We have a large home but the unit was only 10 yards from the exterior door and there is no signal at times. I'm not an electronics whiz so there may be something we could be doing differently.

It pretty much generates 2 new SSIDs on your network. I bought this extend the range to my nest cams. So far no issues and works well. Very easy to setup if you follow the instructions. This is hooked up to an Apple Router with no issues.

AC750 Range Extender

The AC750 provides the extended wireless range that I need and having it direct connect to my streaming device, I’m loving it. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to extend the signal range.

Worked great to extend our wireless range

Our house is rather long and the router is at one end making it almost impossible to connect at the other end or in the detached studio. With this at the opposite end of the structure it has greatly improved accessibility. It IS visible, plugged in at the corner of the room, but not a big deal.

Excellent Wi-Fi Extender!

This extender is very easy to install and connect to existing modem. After installing the Netgear Range Extender my laptop and Smart TV both had an excellent signal. I thought the price was very reasonable as well.
