Easy setup. Worked well for about a week and then the2.4 band stopped working. Called tech support and was able to resolve the problem.

Works like a charm, I love the fact I have the modem and router built in one, more compact and less wires to deal with.

Bought to replace a separate WD router and NetGear modem, and cheaper than both. Used with a Roku 2, 2 computers, and an iPhone at the same time, it is outperforming the previous router and modem setup despite being about the same power level. Well worth the purchase.

Worked out very well. I was concerned that it did not cover the faster speeds that my cable company required, however it has worked without skipping a heart beat

Works exactly as promised. Easy to install. Added bonus was it was on sale. Highly recommend. Do not rent from Cox when you can buy and install on your own.

Easy to use fast internet for house with built in wifi

Been using it for a month now. Initial setup was easy. Connection doesn't drop. Broadband speed is what I purchased from ISP. Hardly noticeable drop in speed, if there is. Caveat, I don't have a TV, performance may vary with different devices. With laptop, Chromebook, smart phones all running the same time, speed is good.

Like the product but for some reason it reboots some days at midnight. I haven't read the info manual but seems weird to me. Otherwise range is pretty good.

This one piece of equipment brings the cable in and makes it available as wireless throughout the entire house. It is easy to use, easy to manage, and serves us well.

My internet subscriber offered a router/ modem combo that I had to pay a monthly service fee for. Buying this product at best buy saves me the monthly billing fee which would be more in the long run. This router is more powerful also. Has good range for wi fi.

Great product for my one bedroom apartment. Works well and gives me fast speeds both watching tv, using wifi, and online gaming.

It was easy to install and it has not yet given me any problems from last 2 months. I did not like the vertical design of this device. I use it in a small apartment but I did not find the range of this device to be good. The range is average, not as promised for large home.

Looks like NetGear has done it again with another solid product that simply works. Out-of-the-box experience was very good, connected to my cable access/network immediately and the WiFi set-up and Admin controls were straightforward. Everything worked as I would hope. Now, I suppose we'll see if it stands the test of time (durability, reliability).

I'll start this out by saying that I've never purchased a modem, router, or modem/router combo before. I had no idea how to set one up or what I'd need. With that being said, I took this out of the box after I ordered internet from Cox, plugged it in, got a connection, pressed the secure connection on the front of the modem/router case, and was connected. Didn't even need to enter a password or change the username. The secure connect feature on the front of the case can be pressed/held while connecting to your PC/Laptop and it will connect automatically. Furthermore, you can also connect the standard username/password way and change it afterwards. As for the 5.0 & 2.4 ghz, I honestly don't know about it. I know I've got full bars anywhere in my two story house, so you should be fine in an apartment or ranch home also. With a 50 mbps connection, you'll easily tap it out and use it to the max, easily. End result, if you want a Modem/Router combo box and happen to have Cox Cable, then get this without any doubt. It's so easy to use that it didn't even come with instructions; just the item, ethernet cable, and power cord. I'd buy this again and recommend it highly!

So far the device has help up pretty well. I am sure whatever little issues that have happened have been because of my service.
