I couldn't operate my iPad or Sonos controller on my iPhone from my kitchen, the furthest point from my Netgear Nighthawk router in a fairly large two-story house. This extender now gives me a strong signal in my kitchen! Does what it advertises!

Once its in a good spot it really works well. Set up took a few minutes, but the quality of my wifi is better!

We needed a boost to our wifi in our bedroom located on the opposite end of the house from our router. After explaining our situation to the associate at Best Buy, she sent us home with this Wifi Extender. I was sure that I would need my son to set it up. When I got home with it, I read the instructions & attempted to follow them not fully understanding the technical meaning of what I was doing. Well the instructions were written well enough for even me to follow & now we have adequate wifi in the bedroom. Feeling accomplished here.

Was relatively easy to install and works well. Used primarily to improve performance of desktop in basement, with router upstairs. Signal strength is better, but often varies from minute to minute for no apparent reason. Sometimes 5g signal is stronger. Sometimes the 2g is stronger. Overall, performance is good.

I've bought a few of these lately both for my own home and for my I.T.customers. The setup with WPS takes about a minute, without WPS only slightly longer. I'd recommend this extender/booster without reservation. And no, I don't own any Netgear stock,

My router is in my basement but I have a PC and tablet two floors above that kept dropping the signals. Took me a few attempts and a call to Netgear for help setting it up but now I have yet to miss any signals with the extender on the main floor.

This Netgear plug in range extender has opened up our home to full and complete wi-fi. Our router is located in the den and the extender is located in the library, some 50 feet away. We now have a strong signal and full range wi-fi throughout our home.

Product works well, gave me the extra range I needed! Setup is pretty simple as well.

I purchased this because wifi was not reaching all corners of the basement. It does the job. My only surprise was that it looks like a separate wireless router when hooking it up meaning you name it and connect to it separately. I thought it would just boost the signal and look seamless when detecting networks. Regardless, I now have a strong wifi signal to connect devices in my basement to.

We live in a cape cod style house and my son kept dropping internet connection for his Xbox One. I purchased this and plugged it in at the top of the stairs. Very easy set up, enter the WiFi settings, plug it in and voila perfect WiFi connection.

Connected wonderfully with our pre existing wireless router. Very simple to set up..all our devices are comparable. Good value

If your router is short on getting your wifi signal out then you should try this. Just plug it into a wall outlet and it works.

Last year replaced the modem and WiFi provided by internet supplier with Best Buy recommendation. House just has too many obstacles to make the signal function properly in the basement. Solution from this device was good.

Didn't think that it was going to work in my house but this thing proved me wrong. Had trouble getting a strong signal throughout the house, but hooked it up and within minutes our signal was boosted. Easy set up and no maintenance on it.

Works great. Before buying I did research to see what would fit best for my 3 story house as we were having trouble getting a signal in the attic rooms. This solved our problem perfectly. Setup was easy, wifi works amazing.
