I have used netgear in the past and liked what I had so when I need another router I used what I was familiar with. Good signal throughout the house and easy to install.

Easy to set up...The only continual problem is with the use function that supposedly makes my usb hard drive accessibly to anyone on the network (ReadyShare). It always works great after setting it up from either my windows pc or my Mac, but after a few days when i really want to get a document off of the hard drive it never works. This to me is a minor nuisance and have just gone back to sharing the hard drive from my windows pc. Although slower it always works. The range of the wireless network is somewhat limiting but I knew this going in.

I wanted to avoid paying unnecessary $10 to my ISP and was looking around to buy my own modem router for the thanksgiving deal. I found this one that was well suited for my needs at an excellent price of $80. It was easy to configure and works like a charm, provides excellent connectivity and bandwith(I get 118 MB per second) with Spectrum. I'd strongly suggest this product for anyone who wanted to buy a modem router at the best price.
Note: You need to check whether your service provider's supported modem router list has got this model before buying.

Bought our own instead of leasing from Time Warner. It was an easy set up. We have an OOMA phone system as well. Everything works. Great router and modem combo!

I bought this so I didn't have to pay Comcast rental fee. I was concerned that it wouldn't have enough juice for my 1150 ft. condo. The department head said it would be more than enough and that I didn't need the AC1750. He was right and saved me $75. So far no problem. It was really easy to install and set up wifi. I had to call Comcast to register it, but after that, it's been working like a charm. I bought one for a friend and had it up and running in 30 minutes!!

This Netgear N600 Cable Modem is very good. It's small and the lights aren't too bright. It works very well when you are not too far from it. The wireless signal gets weaker as you go far from it. I have it on my 4th floor and when I'm on 1st floor the wireless signal is reduced significantly. I used to have AT&T U-verse modem that worked well no matter which floor I'm in. I would recommend this Netgear N600 Cable Modem to anyone who doesn't plan on connecting to the Internet wirelessly from 3, 4, 5 floor below.

I've had this product for just over a month on the time warner cable network in Queens, NY. So far it has been perfect and maintained signal throughout the entire apartment. My neighbors complain about the network speed off their rented router from TWC, but so far we have not experienced any issued. I would definitely recommend this product

After 3 failed router/modems from Comcast and multiple visits from their technicians, I bought the NETGEAR - N600 after first checking that it was a Comcast approved product. This is necessary in order to avoid the Comcast mantra that the problem is due to having an incompatible product. Installing the NETGEAR - N600 immediately solved the problems I was having It is easy to set up and works well.

Pros: Very easy to setup. Just plug it in and enter a few key information provided by Comcast to connect to internet. Then, go to admin page (follow quick setup guide) and review default settings, and either accept or modify configurations based on how you want to use it.
Cons: It appears this unit doesn't broadcast very strong wireless signal at all - in my house for 2 GHz broadcast signal is around 70-80 feet range only... (5 GHz broadcast signal is even less, probably around 40-50 feet...)

This is a great wireless modem for the money. We purchased this since we switched our provider to Comcast and we got a 24MBS service and this was what was recommended by Comcast among some other brands. We would have done fine with the cheaper model but I wanted a unit that I can use for a while in case I up my speed in the future. The unit was easy to install, no issues whatsoever, navigating around was easy, if you know how to set up a basic modem you should not have any problems with this. I love all the security features it has. The unit is light but solid.

Was told my by my service provider to update my cable modem. Contacted my computer guru who agreed with my service provider that I should buy an all-in-one unit. Sales rep in-store recommended a few and said I couldn't go wrong with any of them. I chose Netgear based on reviews, the promise of rapid performance, and name recognition. Had my guru install so he could hook up my network and take care of any difficulties that might occur. Have had it for almost two months. So,far, so good.

I had no problem looking the modem up with the directions. Easy to use as soon as I plugged it in. All in one, modem and router, takes up less room.
