Given my technical background, I was prepared to have to fully program this device to work properly, however I found it to be very user friendly and didn't require much effort to set up at all. I purchased it to extend the Wi-Fi signal in a home, and it does just that!

Still working like a beast.. no issues.. may need to reboot every week or so, but that’s how all the gadgets are.

I had a weak signal for a security camera and thermostat monitoring device. Once I add this extender everything ran very nicely.

Found this extender to be very easy to use and to set up. Located it at the opposite end of the house and working as intended.

This item does exactly what it's name would suggest. My WiFi router is on the second floor, and my Roku in the basement did not get a good enough signal to be usable. The extender was easy to configure and then locate, and I can now get WiFi access from the basement for video streaming.

I bought this to extend the range of my wifi into the garage, which is about 50 yards from my house. Easy set up, works perfectly.

Our apartment has tons of walls and our Spectrum wifi hardly covers into the next room. With our new Netgear Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender we can now get wifi to run our TV, computers, tablets, and phones ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Simple set up and it's working quickly. Highly recommend!

I now can get a connection in places i couldnt before. I tried other extenders but they wouldnt hold the signal. Thanks Netgear.

A little confusing to hook up at first (I am not techy) but staying with the directions, which were clear, step by step I got there in a relatively short amount of time. Now devices in the back rooms of our house that were continuously losing network connections are not.

Boosted my signal from barely getting service to having full service in my apartment complex. Ethernet port also a great feature

Large home needed a boost to get full house coverage including patio, sun porch and the pool deck. Netgear provided and then some.

I love this item. My son and I had terrible internet connection down the hall from the main box. This extender works great!

So far so good. This item was actually a replacement for previous NetGear wifi booster. Works great but hope it lasts longer.

I've owned several of these Wifi extenders and this is the best I have owned. Simple to setup and the unit plugs into the wall.

This is a review for this product and wifi extenders in general. When utilizing the extender feature you are going to run into issues no matter what as its generally a feature with a lot of downsides. However, utilizing the access point feature (Physically connecting to the main router) gives a really nice extension of coverage. We have one drop spot which could probably be fixed by re-arranging the locations. Otherwise the product is great and does exactly what it says at a very good price.

I use this as an access point and not as an extender. Works great with very good speeds.

We had a dead/slow spot in the back corner of the house - which includes the master bedroom. So in order to alleviate that situation, I did some research and picked up this extender. Set up was very easy since I'd read some of the other reviews and knew to use a portable device to do it. The unit provides a very consistent and strong signal. It only got four stars due to the lack of clear instructions for the setup procedures. The range/strength is more than adequate, as it provides me with network coverage throughout the backyard now which is something I wasn't worried about before, but greatly enjoy having, now that I do have it.

I work from home and haven't had any problems with my wifi since putting in the extender close to my office.
