Great receiver to extender for wifi for a huge house. Easy set up and use

I was advised by my internet provider that to improve my internet and remove dead spots that I should get a wi-fi extender. The Best Buy sales rep recommended this unit and it works great. Is kinda tricky to sinc it to my modem but once I got it hooked up it solved my dead space problem

Needed a WI Fi range extender for my house. Have a Netgear router. It was the easiest set up I have ever done. Works great, never skips a beat. well worth the money.

Been using this for about a month, and it seems to work great. Where I have it plugged in, It doesn't extend the signal with full strength as far as I'd hoped, but still much better than it was. I can't move it to another outlet to get further reach due to various reasons. Easy to set up.

I have a 2 storie home and had a bad wifi signal down stairs the extender help throughout my home now with a strong signal also the product was very easy to install.

EASY TO SET UP. plugged into wall upstairs and followed the guide, took 5 minutes tops!! increased coverage in the house and improved speeds

Anyone who has problems installing this extender should not be working with computers!! Install took less than 10 minutes, range is great as is performance!!

We have a lower level "man cave", but you have to go outside from the main home, and down stairs to get to it. TV there is actually RIGHT UNDER (in man-cave) our WI-FI modem & router (on main level) - but for some reason we still couldn't get ROKU or NETFLIX to work down there. Plugged this in, then reset modem & router (had tried THAT part several times before) - and hubby is in 7th heaven cuz it ALL works! Price was very reasonable - and staff at Best Buy told us this would probably be sufficient, v.s. a much higher priced one we were questioning! Now THAT's Great Customer Service!!!

Easy to setup, and it has definitely sped up internet speed for my Mac and Apple TV for that end of the house.

I have installed this extender over the weekend and I am very pleased to agree with the reviews that pointed me in it's direction. This unit was purchased to assist a failing signal from an interior closet (great place huh). The extender is located in my living room behind our entertainment space and it broadcasts through my front and backyard with no issue. I used to have IP conflicts due to the many wireless devices in my household and low signal. Not any more!

I didn't really even know this was something that existed just a few weeks ago. I have a two story house and Wi-Fi router and modem is downstairs in the den/living room. I previously had an Xbox in that same room, before I set out to move it into the bedroom which is upstairs and on the opposite side of the house. Most of my gaming is playing online with buddies, so I was a little concerned about how my connection would be. I did some research and discovered Wi-Fi extenders. Previously knowing nothing at all about them, I perused Best Buy looking for good prices and reading reviews. Finally I settled on this one. It was a great price and pickup was quick and easy at my local Best Buy location. I got the extender home and set it up, a little skeptical at first. After using it, let me just say... this is awesome!! I wish I had known about Wi-Fi extenders before. It does exactly what it says; it uses your same network, but extends as another signal that you can connect to. I use this connection for everything when I'm upstairs, not just the Xbox. I also use it for my phone and computer. It's worth noting that downstairs I had my Xbox on a wired connection and upstairs I do not (although the extender does have an ethernet port if you want to go that route), but there are no noticeable differences even while gaming online. It takes the devices a few minutes to get going with the new signal for the first time, but after that it's as great a connection as ever if not better. So glad I found this and purchased it, well worth the price which was not bad at all! Very practical item that works great.
