Was very easy to set-up, really powerful in that it covers an area at the front of my house that I previously had poor coverage..

Setup was much easier (for me, at least) than range extenders that I have used in the past. This has not been in use very long so I can't say that it has been fully exercised. Range seems very good, actually covers most of 2400 sq ft home, better than the main Wi-Fi router.

This product has been excellent for extending our wifi range in my household. There have been minimal disruptions, far less than my previous extender, I'm very VERY pleased! I'm a gamer and my boyfriend and I game together on the same wifi along with multiple members of the household having phones and smart TV's tethered and this extender has done a great job keeping me from dropping out of matches, very happy!

I was usurping one of these for years, and it seemed to work ok, but once I changed my router, it was not compatible. This is AC band, and my router was N band (because my modem is NBamd). Everything needs to be compatible. I'm not sure why it worked with my other router which I think was N band too.

Bought this to extend my Wi-Fi from one corner of the main floor to the opposite upstairs corner of another room where my PS4 is located since everything you do on it needs internet. Actually ended up plugging PS4 right into this unit and it does the trick for updating games on the system.

Improved WI-FI in the house and gave me an Ethernet port to plug the receiver in without running wires. Also very easy to set up.

Bought it to extend my range for gaming purposes. Works great and it was a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend it!

My wireless router did not provide coverage for the entire first floor of out house. So purchased the Netgear AC750. Set it up in accordance with the straight forward instructions. I is plugged into an outlet in a seldom used area. It has worked without any further attention. The signal is now strong everywhere in the structure.

Purchased this for use in a 3 story home and it makes a big difference especially for 5g reception. I was previously getting 0-1 signal bars and now in the same rooms I get mostly full strength. Very easy to setup and works as expected. For the price it is an easy and cheap solution.

Due to the high use of the Wi-Fi in our home I thought it best to get a range extender. Knowing NetGear products and having owned several it was a natural choice. The decision to get this particular range extender was mainly due to location of need and simplicity of setup. Two of our far back bedrooms were able to get a good signal but really taxed my daughters patience as it buffered longer than she thought it should while online. The EX6100 fits into a wall plug and offers the extra boost needed. The set up was fairly quick and easy but I highly recommend you read and follow the instructions enclosed to have a trouble free experience (if you do need assistance NetGears helpful staff are a phone call away). Just remember to plug it into a wall plug in the same room with your router first and just follow the set by step instructions. You transfer it to where you are going to need it after being setup. My setup time was about 5 minutes from opening the box to setting up my Wi-Fi passwords. For simplicity I used the same passwords I use for the regular router but you can always change them later in the online app. Using the NetGear Genie app on my phone I tested the signal in the two back rooms before and after I used this range extender. In my case it boosted a good signal to a very strong signal and the upload/download speeds dramatically improved. No more buffering worries. I was wondering how the signal would check outside the house by those rooms and although it did cut the signal down some I was still able to get a strong signal where before I had none. It will make my Daddy-Do's a bit easier and fun as I can stream my music to my phone without taking up space, coming in handy when on the mower! The price was excellent, the shipping was fast and was even delivered a day early. It's a small yet powerful range extender and for our use meets evey need and exceeds our expectations'.

At first I was hesitant since I was extending a Linksys wireless router but with a different extender. But it worked! The only thing you have to realize that you will not get the same speed that your wireless router produces. Also, where you place the extender will also impact your output.

I bought this to extend our wifi service from the main router in the basement to my bedroom two floors up. I had a little difficulty understanding the set up, but with some help it was done quite easily. It's great to have full wifi signal now in my room! I recommend it highly.

I really simply wanted a "repeater" that would simply take my existing wireless signal and boost it. That way I wouldn't need to have devices switch networks when I moved from one area of the house to another. That is not what this does - it sets up two new networks. Thats OK, I guess, but sometimes I have to manually tell my phone, tablets etc to connect to the stronger, new, network and give up its connection to the original signal when I move from one area to another. The real issue that drove me crazy was the fact that it would setup two networks and my Iphone and tablet would login to one of them but that one didn not, for whatever reason, provide internet access. Drove me nuts trying to elminate that second network after trying without much success to train my devices to ignore that second network because they would only see the one without internet access. Had to restore and redo and research for several hours. Finally got it to work and it does provide better connection in the far reaches of my house, but not very happy with the work I had to go through and hope I don't have to do it again.
