It will tell you to set up the extender using the app, but the app has issues as mentioned in one of the other reviews. If you go the url on the back of the device (mywifiext.local), set up is a breeze. Avoid the app and the wifi extender works great. I just wish it had 2 ethernet ports rather than only 1, but thats not a big deal.

This range extender works wonderfully! It was easy to set up and configure. Unlike range extenders I had in the past, this has not dropped off line at all in the couple of months since my purchase. I would recommend this for anyone who needs to expand their coverage to dead zones in their home.

It did help and it was very easy to install, to fix the reach of the WiFi it is worth every penny.

Bought this to extend wifi to my shop 50' away from an Orbie satellite. Works great and was very easy to install. Very compact unit and seems to be well engineered.

Dual Band Wifi 6 Wall plug has done exactly what we needed it to do. We have an old house and the walls are a little thicker, so putting this is line of sight of our TV room has boosted the Wifi in that room significantly.

Great device for using with the Star Link Mini. I work on a boat on the Intercoastal Waterway and although not real strong in the galley on the bottom deck it works great everywhere else. Of course the steel structure of the boat blocks a lot of signal that is the reason it works spottily in our galley, but it still works.

So far the range extender has worked great. Set up was easy to complete. I did not have issues with setting this up in the Netgear app. Wi-Fi speeds have been much faster in this part of the house now.

I bought this to extend my wifi signal to the furthest end of my router's range. It was very easy to connect. To set it up I recommend you logging onto your computer using wifiext so that you can better tweak the configuration to using both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghzor just one. I have a Netgear router, so both paired nicely. I recommend this extender. The sinal bost is string.

I have been plagued with poor internet reach for years. I have increased the speed through my internet provider with no improvement. I tried other boosters with no success, this one works! I am beyond pleased.

Product does what it says it’ll do. Fairly simple set up too.
