My router from the cable company just wasn't reaching all the rooms in my house. It was important for work and for my college kid's studies. This extender works great. Speed and coverage seem better than the originating router.

I purchased this extender because I was having problems with the internet range from the 2nd floor to the first floor. It worked great to start with and easy set up. Then all of a sudden it wouldn't communicate with my WIFI. I tried everything even a factory reset and still had problems. I finally got it to communicate again but had to go through a different WIFI modem. It still has spotty areas and isn't as good as the initial set up but it's better than not having any wireless at all in locations.

We are using our as an access point for an existing network. It works perfect.

It would be a perfect fit for most needs, except that the software does not allow you to use it with a web based authentication protocol. I could not use it with a browser first authentication scheme.

My wifi never would reach the other side of my house. It does now!!

This is a great extender and works great to improve range and signal strength. It's plenty fast for most applications. I have my tv and Xbox hard wired but my MacBook Pro runs super smooth as well as our surveillance. Good product. Does what it says

Simple to install. I was up and running in no time. Instructions easy to follow.

I imagine some people might have trouble setting this up and using it but it isn't too difficult. The only drawback is that rather than strengthening the signal, it boomerangs a new signal - you have to switch back and forth depending on where you are in the house. It's possible I'm not doing something right, but that's how it's functioning now. I am using the new signal for static devices - like Apple TV in the upstairs bedroom. Anyway, I could barely get a signal upstairs before, so it's working.

we have our router on the main floor of our home but the wireless printer is in our basement. We could never get a good enough signal to print anything successfully. We tried this and so far it has worked. Printing just fine!

Very easy to setup and use. I like that it has lights on board to tell you what is going on. Coverage seems very good, and where once my TV had no coverage, it now has 5 bars. Works great!
