I bought this extender to give me coverage in my backyard. Some days I have to reset my router to get a good signal from the extender. Once I am connected I have no problems. My Family and I usually have a smart TV connected, 3 laptops (playing games, my kids) 1 laptop surfing the web and a tablet web surfing, and 5 smartphones. Setup was easy and I love the fact I could keep my network names. Thinking of buying another for my 3rd floor. Only reason for the 4 star instead of 5 because I have to reset router to get extender working properly.

This is my first network extender and it works pretty good. I just don't like having to sign on to different networks when I go down my stairs.

This Netgear extender works great! My Netgear router is upstairs and I was having trouble with my wifi signal downstairs.I placed the extender downstairs in my family room. No more buffering while watching HBO GO and Netflix. It was very easy to set up. The price was also not bad at all. Very pleased with this product.

There was some increase in signal strength, but not able to use outside. We have a large home but the unit was only 10 yards from the exterior door and there is no signal at times. I'm not an electronics whiz so there may be something we could be doing differently.

Our internet needed a little boost in the front of house. This has definitely worked and was recommended by a Best Buy tech.

Great unit. I bought this an employees recommendation. Saved me a lot of money, and was perfect for what I needed it to do.

I put in an ethernet hub, so that I could connect this device and my wife's computer both with an ethernet connection. It was my understanding that this facilitated the device acting as an access point so the WiFi name would be the same and not an "extension". I like the product and have a different NetGear unit in our bedroom that isn't connected via ethernet cable connections, but I learned how to make it be an access point using a different connection techinque (whose letters I don't remember just this second) but I like the Netgear equipment a lot.

This wi-fi extender was very easy to setup. It found my home wi-fi right away and it is working. I get now a strong signal upstairs.

It's Very Possible that without this device, our service wouldn't have exceeded the optimum speed.

Works very well, and easy to set up. I'm using it with my Net Gear router to run my drop cams on the far side of the house. Works perfect!

We have a two story house that has the direct connection on the opposite side of where we use our tablets. This fixed our connection issues!

Item was purchased to enhance WiFi signal in our home. Item is doing it's job in very good fashion

Its been 3-4 months and this thing works well without issues. It pretty much generates 2 new SSIDs on your network. I bought this extend the range to my nest cams. So far no issues and works well. Very easy to setup if you follow the instructions. This is hooked up to an Apple Router with no issues.

Needed to expand wifi signal in a two story house and this works perfectly. Was easy to install. I followed the instructions and it worked!

This was affordable, plugged into the wall and was set up in no time. Our house is rather long and the router is at one end making it almost impossible to connect at the other end or in the detached studio. With this at the opposite end of the structure it has greatly improved accessibility. It IS visible, plugged in at the corner of the room, but not a big deal.

It was easy to set up and has been great at extending the range to all parts of our house that did not get service before. Thumbs up!

This item has increased my network X2 I get a much stronger signal than ever before. It has helped my smart TV and cellular connection.
