It will tell you to set up the extender using the app, but the app has issues as mentioned in one of the other reviews. If you go the url on the back of the device (mywifiext.local), set up is a breeze. Avoid the app and the wifi extender works great. I just wish it had 2 ethernet ports rather than only 1, but thats not a big deal.

This range extender works wonderfully! It was easy to set up and configure. Unlike range extenders I had in the past, this has not dropped off line at all in the couple of months since my purchase. I would recommend this for anyone who needs to expand their coverage to dead zones in their home.

The side of the house where my parents are have slightly weaker connect to the WIFI and with this extender, they've had better connection.

This product helped our internet performance for TVs and computer farther from the router. The instructions are not straight forward. We called support and after explaining the state they said it was already setup. We have seen improvement with the internet connection loss with the TVs and computer.

This Netgear - AX3000 is a great help in my basement Home Theater! It also seems to increase the capacity of my WiFi, and the number of items serviced! It has both 2.5 and 5G. I did have to read the directions to fully understand it!

I had to purchase 2 due to the size of my home I just purchased and placed 1 upstairs for my wife's office and one down in my man cave! Signal is just as strong as where nighthawk cable modem is located on main floor. 3k sqft home
