This product is great if you live in a two story house where wifi range is possibly limited unstairs. With this device wifi can be accessed upstairs and outside the house. I removed a star because I had a bit of trouble getting it connected. After a few trial and errors I was able to connected it succefully.

I use this range extender in the garage behind my house, on the upper level. Before setting up the range extender, I was getting about 25% signal strength and now it is literally 100% all the time. I'd estimate that we have the range extender probably 30 feet away from the modem and router, but like I said it isn't in the same house and is through many walls and up a few levels.

This added the other side of the house to our wifi range. The 5g and 3G extenders were easy to set up, easy to name and easy to configure the password.

Boosted my signal so every corner of our home has a strong signal. It took less than 5 minutes to set up. Been using for several weeks with no issues.

I bought this to extend wifi to the other end of my house and it works great. It was easy to setup and now I have great wifi throughout my entire home.

Bought this for my sister, who has a N600 dual band router. She wanted a small repeater/extender like my parents, so I had the choice of this at $72, or the N600 WN3500RP at $100... I do not know why the N600 extender is $100 and this is $72 when ac future proofs my sister's network a little... for less. Anyways, set it up for my sis, both bands work on 802.11 n, so it effectively extends her range. Warning with repeaters/extenders: They work at 50% efficiency AT BEST, so expect them to cut your bandwidth by a lot. My sister was having problems connecting to wifi in her basement (long story short, treadmill is in the basement, she uses pandora while running on it). Her iPod connects perfectly and doesn't get lag on the streaming music, so it serves her purpose. If you need bandwidth for something more robust (Netflix, Gaming), you may want to consider putting the money ($72-100) towards buying a new router with extended range, and redoing your network so the router is closer to the thing that needs the most bandwidth. Not a knock on repeaters/extenders, just fair warning so you don't waste money on the wrong solution for your network.

I was very pleased with the strength of this product. I had a few deadspots in the house and could not get the internet to stick, this helped out alot.

The Netgear range extender was easy to set up and works great to extend my Wi-Fi signal into parts of the house that was not covered by my router.

I was a little skeptical if it would increase the wi-fi signal to all my devices but to my surprise, a full signal! Simple to set up and works great.

This was so easy to install and I noticed the results right away worth the price. Have noticed that the signal reaches all the way to my garage now.

Like some reviews mentioned, this device was very easy to set up, And as also mentioned, tends to need resetting on a somewhat regular basis. Range is not what I would have hoped, but it does extend it some. I think the structures where I am at are very signal blocking, but at least now I get some signal where I was trying to.

Live in a rural area and spend a lot of time out of doors where the strength of wifi signal can be unreliable. With this booster, I can sit on my front porch and use my wifi without any problems. Might have been able to do the same thing by moving my router but the extender is a cheap and easy fix.

This range extender is very easy to set up, specially if your router is from the same manufacturer (Netgear) . I have it connected to my Netgear 3800 dual band router and it is working great as of today. I purchased it on June 13th, 2014. I chose Netgear because I wanted to have an extender that I can set it up easily and, connect it to my router with no problem. I also,did not want to take a chance with a different brand. This also extend the WiFi range to where my smart TV is located and, as a result I can watch on line contents without worrying about buffering every two minutes. Use it if you have a large house, otherwise a newer router with long range antennas will be sufficient.I have been very happy with Netgear products. Very reliable brand.

This does what is stated on the product review. But please note that the customer service for help on this product is not that great. Set up out the box was somewhat simple, but I had to call tech support so I could get to the setting page on my laptop. If the customer service was better I would give a five star review.

Was having trouble getting wifi all through the house and with this product it not a problem any longer. I have full sig anywhere in the house.

I purchased this device to extend the wifi signal range in my house. One of the rooms wasn't getting good wifi signal so I purchased this extender and placed it in the center of the house. Set up was similar to any wifi setup. It wa quick and easy to do as I have done this many times. It may take a less tech savvy person a bit longer to set up but once it has been set up, the device works perfectly. I can now stream in the other room without the constant buffering. Yay! I recommend this product.

Setup took about 3 minutes. Installed in the outside "Pub/Mancave". Works like a champ...strongest signal in the Pub. Definitely recommend.
