old and also has a pretty good size screen. the first one I just chalked that one up to being defective. the 2nd has so far worked great.
the only 2 cons that I had was that first one cause it stopped working and the 1st time my brother set it up it made him enter credit card # and charged a few cents to enable parental mode and to get out of child mode instead of just putting a password. the 2nd one I set it up it didn't require the card # for that though (not sure what was done differently)

Although not exactly easy from the start to figure out, it gets easier. Battery seems to die very gast if not completely shut off when not in use. No major complaints other than battery life.

Overall this is a great tablet. Excellent image quality. My 3 year old loves it. Love the preloaded educational content on it. Connects easily to Netflix, Google play, YouTube.
Only downfall is the short battery life. Have to keep chargers handy. Also wish there were more options to customize (ex: cases and carrying bags). Red is the only color available.

Great first tablet for children, great parental controls and good software choices installed. Some ask for money, but that's ok, we just tell her to learn what is there. Battery life is iffy, trying now with Bluetooth and NFC turned off, she has no need for that at this point.

Got it for my son as a gift from mom mom. He likes having his own big boy tablet, we like the ability to set timers and limits on how long he uses it each day. Everyone on wins!

My three year old daughter loves her nabi dreamtab away showing me new things she figured out on it and so much too do she never gets bored. But if i had to pick something about it I didn't like I would have to say that the battery runs out to fast but yet again she away on it. But other then that all around awesome tablet.

My son loves to play Subway Surfer and watch Curious George on the Nabi. He wakes up and looks for it everyday. It makes car rides peaceful. Its the best $99.00 plus tax I have ever spent.

Comes in handy when you don't want to watch kid shows all day long on your 70 inch tv. Finally get a chance to watch adult shows because of this product. Can be educational for the child as well using certain apps that are built into it.

Yes! The graphics are clean & beautiful. It's a bit heavy. Comes with the size... The negative, the battery dies within... 4-6 hrs... I have to charge it everyday or sometimes twice a day.

I went to buy a different tablet for my grand daughter. But this one caught my eye so decided to get it. I didn't research it before and wish I would have. Battery last about 3 to 4 hours which is ok but not for a trip. Lots of stuff loaded on the tablet. Just wish battery life was longer

CUSTOM POWER/SYNC PORT! This is the biggest drawback. You can get more on Amazon for cheap, but it's a hassle that it has a proprietary cable.
Also, the back has an odd metal composite with holes... it looks like it was made to be mounted. It makes cleaning difficult.

This tablet is perfect for my almost 6 year old twin girls and it will grow with them with the ability to download new apps and books from the internet.
We love the parental controls and the time limits you can set. We set it for no more than 2 hours a day and that it automatically turns off after the 2 hours and as well as at 8pm if the 2 hours is not up yet. It shuts down with a little cartoon that actually makes it pleasurable for them to power down. They do not even complain when time is up. I am very happy with this purchase, the price is great for what it can and does do.
