I needed to increase the wireless strength from my basement in one corner to my son's room on the second story of our 2500 sq ft house. We're both gamers and needed access to lots of bandwidth. This extender helped me identify the best location for placement and within minutes we both were getting nearly the full capacity of the bandwidth we pay for. Now everybody's happy and no more lost signals!

Very simple to setup and does a great job extending wifi in certain areas of the house

After looking at many range extenders this one seemed easy to set up and use. Mfg.s. instruction poor, and they mention a Genie to simplify installation however your must have a Netgear Router which they don't tell you in advance.

Easy to set up to begin using the product. After set up just plug in wall unit closest to the source needing extra signal strength. Works immediately to get on the internet faster then before using this product.

I used this device to extend my WiFi from the basement to the second story of our home. It was very painless to do. Took less than 10 minutes to become fully operational. Has worked flawlessly since installed.

The Netgear range extender works beautifully, and it was easy to set up. I did it myself. Now I can use the wireless internet in my studio which is on the other side of our house from the Comcast equipment. I spent quite a bit of money having an ethernet cable added to that room. This was less expensive and works better. I really appreciate the Best Buy salesman in Woodland who recommended this to me.

This easily extends the Wi-Fi range to portions of my house that were not getting good coverage, even with a panoramic modem. It took some research to install properly, but works great.

I've purchased this WiFi extender for my brother and it worked as intended. There were many dead spots at his house (especially the living room and guest bedroom where I stay). This past Christmas, family gathering was at his house . . . hosted over 30 people and everyone was able to use his WiFi (tablets, iPhone, etc.) from the living room. You can see the signal as the maximum 5 bars.

I bought this extender because the house I moved into, my reception wasn't good at all. Now, with this plugged in, not only do I have reception all over my home, I now can get a great signal in my attic, garage, and my basement! I can even get a signal when I am in the backyard! This is definitely worth the price!

Needed to get signal to a section of the house with weak signal and this one did the trick. Received good advice from the BB consultant and opted for a high capacity unit due to the number of users and devices in the household. Takes a few seconds longer to establish the connection than it does for the main router, but not unbearable and worth the wait since the signal strength is now full bars.

I tested a few of these out, and found that they are easy to setup and are convenient. They can connect wireless to your network and then rebroadcast to extend your coverage. The AC750 speed was not there. I ran speed test and never was able to get above a 10mbps on a network with a 100mbps connection. I tried plugging into it directly to test and got the same result. There is definitely a bottleneck with this device. Took back and went with a $300 AC3200 router instead, and was a lot happier.

I have my wireless router in a new addition to an old block beachhouse. I never could get a good wi-fi signal into the main part of my house. Getting tired of trying to use the old power line adapters with no Wi-Fi. This solved all my problems. I was able to get my Wi-Fi to the dead spots in my house and still have an Ethernet connection for direct plug. Easy to set up. Even easier to use.
